EssArrBee's post in How to upgrade STEP 2.2.9.2 Skyrim setup to STEP 2.10 was marked as the answer
If you don't want to update, then just finish your playthrough with 2.2.9.2. The 2.10.0 guide will still be here when you are done and ready to try something new.
When you are ready, make a new profile with MO by copying your current profile and naming STEP 2.10 or w/e you like. Then, as Tech said, use the changelog to remove old mods, and install new mods. It shouldn't take you to long to do so. You don't have to unistall old mods though, you can just untick them in the left pane of MO. Then if you want to go back to 2.2.9.2 they will still be there. That's the great thing about profiles.

Try this thread and see if it would help your issue.

I have been away from STEP for a while and haven't had the time to update it with all the latest stuff from every app yet.

EssArrBee's post in Yukichigai Tweaks, ok to skip? was marked as the answer
Your game won't explode if you skip it. I didn't even have that section in the guide until after it was a year old and it was fine before then. I do recommend Yuki's mods though. They are quire awesome.

EssArrBee's post in Confused about WoTNM installation order was marked as the answer
Millenia makes his weapons to use the WAR mod, but if you don't use it then you'll just get a bunch of clipping. I put the requirement there because it's technically required, but for the purposes of the guide it's better to do animations and gameplay mods last.

EssArrBee's post in Turn off transparency fix to fix transparencies? was marked as the answer
The guy that does ENB is Russian, so stuff isn't always what it means in the INIs. Anyways, the white outfit in Spice of Life will be invisible if it's clicked.

EssArrBee's post in STEP Compilation Core Patch Requirements was marked as the answer
It is not optional. SMIM plugins were merged into the STEP Patches. The mod is needed or you'll have missing textures in game. -
EssArrBee's post in WFO to clean or not to clean? was marked as the answer
If you have the newest version then clean it. The older versions weren't able to clean the mod properly. FNV does something weird with trees/shrubs that the others didn't so it wouldn't work with earlier versions. I actually think it version 3.1.0 that they fixed it, but I couldn't remember, so I just put 3.1.2.

EssArrBee's post in ILO step says to not use the "Ultimate Ed" esp was marked as the answer
That plugin prevents the ESM from being overwritten by other mods. You won't have that problem because the Bashed Patch will forward all the lighting changes that ILO's ESM makes. It's a redundant plugin that takes up a slot. Only users that don't use a bashed patch need it.

Ignore it. You won't have any issues.

EssArrBee's post in Do I use fINIp NV? was marked as the answer
I walked away from the guide before that mod really came out. I'm back now and testing new stuff. You can add the mod if you want and it won't hurt anything. It'll probably help.

EssArrBee's post in How To Remove EBT from STEP Extended Patch? was marked as the answer
Seems like there was one record that didn't show correctly. Delete 0200a30c and clean/sort masters, then you should be good to go.

I think it's a jewelry mod. Gemling Queen Jewelry is all I can think of.

EssArrBee's post in Help with Bash Tags (FONV) was marked as the answer
Merge them first. You'll be disabling the all the plugins from before the merge so it won't matter if they are tagged.

EssArrBee's post in Mods *not* to clean with TES5Edit was marked as the answer
LOOT tells you what to clean. Also, only mods that have plugins are cleanable. Everything else can't be cleaned.

EssArrBee's post in Updating MO from obsolete version was marked as the answer
You delete everything in your MO folder except profiles, downloads, and mods folders. Then install the MO version. You'll have to redo your MO settings and nexus login stuff, but that's it.

EssArrBee's post in error installing ADAM All in one 4.1.3 was marked as the answer
Do you have the internal installer turned off? I don't think external one is necessary for this mod.

EssArrBee's post in Bashed Patch creating crashes was marked as the answer
Only if the category has plugins in the right size otherwise it's pointless to do so since there are no plugins to merge that category. Everything on the right should be ticked because it is what tells the patcher to merge those records together into one so that everything from each mod is combined. Also, if Wrye bash asked to deactivate plugins, let it. Those plugins get completely merged into the Bashed Patch so you can reduce the size of the load order. Leave those plugins in the load order though, that way they are there if you regen the bashed patch again.
As for you not wanting the names tag, I believe that is fine. That sub record type doesn't cause crashes AFAIK.

Change the ini from within mod organizer.

EssArrBee's post in Stuck with Sunny/No bullet mesh? was marked as the answer
It may be a missing bash tag. Maybe look at the tags listed on the LOOT list for those mods then compare it to the tags listed for them in Wrye Flash. Click the plugin in Wrye Flash and if there are some missing then right click the bottom right box and add them.

EssArrBee's post in Plugin Limit was marked as the answer
You probably didn't hide or unselect some of the mods that were merged. Just go back and look at those sections and you'll probably find the plugins that you should have removed.

EssArrBee's post in STEP appears to have disabled my gamepad. Advice? was marked as the answer
Try going into your settings in the main menu and see if the controller is enabled. I play with a controller, so I'm not sure how that could even happen.
