  1. Using salt is on your meats is realistic. Also, if I'm not mistaken, S.T.E.P. has a mod that puts more salt in the world specifically for this reason.
  2. It's completely normal. It's known as depth-of-field. It focuses on whatever you are looking at and blurs the rest. It's meant to draw more attention to whatever you're looking at (as defined by the cursor).
  3. I'm not so sure we're going to release anything this month, unless something breaks at least. It's been said over and over and over and over, but we're working out a system to provide a much better workflow for updates that incorporates more community involvement and allows for faster updates, so stay tuned for that. Ahh. I see now, I just checked Nexus and see that the smaller updates were cancelled (as of 1 Nov 12) to work on the Wiki, Thunderbolt, and the next larger update.
  4. Skyrim is currently 1.8. Techinically S.T.E.P. hasn't been updated for the newest version of Skyrim. However, as long as the mods don't have any new errors from the new version you should be okay. If I'm not mistaken a small update is suppose to come sometime this month for S.T.E.P.
  5. In my opinion those look too colorful and not enough wear on them. I wish this game would implement wear visually, that would be awesome.
  6. Looks like a good candidate for a content pack.
  7. Then we need testers without limits! :P I'd be glad to! I'm about to go back to work, but afterwards I can send you a PM with my system specs and see if it's good enough for you.
  8. I love having plenty of VRAM, 3GB to be exact. I hope the next S.T.E.P. update includes all of this information from Starac and more options for those of us not limited by CPU, GPU, VRAM, etc, etc.
  9. I like it, except for the fact that he stated that he made it using the "Slightly Higher Jump Mod". He states that because of this some of the distances may not work with vanilla jump and therefore require another mod to work properly. If you're using realism mods and hit the water once it's going to do too much damage to recoup by getting out of the water quickly.
  10. Very nice find. That sounds like an actual expansion compared to Dawnguard.
  11. Sorry I should have linked that and actually double-checked my sources, as it appears to be mostly a rumor at this stage based on snippets of code mentioning the PS3 in the beta patch. I first read it on Beth's boards in the latest DLC thread at the time and people seemed pretty sure of this because some of the gaming press picked it and presented it as an almost done deal. So consider my prior post amended to "maybe PS3 exclusive". I guess until Bethesda confirms it, we wont really know. I highly doubt that will happen. As others have said, they have yet to release any DLC on PS3 as they are having significant problems getting it to work.
