  1. I should also point out that I'm using option 2 of the NPC retextures, and grabbed the already merged file and patch from the Nexus link. When I did just the SRLE Extended, I didn't have this problem at all, and I'm wondering if it's perhaps something to do with that?
  2. OK, I've got the load order all worked out, and I'm figuring that the LARGEST problem that I'm having is still with the followers. I KNOW something is up with it, I just can't figure out exactly what it is. However, I think that for some reason values aren't being passed onto the followers, which is making them overpowered. When I use EFF to check out the Armor, for instance, it says they have 200 armor , even tho it's just leather, and the values of each armor piece adds up to 45! Any ideas? They're two to three shotting enemies that would likely take me dozens of hits to take down. I REALLY want to use followers (not going crazy with them), but there's something there that I'm just not seeing.
  3. My load order is somewhat different from Darths, and I'm using LOOT. Anyone else running into this, and is this something that I should be concerned about? Any way to easily get his load order mirrored in mine? Most things are working fine, just running into one or two glitches that I think will be resolved by solving the load order (I just don't want to go about moving 200+ plugins manually! lol)
  4. I just changed the difficulty settings, made it so NPCs and myself dealt the same damage, and reduced the number of followers :-) So, I guess it's fixed! Lol Anyone have any idea if V17 of Legacy of the Dragonborn is worth upgrading to? My built is mostly stable for now, and I'm contemplating making zero changes, so I can go from the beginning to the end of it, and have fun, instead of spending my time upgrading ordanitor and legacy, etc! Lol In regards to Darth_Mathias, work comes first, and congratulations for that! I appreciate all the work you've put into this, it's giving me a great deal of pleasure, even tho I'm only level four currently! Lol It looks beautiful, many deaths are the only thing currently crashing my game (although I got a .nif crash the other day, but reloading fixed it. Looked to be from Immersive Creatures). It's allowing me to play it in the best possible way, and thanks so much for that! I'm with you, hoping for SKSE64 soon, although it'll likely be many months away! Perhaps some time away will make the game more fun for you when you come back, tho! Again, thanks so much for all this hard work. Means the world to me, and you have given me many hours of pleasure!
  5. I've been going through my playthrough, and all seems ok, but I'm running into a problem with followers. I'm playing on Master, and when it's me vs bandits, etc. It's a rough fight, but whenever I bring along NPCs they just shred through everyone. Anyone else getting this, and how do I go about fixing this? I'm wondering if it isn't Wildcat, making it so that my followers do increased damage as well as the enemies?
  6. I found the culprit. The values were different on the NPC retexture conflict resolution ESP, so I just forwarded the values from the merge patch onto the conflict resolution, and all good!
  7. I finished everything up, and the game boots (which is a GREAT start! lol). I started in the college of winterhold, and have found that Brelynya looks VERY odd, her textures are obviously not being forwarded (I used option 2 on NPC retextures). I've taken a look around, and others look fine, it's in particular her. Any thoughts?
  8. So, I only realized this the other day, and had to share. The main reason I have avoided using this pack is, when i looked at it, I was under the impression that it removed a number of mods from SRLE. I NEVER understood that it was in addition to those mods, and was put out by a lot of the mods I've enjoyed being removed! >.< I feel like such a noob! Lol
  9. REALLY looking forward to trying out this mod combo! Thanks for the previous answer :-D One more question for whomever! Is there a particular difficulty setting for this mod combo that people suggest? I come from Requiem, and enjoy the challenge, should that affect anything :-) I WANT it to be very difficult, and my hope is to bring a couple followers along, to make it do-able, but not easy.
  10. I was initially a bit hesitant to use this, as I didn't want to try Ordinator, and I liked Loot and Degradation, but as I'm starting anew (all new pic baby!) , I thought I'd give it a shot! In many ways I like what Darth has done to expand things even more than Neo , Arthmoores villages, for example. Now, onto the question! At the beginning it states start with your base SRLE, but as that hasn't been updated in quite a while, and mods have been altered since then, is someone keeping an updated version somewhere that I can follow, so I have a base to work from?   11. Unfortunately not! However, when I played around with the Vivid MCM settings, I was able to set interior to a darker setting. So, while every once in a while there's a pretty big light going on, it's VERY few and far between, so I'm doing ok! :-) Thanks for the suggestion!
