  1. Yes, I use IW and IA (and also Bucklers) with SkyRe because I know for sure that ReProccer with Balbor's xml will take good care of its stats. :)
  2. What overhaul mod you use? SkyRe Reproccer has been updated to update stats and cost of a lot of custom weapons and armors mods. I use immersive armor and immersiev weapons with it and SR guide without any problem (and it only have some minor conflicts regarding NPCs outfits..). I may try Jaysus, will see if Balbor included it in his Reproccer xml.
  3. I just want to point out, as a heavy mod user, that probably mostly of the complains about RLO being dark is doe the fact that lots of mods changes light and fog edits that RLO does, back to vanilla. I have made a RLO General Patch for all the edits and loaded it extra late, just before bashed patch, and the difference is just WOW. I can see all they did now, WOW.
  4. I'd start with Alternate Start in other place, like as a vampire, or as a an Alik'r Redguard. Always do the trick, and avoid opening scene + Helgen useless caverns x) Unrelated to SR (but sort of), I just discovered why RLO is so dark for so much people, and wow, just wow. It is beautiful. A lot of mods change a lots of edits in fogs and lights that RLO do, back to vanilla... with the RLO General Patch I made, I've seen the difference in the first Inn I entered. Awesome. :) ps.: You just complete removed XCE? And what about UNP Hand Meshes... I'm very curious on the reasons. :)
  5. Just a short reminder, did you see that No More Ugly Shine has been update as well? It has a totally different file now and I am clueless about what it does. Author ignored me, lol.
  6. Discussion thread: Traps Make Noise by kryptopyr Wiki Link Trap's noise now alert enemies. Like it should. Just think that need to see if scripts are ok, papyrus log and stuff.
  7. This sir, looks amazing. In combination with some deadly traps, must bring some welcomed frustration.
  8. What are exactly the sounds that you guys are wanting to use? I like most sounds. :) Thinking in only use the sneak one.
  9. I don't have such a big VRAM to say, but it seems that reaching this much will bring problems. Check if you still using SkyTest, as it was the only mod in SR that we confirmed was causing CTD to pretty much all of us, and remove it. Other possibilities lay in UNP bodies, skeletons, double check if you did all recommended instructions of that section.
  10. SkyRe also contains Brawl Bugs Patch. I did'nt new EBT has it as well. If it really have it, it's ok to disable the original mod. Oh, it was included in the last update. :)
  11. I can confirm that glowing eyes are cool *.*
  12. I mainly constrained all textures 2048x2048 or bigger to maximum of 2048x1024 (only if 2:1, is 1:1 it constrain to 1024x1024). Optimized a lot of them too, but not the architect normal maps, these I let without compress, but constrained to a max of 1024x512. Did not mess with Water, worth it. Only constrained whole SRO and armor/weapon texture mods. So far so good. But honestly, I do not have a very good eye to spot that kind of problem in textures without have to compare/know them, and I do not.
  13. Come on... it's saying what is written ppl ¬¬ One of the RRR master is not loaded. Check the masters in tes5edit, under file header, and check if you have all of them loaded.
  14. Usually happens when you mess with folders inside the mods folder (like add, delete or change folder names) with the MO opened, only change it with MO closed or it will disorganize. I think that's the only moment I observed this error. Make constant backups and take care. Please, everybody who can try to repeat this, if you can confirm it we can send a report so the mod author fix it. Regarding some of these: Â Â IWIE-EB Patch - reason I don't have one is I thought Enhanced Blood was more correct (why do they have hammer blood spray for unarmed hit?). In any case, it just goes to show that sometimes... it's not worth merging. :) I try to capture that aspect of things in my guide as well. Glad you are getting a hang of things though! I haven't decided how I'm going to decide gameplay mods yet in this update. Some of the overhauls still call to me... probably for after v1.0 is finished. Yeah... some changes are really minor, like what weapon and armor the NPC is wearing. Mostly IA and IW chanes are only this. And is weird like RRR NPCs already came with BOYD code right? :D I am concentrating in making SkyRe patches, maybe you can use it in the guide if want to spare time looking for it. Some are reeeaaally big to just guide in how to pass 2 hours doing it, lol. I may try to contact mod authors if the patch is proven relevant, and people want. In this category falls SkyRe with Radiant Potions mainly, I realized I was really not experiencing Radiant Potions looking at the hundreds of models that SkyRe changed back to vanilla. :( Dude, I played with my mods in tes5edit till 5 in the morning, LOL. I experienced some problems with tes5edit, like some records saving with errors, afterwards I checked all patches and correct the errors, maybe because was a lot of mods opened? Some bug... Oh, and that BOYD-RRR actually does not exist x) I think the patch you cited is the only one that you use both mods.
