  1. I was thinking the safer way might be to use scripts to add the backpacks, but since F&L uses a Bashed Patch I guess it should work that way too.
  2. Not that much time today, but I can take care of any necessary changes tomorrow. Changed the ADAM instructions to include the hotfix.
  3. I've recreated the SoL - PN backpack mod from scratch without changing any of the formids or deleting the aviator glasses. Probably gonna add them to the PN leveled lists like the original mod did too, but I'm really tired (and fairly drunk) and I can't figure out why the G.E.C.K. won't let me add the SoL stuff to the PN leveled item, so here's the plugin for now, and at least it should make everything work properly. https://mega.nz/#!UMckVZgC!p0I4LoQcUT8dU7wlMG-xCOOg1uls8cQULhCLLblMu9s
  4. Hey, darkside! I misunderstood Mega when I created the link and thought link without key meant it was unencrypted. Here are the two links with the encryption key included: https://mega.nz/#!tccV0RbC!3jwIPK_OGugBLdUEF1w5cUU8efqJAHKH7hkrR8Wsc1s https://mega.nz/#!kRkEyTCJ!NcWc2C_hev2myUZg3CK-7v-Rj_M_5c9iHoSsaH7QZes Sorry about that. I'm probably gonna upload the custom Project Nevada plugin over the weekend, which removes the Ranger Recon Armors (and the other recon equipment that's present in the Advanced Recon mod, so that there's not two of everything) so you won't have to have Rangers walking around with those flat black and grey versions when they should be wearing ADAM's version, and the changes to the .44 Pistol so it uses Millenia's Desert Eagle. Can't recall whether I made it use .50 AE right now though. Will change the links then too.
  5. Heya, Audley. I'm no expert, but have you tried downloading from incognito mode (it disables any addons)? Also, does this change at all if you reset your router and try to download immediately afterwards? That last part is just making a guess from issues I've been experiencing myself. Do you have any QoS (quality of service) settings on your router?
  6. Yes, you'll want the updated plugin. Only install the complete .esp though.
  7. Don't worry about that. It won't have any adverse effects. Will probably have some free time on thursday to fix the PN-SoL Backpack mod, and look into the Nuka Cola Machine thing.
  8. That's just a light. All lights FNV (or other Bethesda games) are just a glow effect emitted from a certain point. My guess, without looking at it, is that they were flickering lights (most of the vending machine lights in the game are) and perhaps that they had shadows, which means you're probably right about the added toll on your GPU. Glad you worked it out anyhow.
  9. Glad to hear that! Hope everything else works out as well.
  10. I'm no load order expert, but the .esps I recognize among your .esms are plugins tagged as master files. The rest of your mods looks like they're sorted all right too, and in any case there's very little point to going back to BOSS with its older master list.
  11. The messages not popping up in the same order probably has to do with (dummy) quest scripts set to run during GAMEMODE (any time when the menu isn't open) once, and then end the related (dummy) quest. A lot of them could have the same priority (I always set mine to 50, for example) so what messages pop up is randomized because the related scripts run in a random order. Not having the flash light in your inventory could be because a related script doesn't run all the way through, or some other happenstance that was unforeseen by the author. Kinda hard to read a lot into that without knowing how he set up the mod in the first place. The thing with the clouds is normal. I suspect it's a game engine limitation, but in the end it's nothing to worry about. Hey, in the Capital Wasteland it didn't even rain. I quote the Nevada Skies description: Have you set the following in your nvse_config.ini? [Memory] DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=400
  12. Mine is 518 MB and contains both textures and meshes. Have you remembered to install the FNVLODGen Resources file and move it above JIP NVSE Plugin in MO's left pane?
  13. For some reason I though you were the author of that mod Ess, oops.
  14. It doesn't add any more vending machines. Yes, I play with hardcore mode. I find it makes the game much more immersive for me.
  15. That looks terrific! I'm glad you found something you liked. ::
  16. Sorry for not responding earlier, I had to check it out for myself. Seems like SRB accidentaly deleted some of the Rayban Glasses when making his patch. I've brought the issue to his attention, but I'd recommend you untick the mod in MO (and use the original plugin) for now.
  17. Most of the plugins that have been in the guide for a while will have correct LOOT reports, only a few of the new ones might have slipped under the radar. Don't clean the ones it tells you not to clean, with the exception being Wasteland Flora Overhaul which you can clean with a version of FNVEdit newer than 3.1.1.
  18. I haven't encountered any issues with using the console. I'm glad you like the game, and sorry you're encountering so many bugs. Does the console work when the UI freezes? Does hiding and unhiding the menu (using the "tm" command) help? Might be the Readius mod, but there's no real way of telling beyond testing with and without it.
  19. LOOT's reports on dirty mods are based on user reports. Not too much activity there with everyone off playing FO4. Clean the merged plugin.
  20. I have a lot of edge flickering no matter what setup I use. Downsampling has helped a bit, but not much. I just use ENB AA + downsampling from the AMD Radeon Control Panel. It was really annoying at first, but when it was between that or not having ambient occlusion at all I kinda learned to live with it. The only thing that helped was temporal AA in the Skyrim ENB, but that was never added to the FNV version, and had some ghosting issues either way. Haven't encountered that pip-boy bug before, do you play with the Steam overlay? That's know to cause issues with ENB.
  21. No need to use downsampling if you don't have issues with aliasing, it only taxes your performance more. I just mentioned it because our framerates are directly comparable even though my native resolution is 1920x1080. @monyarm: I've had it in my profile for several months but never actually tested it in game.
  22. I do. Haven't made the switch to RWLE yet, but I think it's only some difference in tone. Have to admit I forgot that it was made with NS in mind.
  23. You tried Old World ENB, darkside? I get a stable 60 FPS with downsampling (rendering at 2560x1440) and SweetFX. Put LOD additions and improvements after game tweaks. Keep them both active after running FNVLODGen. Can confirm the FCO issue here as well. Drumber isn't likely to update FCO any time soon so we should probably just include instructions to rename the file.
  24. You can't really blame a game built on such an old engine for having issues with such a large amount of mods, but like Grant I haven't had any large issues that weren't caused by my own messing around with things. These games are always going to have a larger bug list than most games because of the amount of freedom afforded the player and the fact that they imitate reality to some extent (Radiant AI). If the casino mod gives you issues, switch to the one with a smaller population, I personally use the light one myself in any case (as I thought the casinos had way too many people compared to the rest of the game with the other versions). Think Audley's advice here is pretty good. You could try disabling the Steam Overlay as well. I personally avoid that anyways as it causes ENB transparency issues.
