UGh Goddammit I love it. The Problem is now picking and choosing sets between Snow and Rocks and This. -

Chances of that are slim since most ENB Profiles completely overwrite another. Other than the brightness of the eyes the eyes themselves are okay. Skyrim looks dull in color because it's SUPPOSED to be dull in color. So when we're reviewing this, remember that we're doing in for the sake of making sure that it fits Skyrim as a game, and Skyrim has a really washed out and drab colorset, even with the characters and eyes.
-
Too bright, you don't need to brighten the eyes that much when the game can brighten them pretty well on their own, ESPECIALLY with ENB.

STability for this mod has increased Dramatically, I no longer fall over to the 20FPS's and usually can stay constant to the 30's and 40's even DURING The Helgan Cutscenes.

Yeah, I doubt that Orcs will wait nail polish either, especially with their very japanese (As you said.) Warrior styled backgrounds. And while the Imperials do INDEED represent Romans, they represent romans AFTER they were already taken over by Europe, which pretty much marred their way of life. (That's what I believe the Forsworn are made to represent.) Again, it's timeline friends as in the timeline that Skyrim was based on it actually existed and makes some sense, it's just isn't really LORE Friendly in terms of what Skyrim was going for, which is what STEP is about. I'm just stating what others MIGHT have a problem with in terms of what Lore and such is about. Yes we're here to have fun with a game we love (Which is why I'm not exactly raging at this mod, It's not a bad mod at all.). But For STEP, I don't think it should be consider. Long story short. Cool mod, just not exactly lore friendly due to Skyrim Limitations. (Other mods notwithstanding, which sadly won't be included in STEP either.)

So according to these depending on the culture nail polish was either reserved for higher classes or it was for everybody and it was used to symbolize the class (black for the higher class down to green for the lower classes). To that, I can add that during roman times women were so much after beautification that they used to use lead, which is poisonous (granted they didn't know at that time), to "better" themselves. We're talking about Middle Age Europe not BC China and Egypt, The act of cosmetics changes from Era to Era, Females in Middle Age europe for example loved pale skin and tend to go through drastic measures to do so. blonde hair was also in at the time as well. Even back then they're were certain things that were in or not. So one cultures cosmetic choice would certainly not be another, unless it explicitly states that they shared cosmetic choices with other cultures (China Introducing Europeans to the toothbrush for examples.) Using OTHER Culture cosmetics history doesn't work that way. The Reason Malachite was used for Nail polish was not only that it didn't need OIL, but it was also safer and common, that's why I said that unless you work HARD for it, Medieval Europeans would probably not be rocking nail polish, and back then As you can plainly see with the link above, they were more about facial cosmetics and not exactly nails.

Hell I'll go as far as to say Nuska with Vanilla HD Normals are well done, I'll post pics in a moment' Nuska Default Nuska with XCE Normals Geez I have to get used to the forum setup here. It's Subtle but it get's rid of many of the shinyness with the Nuska Realskin, but also adds Nuska awesome reddened texture which I think for a Tundra of Skyrim works very well since it is cold and all.
-
I use Nuska's Women, HOWEVER, I tend to use XCE's Normal Maps to get a bit more wrinkles in, though I don't think ALL of the females in Skyrim need to look like wrinkled messes. Which is why Custom NPC Mods might be needed to alter The NPC's in the game to have wrinkles and such accordingly. I'd use EEO if it was ONLY for female Elves in terms of morphs. It's obvious that Skyrim's beards are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too hard to scope if you edit the Morphs.
-
Nail polish only came mostly in shades of green because of the abundance of malachite. It's Lore Friendly Sure, but only Non Royal people would have anything other than a green shade.
-
Nuska is a girl dude. Also, There is one for guys done by a different person, but in the same style. EDIT: Deathwing got to it first.

I'm not sure how much people actually like Texture replacers here, but I think this face Replacer for Women is a definite look at. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/28645 Nuska finally bellied up and released some Face Texture Mods, which I think is pretty damn good for Skyrim, Not beautiful, but just tough enough to fit the faces. Though I am going to guess that this is not what STEP is looking for right?

I won't delete it.  What do you think this is, the Nexus!? HAHA! That made me laugh! If by illegal then you mean by law, then No, it's not. Since it is a derivative work, and was a mod for another game, there is no law that forbids you by the Bethesda EULA that says you CANNOT share it. If you mean against the RULES, and is unethical, then certainly. I completely agree that is is unethical. I guess a judge could decide if it's "deviated" enough to be protected by copyright; thus, making it illegal. (Derivative Art Rights) Which, since it was merely a retexture of something that was already in the game, and NOT an Original Deviation of anything from the game itself. It probably won't be considered a completely deviated work. That's why I said that Illegal it might not be, It doesn't deviate from Skyrim at all, and since it's a replacer it's even more so. it's certainly unethical to share it, but illegal is highly debatable. Also, You have to take the Bethesda EULA Into account.

I don't mind testing it myself, I haven't used iHUD in a while, and I was downloading Climates of Tamriel for a Test as well (Not sure if all of the errors were fixed.) EDIT To Summarize, Besidilo is absolutely right, Add IHUD back in, because it seemed to be looking damned well with the Addition of SkyUI. The Mod Configuration Menu works well too.

My apologies, I'll continue as normal.

********! It is probably one of the most well known Texture Mods next to Skyrim HD, which was only rated higher because it was FIRST. I can talk about support all I want because I SUPPORTED YOU. And Yes, By LAW, if you distribute anything that derives from Skyrim, that can only work FOR Skyrim, It must be by their EULA, their RIGHTS. FOR FREE! If you need to be compensated for something that is a glorified Hobby, then you should really consider getting a job. And I do understand what you are saying, that you give your downloads to those you donate. The Problem is you're still restricting people who haven't paid for people who HAVE. Which is still illegal.
-
This is a BIG lie! Here is my last post: It is kinda logical that i should send new updates to those people. They give me their money! I did not ask for the money! Those Nexus moderators are so stupid! After this and after some comments here i'm glad that i have removed SRO. But i'm not surprised. I know people very well! So you're basically telling people that didn't donate you money (Because they have to pay for other things.) To Sod off. That's totally not creating pay content, and restricting user that didn't donate in the first place. I.E It's completely unfair and again, goes against the Skyrim EULA. You are not allowed to force people to pay money for mods. It's not just against The Nexus's Rules, it's against the LAW. People like myself and many others have endorsed, commented, and praised SRO, I even defended you when you stated that it shouldn't be mixed with other mods (As they do artistically clash.) But you've been acting horribly childish and unfair and this was just the tip of the iceberg. Just Look at the Comment Page https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/518782-skyrim-realistic-overhaul/page__st__1260__p__6862134&do=findComment&comment=6862134 Do You REALLY think these guys are ever going to donate to you again, hell some people even un-endorsed it SPECIFICALLY because you did this. I doubt they'll ever donate to you again, or even CARE that you release updates because of how much bad blood you spilled. You've disappointed ALOT of people Starac, alot of FANS, including myself, I who HAD donated because I thought this mod was good.
-
Karma. You sir are an idiot. @all great example of how NOT to handle a situation. IT was his choice to disregard the Rules of The Skyrim Nexus, (And also the rules of the Creation Kit and The EULA of Skyrim, that is you don't charge anyone for Modifications of their work, which his textures are) He bit the bullet, and it blew up in his face. I don't see how we are to blame.
-
I called it, and knew this was going to happen, hell when you set up a Donation box, It's right there in black and white Don't ask for money.
