  2. GunerX

    Whats Dish?

    how? wut do?
  3. ?? then where are you putting your safetyload.dll and memoryblock.dll ??? they belong in the plugin folder inside the skse folder
  4. I dont see the "plugin" folder in there. ??

    Whats Dish?

<.<; uhm...you are supposed to use Wyre bash according to STEP to create a Bash Patch. And this is an error I get when I rebuild my patch.
  6. Double check the ini file. The way SKSE does the memory block change is...."unique"...it needs to say this EXACTLY [Memory]DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768ScrapHeapSizeMB=256 The Default size is set to 768, this is a little missleading so some people change this value to 512. DONT. I dont know why/how but the way SKSE does it is the DefaultHeap size MINUS the scrapheap size = total size. aka: 768-256=512 If you have changed this you need to change it back. If you have not changed this and it still isnt working...then I'm not sure what the issue is. Just keep working with it. -edit- and just to help you out a little, here is exactly how mine looks inside MO and mine works.
  7. Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp: Unexpected subrecord: 'COBJ.CIS2'Error loading 'COBJ' record and/or subrecord: 0200AB72 eid = u'IARHeroicStormcloakHelmet' subrecord = 'CIS2' subrecord size = 17 file pos = 492628Error in Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp ^ curtousy of Wyre Bash wut do? -edit- Please move this to the proper forum. (my bad)
  8. they are not BSA's. just highly compressed textures. I test with various levels of compression to see what works best. Also now for the first time, for no reason at all, when everything else but the dragon soul absorbing was working, I just CTD. I don't understand any of this anymore...the more I try to "fix" this game the worse it gets. -edit- just reran through the section that CTD me last time, no CTD.....no texture bugs...no macro stutter...I just don't even understand anymore. -more edit- I found ANOTHER bug. -rips hair out- Did you know if you don't do the Black Smiths quest at Riverwood at the very begining of the game, you can do it at the Smith in Whiterun instead? I sure didnt. Did you know if you DONT do the one in Riverwood, the one in Whiterun might bug out and become uncompletable? I sure didnt......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
  9. Almost, the only difference is "Stable uGridsToLoad" which is higher in the INSTALL order than the other items because that is how it is presented in STEP. LOAD ORDER: this is how it looks if I turn my mods on. Note that I have been testing with EVERYTHING OFF except the official DLC, even under the Archive section. INSTALL ORDER:
  10. its fine to let MO manage SKSE. Just check the memory log file inside MO and make sure it is writing Fresh information to the file each time you run the game.
  11. I know the name of the script file in question. I have triple checked and NOTHING is touching it but the Unofficial Patch. At this point I think its literally just the game DLC itself....how exactly this came to be the issue....I have no idea. Is it ok to run the game 100% vanilla (no DLC at all) and then add the DLC to the save later?
  12. there is something you can do. under the SKSE>PLUGINS folder you might already have MemoryBlockLog.dll and MemoryBlocksLog.ini, if not you should go find them. (I forget where I downloaded them from, google around for em) Open up MemoryBlocksLog.ini and at the top where it says EnableLog=false Change this to =true. SKSE will now output a log file showing you how much memory the game is using. You can use this to confirm SKSE.ini is working because if it isn't working then your Memory log file will max out at 256 (I think its 256 default...could be wrong...). Any value over 256 means its working. It will not ALWAYS say a number over 256, the 256 is a LIMIT, if it needs more memory and the limit is still set to 256, it will stay at 256 and then make a new Memory Block, so if any number inside the Memory Log file shows over 256, it is working. As for the other part of the ini file (the part about clearing invalid registrations), I do not know how this part functions. I know it is meant to clean up your save files. How it does it, and what exactly it does, I don't know.
  13. Yes I am testing with new Saves AND old Saves after cleaning the old saves and purging the cells (waiting inside a house for the cells to repop). The issue here is that Every fix I have read about involves that one script file, but nothing outside of the DLC and the DLC patch even touch this file (I checked), so what could be causing it?
  14. Did you see SafetyLoad.log ??? If not, then something may be wrong. If all else fails use the original Safety Load plugin link I gave you and follow the directions there. It will do the same thing SKSE is supposed to do.
