SKYRIMLE SRLE extended LOTD. Suggestions for new additions.

There is a Forsworn one out there if I recall. Just can't find it for now, but if I recall correctly it's mentioned in the comments for one of the two mods I mentioned. -

Given Xenius has taken XCE down: reposted from the main thread. There's a couple of good warpaint mods out there. I'll do some research and see if any include the HD versions of the vanilla ones. EDIT: at a very quick glance: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34331/? and https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/67147/? I actually like the second one cause it makes the warpaints look more like they were handpainted. -

Oh no, if you're happy to put it in, I'm fine about it being there. :) My willingness to use it or not shouldn't matter. It is a good mod, after all. :) -

If it does, I probably won't use it. I'm not a fan of it. But that's my personal opinion. -

With a few of what you've suggested Maximan, some have been in the guide in the past, like Revenge of the Enemies, for one. It was removed before I got on board to Darth might have to answer as to why. With some of that UI stuff, I actually think the UI mods may be better left as options, since I really like the UI appearance as it now is per guide. To each their own, of course. Which is why I intend to do an options page. People can use whatever they wish to custom stuff as they wish. My idea would be, the guide has X as it's default UI. If you wish a more Dark Souls feel, try Y. If you want some other feel try Z etc. -

For the record so it doesn't get mentioned for a third time. Verdant.esp should be above Darkwater Crossing.esp. We merge the Verdant.esp as part of the Trees and Flora Merge.esp. We know about this one and will loot at LOOT rules, though my current load order places the merged esp above Darkwater Crossing.esp anyway. -

Yes we're aware. It has been mentioned a few pages back. The easy fix is to remove any LOOT rule for the Trees and Flora merge plug in that the Verdant.esp is a part of. -

Please don't C and P mod descriptions like that. If you want to suggest a mod, there's a thread for that. A link and a quick pitch why you think it should be added is enough. -

There's a 'Filter for Conflict Losers' option which is often a good start. And then you can right click on the right hand pane and set to hide non conflict rows. That should thin it out a lot for you. Another option is to 'Apply Filter" and select only: Conflict and Critical Conflict in the top left box plus the two 'flatten' options down the bottom and the Conflict Status Inherited by parent option. That's what I tend to use. Others may have different ideas. -

Xedit is your friend here. Load up the load order, let it run through. Then you can apply the filter for conflict losers and take a look especially at any esps that are added by new mods. If anything conflicts, you'll see it show up. Just remember: Not everything has to be green in xedit for stuff to work OK for one. Try not to delete records in xedit, MOST of the time you can grab stuff from the columns to the left and drop it into your patch esp, and them move stuff around to get the desired outcome. Having MFG Console in is helpful for finding those occasional little things like flying candles or lanterns, multiple things trying to fit in the same place etc. -

No idea. Not seen it before. However I have an unwritten law that I won't add anything that's not sort of reached a close to final development status. The easy way would be add it then take a peek in xedit and see what it's overwriting etc. -

Was there another dragon around at the time? I've heard of that happening if two happen two spawn in the same cell, and I'm fairly sure it's vanilla as I've heard of it happening on the X-Bone version. -

Having your downloads directory on your 1 TB drive isn't going to hurt anything and will save you room. I suggest you do it. Alternatively, once you have everything downloaded and all's working, just delete the downloads directory. All that means is you won't be able to reinstall quickly and would have to re-download. Your call. It's easy to do on your MO setup. There's another thread below for mod additions. We'd like to keep that thread for that and this thread for the discussion of issues etc. Drop your suggestion in there if you'd be so kind. :) Cheers! -

While godescalus has used Wyre Bash, I don't recommend it. You're likely to be better off staying with MO seeing how you've come this far, and relocate your downloads directory as I mentioned above. -

It was removed cause ApolloDown removed all his mods from the Nexus and any copies you can find online were other people uploading it elsewhere. If you want to use it, fine, but you're going to have to iron out any issues yourself is all. -

The same thing I always say: If you want to remove mods, that's fine. If you want to replace mods that's also fine. We provide the list of mods as a GUIDE as how we like to mod things. If you like our basic thrust but want to add your own flavour that's perfectly fine and none of me, Lexy or Darth will complain. It's your game, play it how you like. Now having said that: There's no real way we're likely to be able to support EVERY single possible way people like to change things. Sure, ask us in here, we'll try and answer based on our knowledge and best estimates. But you probably WILL have to do a little bit of patching of your own accord. Learning how to fix your own issues is a good thing, in all seriousness. xEdit may look daunting, but a lot of it is common sense and being willing to take your time and not rush. Maximan: With your situation I'd ask: Where are you saving your downloaded mods? Is it on the 120Gig SSD? If so, I suggest moving the download directory to a discrete platter hard drive. I save my downloads to my 2 TB drive and change MO's downloads directory to point to that. My Skyrim Mod Downloads directory currently sits at 38 Gig. If you can move that somewhere you'll be good.
