It's been mentioned elsewhere on the forums. I'll be staying with my Windows 7 machine cause I don't like a lot of what I've seen with Windows 10, none the less.

Just read up that Veydosbrom mod and there is no landscape fixes included yet, so a user had issues with a campsite being covered with grass, fireplace and all. That was posted on the 18th. The mod author states he's working on this and is aware of it. The most recent mod file is dated the 16th. Hence: No add till the next edition's done where the mod author fixes that.

You're in the wrong place. SRLE Extended LOTD doesn't run ECTV or ETAC.

I'll have a peek at it if I get a chance this week. I'm still running around on my test char making sure RS Kids isn't borked and the merge is kosher. :) Actually planning on the full on Battlemage this time. Not a spellsword. A Heavy Armor wearing Battlemage/tank type. Might even make them a High Elf who hates the Thalmor, just for the craic.

I think you may have to have a peek at it. I currently don't have Option 1 installed to check. But if anything it would be adding, not subtracting. But why did you want to do it anyway? WSCO has it's own textures in it and they're quite good. In fact WSCO suggests running it straight out by itself. Having said that, tough, it's your game. Have a play and see what you come up with. :)

OK. Cheers. Have done the RDO and RS Children updates. As part of this there's a change to the RS Children merge. Now due to me being insanely busy at work the past month I've not 100% fully confirmed that the new RS Children Merge is kosher. (I am pretty confident, though). Feel free to try and break it if you can. I'll take any help available. Also let me know if you see any oddities. I've not double checked our RS Children SRLE Patch yet for anything that may need changing. I doubt it though as I have it from Ranaline that any pre-existing patches that change non-vanilla children will be OK. Hence the old Falskaar and 3DNPC patches should be fine, along with the ones for Helgen Reborn and Moon and Star etc. I've looked in the usual places where the kids are like Honorhall Orphanage in Riften and around most of the big cities and towns and haven't seen anything glaring as yet. There's a new patch for Maliq from The Forgotten City mod added. It is just meshes and textures, so should be fine to add in later if you're already got a game going. I know there's more mods that have had recent updates and they will follow shortly. Just wanted the big ones out of the way first.

To clarify: are you saying the Billboards in the Miscellaneous section of the mod you have linked above should be installed? With the install instruction to click SFO 1.91 Lods? Please let me know the outcome after you've done what you believe will fix the issue.

The guide update is currently in process. Ie will be done today. There'll be different merge instructions for RS Children as well. I'll get into this as soon as I wake myself up and get some coffee in me.

Are you using Crash Fixes or the SKSE.ini memory setup lines? And Quick saves are notorious for doing this. I never use them.

I've noticed no real major difference between having them packed or unpacked. But as Paul mentions above, YMMV depending on your machine. Some of the ones we suggest you keep packed is because the mod authors have suggested it be kept as such, or an error was encountered when doing so. If you do decide to keep them packed aside from times when we expressly suggest not to, make sure you check the Archives tab in MO and ensure all still packed BSA's are ticked. You really don't want to see what happens if they're not. Trust me, you don't. It's very unpretty. :)

I'd like to add: 6) We suggest extracting BSA's cause on several occasions we recommend files be hidden or deleted cause other ones for the same job are better, etc. You cant do that if they're all in BSA's. I've been extracting BSA's since I stated modding and haven't ever had an issue.

The first one I'll give you London to a brick, you've misspelled the name of the folder in the Stunning Statues of Skyrim install. it's 'statuessnow' note the double s. EDIT: I'll bet they both are from the same place. Check that first.

No. Do the merge, close Merge Plugins, and do the renaming either via MO's filetree tab or via Windows Explorer. No, just use windows explorer and browse to the correct place.

What about Bruma? I think I've explained enough by now that the guide is getting too large and if anyone wants to have us add Bruma it'll need something else to go out. We have enough quest mods in the guide already. To be honest I think I might ask for this thread to be locked as I believe we have more than enough suggestions. We can't satisfy everybody. Thanks for the suggestions to date and if things change we may reopen the thread. Mods, Someone please lock this thread but if possible leave it pinned. Thanks.

With RDO, yeah go for it, looks pretty much plug and play. However note with this new version the patches are now rolled into the main file installer, so there's only the need to grab the main file. I haven't updated the guide yet cause I want to do everything at once. I'm testing RS Children as the install and merge instructions will need to change and changes to patches may need to be made.

It would need a lot of changes to be made. It's essentially going to overwrite a lot of stuff we already use. Looks like it's almost a 'One Stop Shop' sort of mod. I may take a peek at it on a test profile, but it wont be added to this guide. Maybe for some other guide.