  15. @OP In MO, in the left hand window pane (the one that shows you all of your mods), look for OVERWRITE. It should be at the very bottom. Double click it to open it, there MIGHT be a folder labeled SKSE, if there is look inside it and check for 2 files named SKSE.INI and SAFETYLOAD.LOG. If these 2 files are in there, open the SafetyLoad.log file and see what it says. If these 2 files are NOT in there, navigate to your main Skyrim Directory and look in your Data folder for the SKSE folder and check if the 2 files are in there. If these 2 files are NOT there either, you need to make them. Here's how: Somewhere (doesn't really matter where) make a new folder labeled SKSE, inside that folder make a new TEXT (.txt) file, open it up and copy paste this into it: [General] ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 [Memory] DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768 ScrapHeapSizeMB=256 Now click File>SAVE AS and in there you should see "Save as type:" and the default type is a Text Document, change that to "All Files" and save your new file as "skse.ini". Now you can proceed 1 of 2 ways. You can either put this folder directly into your Skyrim Data folder, or you can let Mod Organizer manage the folder. To let Mod Organizer manage the folder simply Zip up the newly created SKSE folder using 7zip (its free, google it) and then in Mod Organizer click "Install a New Mod from an Archive" (the little disc looking button in the top left) and install your Zipped SKSE folder. If that does not work, you can go the old school route and install the original Safety Load plugin here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/46465/?
  16. if an NPC is naked it might be a corupted or deleted .NIF file.
  17. Anyone else sick of all the bugs this game has? So here I am again....other people have had this bug....I know all the various "fixes" other people have reported, none of them have worked for me. I cannot absorb the first quest Dragon's soul to progress the main story. I've tried this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/31685/? I've tried this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/31909/? I've tried moving Dragonborn.esm AFTER the unofficial patch in the load order. I've tried removing all Unofficial patches. I've tried turning off Deadly Dragons (even though I already knew that was not the problem). -bashes head against keyboard- HALP -edit- According to this https://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Dragon_Rising I should not use console command to progress this quest. There is a bug where you cannot take the soul from Mirmulnir; if this happens, you can download the Unofficial Dragonborn Patch and that fixes the problem. (If you use console commands to advance the quest, dragons will not naturally spawn in the game world.)
  18. If your textures/game is crashing specifically when you LOAD IN to an area (aka fast travel or go inside a building) it is more than likely a VRAM issue. The exact cause of the issue could be from multiple sources. AKA bad load order, bad install order, conflicting mods, and the most likely cause is HI Res Textures. If you are using alot of high resolution texture mods (such as SRO, Skyrim Flora, etc etc) you need to optimize them all.
  19. @OP go here " https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/31724/? " MANUALLY DOWNLOAD IT (see how I put that in caps? dont use Nexus Mod Manager, its bad..mmmkay...) Follow the directions to clean your save files. Try again. Also for testing purposes use this to clean your Cells every 1 ingame day instead of every 31 ingame days. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/89/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D89%26preview%3D&pUp=1 BE SURE YOU ONLY USE 1 (ONE) OF THE INCLUDED .ESP FILES!
  20. Ok. Since I am used to using BSAopt, what should I set Archive.exe at to repack the BSA's?
  21. Well...now Im not sure if that would help me. I think it would...but maybe you know more than me. Here's what I've got: 40GB SSD - has Skyrim Game 1TB HDD - has MO and all Mods Since MO (I am not 100% on this) virtualizes everything and shows it to Skyrim somehow, I am assuming that the HDD would benefit from the further compression, right?
  22. Good to know. But is there any performance gain by doing this?
  23. Following the STEP Core program most users will end up with some Optimized versions of the HDdlc and Vanilla textures. Based on what I know of LOOSE vs BSA, BSA would be better right? I could be TOTALLY wrong on this. Should I repack my HDdlc loose files into a BSA and have MO manage it? Would this hurt the game or help it? Or would this make absolutely no difference at all?
  24. I have actually been doing extensive testing with the STEP core program in relation to Optimization using various programs, tweaks. And I have managed to get the entire STEP Core to function (even the things I had previously turned off due to macro stutter) thanks to DDSopt tweaking. Basically my MO looks bulky and cluttered because I have things like this: Random Mod - uncompressed Random Mod - basic compression Random Mod - super compression Random Mod - NIF Compression - Experimental (dont ask me about this one, I tried it on a few things and while I did not CTD the benefits do not outweight the problems that occur when doing it) Random Mod2 - uncompressed etc etc And I have managed to gain back about 20 fps so far. I highly suggest for anyone with low VRAM like me (or even lower VRAM like OP) to use all LOSSY DDSopt settings and change the constraints down to 1024x1024. EXCEPT FOR BODY TEXTURES!!! (STEP suggests keeping these at 2048x2048 and I have tested going further and it just looks bad....like really bad) OP should do this on ALOT of mods and try running the game again to see if it helps.
  25. Ok. I deleted them. Ran the sort batch again, watched it remake the folders, and then it deleted them when it was done. I dont know why it left them in there that one time....but w/e...seems to be working now. None of the log files show any errors.
