SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn
sirjesto replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Hmmm. I run 370+ plugins and my string count is 54,700. It really does all depend on the mods you use. I'm not using this guide, so I guess it probably could be an issue if you use all the mods in it. -

One would hope that your load order isn't so ridiculous that you will encounter the string limit. -

Yeah make sure you don't have another mod overwriting the scripts. -

You can see the spot now in this image. The character in question is Arissa, but it's the same for all: -

That mod can make dragons tougher for sure. Another issue is that the game difficulty doesn't affect followers, so they can sometimes be pretty OP compared to the player, especially at the beginning and with standalone ones like Sofia. What I do is use xEdit to lower their minimum starting level down to 1 and have their level mult based on my level to 1.0. (This is for followers such as Arissa, Inigo, Sofia, Vilja etc.) This can help mitigate them taking over fights somewhat. -

Yeah we've been waiting for Last Seed for over two years. I remember hearing about it in November of 2014 lol. -

I agree it's more hardcore, but I'm going to be using it. I'm such a freakin hoarder that I end up with more food than my local grocery store. :P -

The bash patch will update with new records if the merged mods are still disabled in the right pane of MO. If they are removed completely, re-running the bash will not include them. There is no problem leaving them in the right pane disabled. This doesn't count towards the max plugin value obviously. I have 350+ plugins on the right pane of MO at all times (All the plugins I merge into bashed patch as well as my other merges stay there in case I need to rebuild later) but only 220+ are enabled. If you organise the list, it isn't too bad. Sample photo of some of the mods. -

I used to do this, but it got to be a pain in the butt re-enabling them all again each time I rebuilt the bashed patch. -

If you are using the latest version of the Unofficial Legacy Patch, you don't need to delete that script, the one in the ULP overwrites it with the correct one. -

OK, I'm hoping to put together the final update to the LOTD Merged Patch for a while. What I would like to know is whether you guys want the new Legacy "Helgen Reborn" patch built into it or not? -

Well something popped up. There was a critical error in the Unofficial Legacy Patch. The patch has been updated, but that will delay the other updates I was going to do to that patch, as well as the patches on patch central. It will therefore likely be another week before I update those patches as well as the LOTD Merged Patch for SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn. Basically, you can expect that patch to be updated around March 18th or so. -

I'll be able to do that, but probably not until the coming weekend. There will be an update to the DBM_DPA_Patch.esp too and I'm just waiting to see if anything else pops up before then. -

Nope. The majority of the fixes in it were to create normal maps where there were none or to optimize some incredibly poor textures, but the files I linked take care of a lot of these issues and use far less VRAM then the official Hi Res textures without sacrificing quality. -

I would also recommend using these mods as well: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/43921/? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/42360/? In my setup, the Mod from my previous post comes first in MO, followed by USLEEP, then the two in this post. Everything else comes after, but that is my base. -

The Legacy team recommends to NOT use the High Resolution Texture Packs, so I wouldn't include that mod either. We recommend using this mod as a base for texture replacers: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57353/? -

I wouldn't worry about that message in DynDOLOD. Those messages aren't necessarily errors at all. -

If you are running DynDOLOD from MO, make sure you uncheck "Have MO manage archives" in the ARCHIVES tab, BEFORE you run DynDOLOD. -

My mistake, It doesn't say to actually edit Darkwater Crossing.esp, but to use the first two digits of the form. If you edited Darkwater Crossing.esp in any way, that is what your issue is. You should have only edited SpiceOfLife - Fences-Arthmoor.esp. EDIT: Ninja'd by DarkladyLexy :) -

sirjesto replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
if I'm not mistaken, the guide is erroneous. you should be editing "SpiceOfLife - Fences-Arthmoor.esp" as it says at the top. If you are editing Darkwater Crossing.esp as it says in the middle, you are probably causing errors, not fixing them. -
