  1. Skyfalls/Skymills was only brought up in regards to the floating waterfalls i think, but I think the next update is supposed to fix that, right?I have several reports on my mod page about the Solstheim to skyrim loading issue, and if you search back through this thread it comes up twice as being related if I'm not wrong. About the update, Yes it should fix it for those that have the issue (Related to the original RWT). Do you have that issue? Can I send you a test esp and Could you please confirm for me that it is indeed fixed? I should have time to finish it and upload it next Saturday. Actually yeah.. I can vouch for that. ILS only happen if there is no image, or its the alchemy table. If its the dark elf then it loads. Very odd. Thanks! Glad I wasn't going crazy ;). Yes that is rather odd.
  2. Hi all, Interesting thread. I see that my mod is mentioned several times (SkyFalls and SkyMills), I also had several reports on my mod page, as well as people solving it with strange solutions (I think they were more placebo). I am certain it is not the mod itself though as I cannot get this to happen on my machine (Skyrim revisited + custom) and most people don't have this issue. My mod also doesn't add any scripting. I had some problems with ILS before. It was mainly the tweaks from Z-fighting and SDO in combination with uGirds 7. The funny thing though, I could predict when I would have an ILS, based on the picture in the loading screen. Things like the potion making table would cause an ILS, but many other not (such as the dark elf with daedric daggers). Very strange behavior, I was wondering if someone else had the same issue?. Since I lowered the z-fighting tweaks and stopped uGrids 7 I haven't had any problems. It was stpping uGrids 7 that made me make SkyFalls.
  3. Thanks, I will continue to provide support for as long as is needed. Hopefully at some point, all issues are ironed out. Does someone here have experience with Autodesk? Whenever I change the waterfall meshes in Autodesk, the animation is gone. There is clearly something I do wrong here. I do not have much experience with Autodesk. I only tried to make rowable rowboats including animations once. But I got stuck on that, fighting with the skyrim engine. I did change the meshes in nifskope without issues, looks good ingame. However, whenever more than 1 waterfall is used, and the waterfalls overlap, I still get seems and lines in them. Perhaps it is something I just have to live with for now. I have to resize all waterfalls back to normal now, as I was so stupid not to make backups. I expect the new version to be finished end of next week.
  4. Nevermind. The solution is so simple it was stupid of me not to think about it :facepalm:. I can simply adjust the base meshes. In that case I'll try to reduce polygon count as well, to reduce system burden at the same time.
  5. Hi All, I am back, and have been working hard this weekend to fix the Realistic water 2 splashes not showing up. I have literally duplicated all individual waterfalls (1 Close version with all splashes loaded, and 1 distant version with all particle nodes removed). It was after I done that that I figured out it causes Z-fighting and flickering in game. To solve this I shrunk all distant waterfalls to ~95% of the original size. This removes Z-fighting and flicker, however, it also causes some ugly seems/lines in some waterfalls. Depending on original size, position and waterfall type. further shrinking them makes them to small to properly fit in many cases, and also causes noticeable pop-in. If I move/manually adjust them (which would take ages to do for each waterfall and test in game), the LOD files come through the animated waterfalls. Although I do plan to remove the Waterfall LOD, when Grieche shows himself, I still prefer not to spend so much time on it. Especially as my wife is already angry with me for spending to much time on this. Does any of you guys no a way that I can render the distant waterfalls only outside of the current uGrids? The stupid thing is, I know it can be done, as one of my failed merges, rendered the windmills missing when I was closeby, but showed up in the distance, although I know this is a bug, it would be cool if I could use it for this setup. Hope you guys can give some advise. I will try some other options, but it will take quite a while before the next update.

  8. New Update. The optional LOD has a bug with a wall in solitude. This is a CK bug, which I have to find a workaround for. So for now, no optional LOD. The Total editions are updated to version 2.0 Due to the esp merge script version 1.3 being buggy, the solitude windmill sails were missing. Script 1.1 works much better. And as far as I have checked, (This time I went through all my 30 test saves also in DLC) there are no more bugs. Updated Falskaar version, as the wrong LOD was packaged in BSA (same for total editions). This is due to overwrite folder in MOD organizer. Sometimes that can be terribly annoying! Please report any further bugs
  9. Update on the mod. Everything is now fixed! No more incompatibilities or overwrites with other mods, and the mod now includes performance mehses from Isoku's new Realistic Water Two. LOAD Before RW2!. For those who do not use Skyrim Distance Overhaul, there is now optional LOD. Much recommended. I still haven't heard back from Grieche sadly. Since I am going on a long holiday, I will not be able to update the LOD untill after. I hope 1.9b is sort of final version for Skyfalls and Skymills, as there should be no more bugs.
  10. Haha, I contacted SparrowPrince about that, he was joking! I will update my mod, to include his new waterfall meshes. There should be no incompatibilities with any mod anymore as of version 1.8 EDIT: apparently I packed the wrong ESP in 1.8. I'll fix it later today.
  11. I just discoverd this. I really like it, especially the terrain textures. Is anyone looking into this?
  12. I am trying to reach Grieche and have him supply his resource files. Since he stopped making further LOD improvements for the DLC, I would love to take over and do all the DLC as well as redo Skyrim without waterfalls, so all clipping is removed. I can do it, I redid Skyrim LOD, and now the waterfalls no longer clip, becasue there are no more waterfall LODs. However, my mod would overwrite SDO, and undo most of its changes, which would be a shame. If he would provide his resource esp, and the meshes he used, I ought to be able to adjust and improve the landscape of all DLC, including Falskaar. I have another question for you guys. I want to make a FOMOD, and was thinking to install the performance patch regardless. Isoku contacted me, to ask what I did to the meshes, and he will incorporate them in his mod, which should be out soon (he doesn't want to say what it is ;)) so perhaps, it is just best to include the patch regardless. It would improve the visuals of all pure waters and vanilla users whilst fixing any issues for WATER users without the need for ini tweaks. What do you guys think?
  13. I'll have a look. Strange though, All individual esps are clean..... There are some bug reports on the combined one as well. But they were BETA for a reason. I'll make sure it will work. I did make a lot of changes in the Forgotten Vale, so I am unsure if this ITM should be cleaned. I will do more work on that tomorrow.

I know it's easy to do in TES5EDIT, but I thought it could be an idea for you. Haha, I guess I was too fast again.All in one is up. Haven't properly tested it yet though. Hence the BETA. I asked without looking at the mod page, apologies :) And thanks! It's a life saviour when you're close to 255 ESPs limit... ::EDIT:: Sorry to be a PITA, but would you consider making a Total Edition without Falskaar by any chance? I know it's a hot mod at the moment, but there are people without it (like me... I plan to include it in one of my future playthroughs though). If you don't want to, as it's a pain to maintain all these version I totally understand :) Just asking, nicely. Just done that for you. There was another guy that asked the same thing, but far less nice.

  17. No need for a patch. Works right away. I use that mod ;) The only meshes I touched are the Solitude city wall mill. There is a compatibility issue with project parallax remastered' date=' I'll upload a patch for that soon. I will first make all of the DLC patches, then I'll merge everything and upload a fomod.   20. Cleaned version is up. Also added an ini tweak which is necessary to not affect fire spell effects when outdoor. This is really sad, and I will try to find a way to reduce the amount of waterfalls loaded. However, on my system (AMD9650, 2500K) this does not increase the performance impact. Please report results!
  21. Yes it does. This is also cause of some weird results where the land and mountains look really ugly but waterfalls are loaded as normal.
