Hmmm....I don't play with that (just immersive weapons and immersive armour), so I didn't know about that incompatibility. I'd actually swap ACE before the others, but I haven't found a combat perk overhaul that I'd be ok with. Most Combat overhauls fix Light and Heavy armour (making like harder to maximize than heavy), and fix the combat perks so they're more effective. If there's another that does those two things, I'd sign up for it!

It's not nearly as bad as SkyRe, I swear! Because SkyRe changed the stats on all armour and weapons, along with lots of other things, it ended up needing to be patched. To be THAT guy, I might suggest using smithing perk overhaul instead of the ACE smithing perk tree (I'm not as much a fan of it!) ACE is very modular, so while it's technically an overhaul you don't need to install all aspects(and I wouldn't). the others just affect Perks , so shouldn't conflict with too much

Oh, and also forgotten magic redone. I haven't played with that one yet (and have played with the others) , but it looks to have some really cool magic elements to it, and I find many of the spell additions in mods to kind of destroy the game after a short period of time by making things just a little too powerful.

Yeah, called PerMa. Go to the SkyRe nexus page, the sticky at the top has a link to his Facebook page that he's using to talk about it! I'm waffling a bit on it, from what I'm reading it seems to be needlessly complicated. I think a lot of people don't realize that if you make something simple and elegant, it will be a lot more fun than something hugely complicated.

To add in my two cents, with SIC/HLE/Enemy AI , perhaps with a perk overhaul or two and a combat overhaul, it really does duplicate SkyRe without a lot of the patching issues. I played SkyRe a lot, and am looking forward to the new version later on this year, but I don't think it's nearly as necessary as it once was! Also, +1 on the REGS! That seems SO much more complex , but definitely appreciate all your work on it so far!

SRLE + SkyRe: working with the Reproccer WIP
Defaulteduser replied to ipmlj's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports (retired)
I don't have the build anymore as I'm waiting on my new system, but I DO recall that the key to getting the ICH post patch to work is in what is visible when wearing the helm. In the ICH esp it just has head displayed, but the SUM esp has head, neck, jewellery, etc. That's where the screw up happens! Sorry I can't be exact, hopefully that makes some sense :-) -
SRLE + SkyRe: working with the Reproccer WIP
Defaulteduser replied to ipmlj's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports (retired)
I've done this on my last install and had it running alright. I got around the ICFH by adding my own esp at the end that has the proper data forwarded from the patch for ICFH and SkyRe (that appeared to have been overwritten by the reproccer patch). If there's any difficulty you have, let me know as well. I'd be happy to help in any way I can, and am looking to get this up and running again when I reinstall on my new system! -
Playing at last ... but not perfect.

Malouz, I too had the nudity problem (although it was met with much amusement by my girlfriend, who then begged me not to fix it), and from what I can recall it's a clothing and clutter fixes issue with the bashed patch (or that was the case for me). From my memory clothing and clutter fixes adds hoods and robes instead of hooded robes, but sometimes that means the npcs only equip the hoods INSTEAD of the hoods and robes :-P I use ASIS for extra spawns and was met with about a dozen naked mages with hoods in a dungeon. Frightening to be sure. Hope that helps! -

One thing to remember if using ASIS, make sure to turn off extra spawns in the other mods, otherwise you get 30 wolves from Immersive creatures and ASIS at times! lol -

for the ASIS spawns I removed the 4 and 5 spawns numbers, I was running into situations where at lvl 14 the city was getting attacked by 5 Vampire Masters! With the increased spawns for 0,1,2 and 3 I found more than enough people still. I think my favourite time was in a bandit camp (near Whiterun) where when I made it to the Bandit Chief there were 2, one sitting, one reading standing at the desk. It was pretty epic, and looked as if the game had added it in. For Draugr and such, I run into extra units, but each time I go through the dungeon I run into different units in different places, so it's pretty fresh. That, and the fact that the bandits from OBIS properly cast their spells (oak flesh, sometimes dual cast flames, sometimes run in with a sword and spell). When one of their companions dies some of them cast resurrection on them. Pretty cool. I'm using the beta version of ASIS where you can change spawns, potions, etc. in MCM -
I've been using it along with LE , but am getting a new computer and thinking of using a different overhaul. SkyRe , in the end, I found had just as many perk sinks as it stated it fixed (you could easily find yourself putting 20+ perks in Enchanting just to get all the benefits), and pretty much all the special perks I found myself leaving off til later, so likely won't miss them in the end. SPERG I found to have too FEW perks, as it wasn't nearly as exciting to level and decide how you wanted to get more powerful, as a lot of it already happened for you. I think I might use ACE combat along with a magic overhaul, and possibly a sneak overhaul to just get each area perfect. With ASIS, Immersive Creatures, High Level Enemies, OBIS, Revenge of the Enemies, and a few others that add depth I've found that all is needed is something like Duel instead of an overhaul to give yourself a completely new game! Still waiting on the SkyRe successor to see if it's going to do the job , but totally agree with sweeper240, it became fruitless in the end, and with the reproccer (along with SO MANY PATCHES) it ends up complicating things greatly. Sorry, I get the feeling I avoided your question. I WAS able to get SkyRe working properly (for the most part) with SR:LE. It required many, many patches and there were some aspects that I'd likely go in to fix up some more (CCO has issues with it, in addition to ICF). With patches created it's possible to get it working though. I did still have some CTDs, but I can't say if that's SkyRe, SR:LE , or a number of the other mods that I installed (werewolf and vampire overhaul mods, etc.)

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

I had used the populated mods for a bit, but ended up removing them, as I found there to be TOO many bandits involved. Bleak Falls Barrow, for instance, I found extremely difficult to get into, even though it's an early quest. I just use ASIS with OBIS, Immersive Creatures, High Level Enemies and Revenge of the Enemies. I get a lot of value out of it (although it's sometimes difficult to get them all working nicely together). It is great, however, to be surprised when going into a room by extra Draugr, bandits, wolves or what have you, so you don't want in with too much prior knowledge. -
wanted Installing ASIS and SkyRe with some additional stuff
Defaulteduser replied to Iroha's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
I've just installed the majority of the Legendary edition along with SkyRe, ASIS, and a few others as well (Revenge of the Enemies). While the conflicts are onerous to go through, and often mods are overwriting other mods for no good reason, once you get through all the clutter it's absolutely worth it. It creates such a different experience. That being said, at level 2 I ran into a briar heart that appeared to be moving at super speed. He dual wielded, and pretty much wrecked myself and Uthgerd (again, we were level 2, so it's not that hard a task!) I'm going to fiddle some more, but I'm not sure you can get it to the place where it's an EASY install, but it's a worthwhile install.