  12. I've been doing an install of SRLE, after an absence of about a year. Things are going well (I've made it to the end of the new characters section), and I go in to test the game as I'm doing each section. I usually start in whiterun, and have noticed that when I go into Dragonsreach at night, it's still quite light indoors, with sunlight shining into the windows. It's not the case with all indoors , but it's true of Jorvasskr as well. anyone run into this problem, and is it actually a problem? I've checked all the lighting mods, and I'm fairly certain I've installed them correctly! I figure this isn't something that needs the entire mod list installed to fix, as all lighting mods and patches have been installed. Can anyone help out, please? I LOVE the immersion in this mod list, but this sort of hurts it for me
  13. I've been doing a requiem play through using the old patches, and so I know the Closefaced helmets will need a patch. It works fine for NPCs , and for items that you make, but with the tempering added in, when you wear a tempered item from an NPC, your face disappears in the helmet. It's just annoying, but it's a similar problem to SIC and Improved close faced helmets. I figure the patches that will be least needed will be the patches for armour and weapons, as the reproccer will fix that issue. So far I've had no crashes, so that's pretty good! I'm running a Skyrim Revisited with Requiem 8.1.1 and STEP REGS as well.
  14. I found out sort of what it was, but still uncertain how to fix it! It's part of the ELFX SMIM patch, and when I install it with the ELFX SMIM fix, it creates the purple lanterns, but if I DON'T install the SMIM fix, only the core files, it's fine, and I can see the lanterns. Unsure why the issues
  15. Unfortunately a full reinstall of ELFX didn't fix the trick. I think it's something with ELFX AND realistic room rentals, so need to figure that out somehow
  16. It appears the lanterns affected are from ELFX , so not sure what is going down there! I've installed the SMIM meshes, but they still be purple
  17. Remember when I said it was probably something stupid? Yeah, ignore the second one, it's been fixed, thanks to pointing out something simple! lol Just need to figure out the lanterns, and we should be good, at least to start!
  18. Two minor issues after I've gone through the entire setup (which is odd, as I haven't run into these the other times I've installed SR LE) 1) For lanterns on buildings they are purple (meaning no images attached, correct?) 2) when starting a new character, the presets go all the way up to 40, but they don't change the character (meaning I only have the starting option for men and women, and must manually change it). Not the end of the world, but I'm betting I did something silly Any ideas? With the new system I must play Skyrim again!

I'm having the exact same pattern, and right after I upgraded to premium so I could get all the files re-downloaded and put into MO without having to Query (which is fine, but only works sometimes). Eastern Canada for me. Nexus seems fickle at the best of times, and I suppose we are at the worst of times currently!
  20. I'm waiting for a new computer to install skyrim again, but as of last month it worked fine with MO! I had the reproccers going through SUM and MO and while it took a little bit of time to run (partially due to my computer, of course) it all worked well. The one thing about SUM, though (and I used it due to using ASIS, Enchants and Dual Sheath) you need to re-sort masters for SUM.esp each time you run the reproccer
  21. Question about OBIS as it relates to SRLE. Have the unofficial patches been tried, or should I stick to 161C? In the posts, there's links to a file (161G) that apparently fixes the MCM menu, as well as a couple of little things. I think it will eventually get posted as the author of the mod is back and posting again, but it was changed while he was away. Just wondering!
  22. I sort of derailed a thread with this conversation last time, but SkyRe has a successor called PerMa , and it's apparently a couple of weeks from going to alpha. It SHOULD be less intrusive than SkyRe, and deal primarily with perks
  23. Oh yeah, on my last play through I had OBIS and ASIS, it was pretty amazing! I've gone through those cell edits myself, it makes a HUGE difference, I'm so glad they put in the ELE stuff. Looks amazing!
  24. I know this isn't fully in with this topic, but I recall a similar one involving ASIS, and just wanted to say that they've released a beta of it if y'all are interested! With ASIS, SkyRe is better (all the baddies get the perks, which is amazing).
  25. There are aspects of ACE that I don't totally agree with (casting stances, combat stances, etc). Not that I think they're bad ideas , simply that they haven't fully activated them, so I'd rather not deal with them or get the full service! If you're just using the perk module there's no problem at all. I think there's better enemy AI and Combat overhauls out there, as well as better magic and smithing modules. So, as an overhaul, I think SkyRe gets the job done better (and Requiem), but as part of a bundle, it does a great job with the combat stuff! In regards to ACE combat, most of the patches will have to do with ACE Archery, which adds short and long bows. If you don't use ACE archery, you won't need the patches. Conversely, most of the weapon mods seem to have patches available, so I'm not sure it's much of an issue!