  15. I love to kick corpses miles away! LOL not that much, but they do fly! You can kick em out a cliff, will be great to have a kick button for that, LOL.
  16. I made a LOT of patches right now. Mostly for Bring out your Dead (with Choice is Yours, RRR, IA6, IW, 3DNPC, and SkyRe). A BLESSING-Choice Patch, Ars Metallica-SkyRe patch, Better Skill Book Names-SkyRe, Cloaks-IA6, a HUGE Destructible Bottles-SkyRe patch, IA6-IW (just some NPC equips), IW-SkyRe, Impact Weapon-Enhanced Blood, and the biggest one, RUPPB-SkyRe patch. And a RLO General Patch, a lot of mods edit cells RLO edit (fog and light stuff), so I made only one esp. Look at that beauty: I will sort them and do a test run. And WOW! It's a lot of trouble put SkyRe, RLO and other BIG mods in your already big list. :) BOYD is the most pain cause it changes a lot of NPCs, as others mods do to. ps.: note that some patches I made are for mods that you have both in SR, maybe I should show you what I did. I may like to discuss about it with you when we have the chance. I learning fast that thing.
  17. Why mod makers insist in make sound mods with an esp? Boomer. =/
  18. Wow! Veeeery nice goigng with Frostfall!
  19. In yellow brighter shiny colors :)
  20. Created a new Automatic Variants patch? If not, it still have SkyTest as a master, and Skyrim will crash at start.Neo you need to clearly state in your guide that every time mods are changed, new patches have to be made (not always in fact, but this police never fail). :)
  21. In an unrelated tough, I think that kind of discussion, could be splitted to incentive creation of threads, and spread the information in SRs sub-forum.
  22. Problem is, old Skyrim versions save MAY conflict with newer Skyrim versions. So, if your clean save is not an old one, it may be ok to test. But definitely even vanilla saves can also be screwed up. Since the vanilla Update and DLCs files are all full of dirty edits and stuff. And that being said, unless is a recent clean save started with a cleaned DLCs and that kind of fancy stuff, is definitely NOT the best comparison tool to use. But hell, that's all only theory. In any case, if you are having CTDs with the 40 level save, and no one with new game, in your place I would blame the save, not the mods. Unfortunately you will have to play a little while to see if you will not have any problems in the future... with Bethesda games is always hard to say... but I can say that staying by these new standards, with cleaned mods, unofficial and dlc updates carried, and all possible conflicts solved, I think you will hardly have any problems. Most problems you may have should present itself soon.
  23. Don't expect to play your lvl 40 saves that you played with different mods, with SR. Even if was a mod free save. Starting fresh with all mods is the best police. 1) No, but a SSD yes, huge help in every area of your computing life, including games and Skyrim. 2) I must do it to play with so much mods and textures. Do it with files in the architecture folder, they are the most beneficial to constrain size. Prioritize constraining size, mods with 2 or 4k are the worst nightmare of ~1GB video cards. 3)For papyrus I use only: I grabbed it in a reliable source on nexus, forget which mod, but one of the SRs. But don't take it as superior truth, just guidance, and look more into.
  24. Well the only reason I see to reject yours mod is because of the lack of a equal nice hair mode. What does not make any justice to your mod IMO. IMO, with the new hair meshes and the AOF hair textures, the hair doesn't look so bad to go with the new beards and brows. Unfortunately all I can give is my support towards see your mod in STEP.
  25. @Kal You found it, nice! Now check the other mods you cleaned and edited with old TES5Edit, you should redo all stuff with the new TES5Edit version. Yes, and he dropped the mod too. It's a shame, such a good modification. But can't stay with CTDs.
