  1. And I have not - I'm at 129
  2. Only the mods that are in the guide - what's the limit?
  3. Starting the 4GB launcher outside of MO works perfectly fine - it loads up the game without giving me an empty NCR trooper screen, and it doesn't go to launcher.
  4. I did that. Still goes to launcher instead of NVSE.
  5. Hey there. Sorry for having been childish - long week full of unfortunate events, venting here was inappropriate. I've been trying to get this to work for a while on my own and only came here today because I was at an impasse. I checked every step of properly installing the 4GB loader, but whatever I do, it keeps going to the launcher instead of NVSE. I do NOT understand why. My specs:Processor - Intel Core i5-3230M CPU @ 2.60 GHz Quad-CoreRAM: 4.00 GB (3.84 GB useable)Video Card 1: Intel HD Graphics 4000 128 MB Dedicated Memory 1.7 GB Total MemoryVideo Card 2: NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 2.0 GB Dedicated Memory 3.6 GB Total MemoryOS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit
  6. Yeah, now the 4GB loader doesn't load NVSE anymore, and when I try starting the game, it freezes on the main screen. I give up. Can't do it.
  7. Tried doing all of that, and while looking at my .ini files in MO, I found what might be the root of all evil - both .ini files look exactly the same, as if some idiot (me) accidentally copied one into the other without noticing. What do I do?
  8. I recently installed all of F&LNV by the book, including creating texture optimization for the big mods and the FNV textures themselves. So I start the game, and immediately notice that while the menus work just fine, everything animation-wise about the game (movement is especially bad in conversations) is incredibly slow. Unplayable, really. My laptop isn't exactly a monster rig, but I had not anticipated it being so bothered by it, especially since it runs Skyrim Revisited with ENB without a hitch. I am at wit's end. I tried ditching the big texture mods, thinking they might slow the game down the most, but that did nothing. Sorry for bothering you, Ygg
  9. I picked exactly the wrong time to install REGS on top of SR-LE :(Can't continue with the modding process because I don't have the 12.1 of ETaC, so I'm just gonna have to wait.
  10. Will do! Thanks for the help. It's really appreciated :)
  11. Alright, I fixed it! Apparently, it had deleted all my user rules when I reinstalled BOSS. Still can't find JIP Realistic Weapon Overheating.esp, everything else is found.
  12. The BOSS User Rules Manager doesn't show any User Rules whatsoever. Dunno if that's what you're talking about.
  13. I can't get my masterlist to update :( It still has 25 unregistered plugins, whatever I do. I followed your guide to the letter. EDIT: My current masterlist is called 56af7a184, if that's any help.
  14. Hey there mate, wonderful project! I do have a bit of a problem that I can't wrap my head around. BOSS doesn't find YUP - Base Game + All DLC.esm FCOMaster.esm JIP Realistic Weapon Overheating.esp Reload Speed Game Start Fix.esp FCO - Roberts Patch.esp FCO.esp FCO Melissa Fix.esp TrooperOverhaul-Dragbody.esp 1nivVSLArmors.esp 1nivPNSLPatch.esp Tutorial Killer.esp Tutorial Killer - Factions.esp FCO - Willow.esp in its masterlist. What am I doing wrong? EDIT: After re-installing BOSS, there are now MORE unrecognized plugins than before :(
  15. English/History major here. Most of these changes are, honestly, fairly terrible. Not that Skyrim's conversation system is in any way perfect, but this is "I, Claudius" levels of ridiculous. Is your character a pompous clown living in the 19th century thinking he's talking like a medieval king of old? Because that's what it sounds like. It actually sounds more out of place half the time, not only for Skyrim, but for actual "old-school" English. Just my two cents, Ygg
  16. I know what you mean - just when I finally get around to working with MO and installing some of the packs, they shut down EVERYTHING. I'm really looking forward to SR:LE, stalking the User page in unhealthy ways xD
  17. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/38539/? Another large-scale texture overhaul, officially endorsed by our dear friend CabaL. From the few pictures provided, it looks quite nice to say the least, but I'm currently unable to test it further. Just thought it might be something we keep an eye on.
  18. I use the normal version of STEP, plus very few additional quests, though this also happens with pure STEP. My world map is not showing any miscellaneous quest markers, not a single one. I have no idea why that is, and it's pretty godsdamn annoying.
  19. I second that. It's bonkers impressive in terms of scale and quite well executed. It's the author's first work, but I like it so far.
  20. v1.2 was released earlier today. Changelog: Fixed some messages ending with two periods. Changed a few quest-related messages. Changed a few unused(?) messages which could potentially called by other mods. Changed a few lesser-used or only once-used messages.
  21. That might explain why it completely murdered my recent game. Too bad I was too hasty in just re-installing Skyrim completely.
  22. Now that I got a better PC, STEP works just fine in its complete form. You can't imagine how good that feels. Anyway, I am quite interested (ehehe) in Interesting NPCs - I find it well-done and a welcome addition to my Skyrim experience. Which is where we come to my question. Is there anything that would keep me from using INPCs with STEP? -Ygg
  23. Discussion thread: Trade and Barter by kryptopyr Wiki Link This mod is brought to you by kryptopyr, who is responsible for such mods as The Choice is Yours and Thieves Guild Requirements - both of which are already part of S.T.E.P. According to the author, it's highly modifiable, compatible with every mod that does not alter VendorGold or PerkInvestor leveled lists. What Trade and Barter does is introducing Trading Variables, changing the way vendors behave towards you (including such immersive factors as racial bias and location); allowing to modify merchant gold, restocking time and trade-related perks; and allowing to modify how bartering works. I don't see why we shouldn't at least check it out and see if it fits our project. Accepted for STEP v2.2.6 - Notes: Recommend installing the mod and activating the .esp, but not clicking "start mod" in the MCM options. -- thanks to kryptopyre for adapting a solution for Core STEP to apply only the fixes at this time. -- Thanks to Eliian for creating the mod page
  24. As I understand it, those are special puddles created for Windhelm only, where the temperatures would cause puddles to freeze over slightly.
