Yes. I should have mentioned this. It also occurred with MM complex materials version for me, as well. -

I am having the same issue. Screenshot was taken with TLL set to off. It's mountaintrim01.nif. Swapping it out for the SMIM version helps, but is not a real fix. Thanks. -
Thanks, @sheson I forgot to check the FAQ. I did add a new grass mod, Veydosebrom with complex grass option. So maybe that could account for the lengthy time. Anyway, I will leave it running while I am at work. If it's not done by then, I will post a more formal question with logs, etc.

Having trouble with the latest version v111. It's been close to seven hours and DynDOLOD is still running. Only error I am getting is [code]<Error: File not saved C:\DynDOLOD\DynDOLOD_Output\Meshes\DynDOLOD\NoHavok\mgmagicfirepillar01_nohavok.nif: Range check error>[/code] No other errors, except a bunch of large reference warnings. Never had this happen before. Usually takes around 2 hours. Could be user error, I suppose. Suggested troubleshooting areas to look at? Thanks.

Thanks, @sheson. Went back to an earlier save and re-updated DDL. Seems OK now. Not sure what went sideways. First time I ever had trouble updating mid-game.

Using alpha 87, I am getting this weird double window in Riften, possibly in other places. I have no idea what is going on. Don't even know how to begin trouble shooting this. Thanks.

So, solution #1 from that link worked. But for some reason, I had to do the procedure twice, which I why I thought it wasn't working and hence my post. Maybe I typo'd something the first time? v.Alpha 74 worked for me. So, this error seems to be related to v.Alpha78 (or at least something between 74 and 78). Nothing else has really changed on my end.

I clicked on said link. It told me to check the Windows Event Viewer. Which I did and posted the results. Screenshot is only the error notice from DynDOLOD. Why is that problematic? ANyway here is the results from the "copy to clipboard"

Alpha 78. Referenced log has literally nothing relevant. Never happened with previous versions. Mod set up is stable and hasn't changed (except for removing TPOS2) since last successful run. Thanks. edit: Windows Even Viewer showed this: and this:

I actually ran my last grass cache without any DynDOLOD assets loaded at all. Maybe that's why I didn't crash (except the "normal" grass cache crashing)?

I would. It is not needed for grass cache.

How long should generating occlusion.esp take? It's up over two and a half hours at this point (for a minimal load order, no new worlds, etc.) I don't recall it ever taking this long before. Thanks. edit: it seems to have woken up. When it finishes I will post the total overall time, if for other reason so that others can compare.

Getting an error message with Alpha 69 that I have never seen before in-game. Nothing in the logs that is relevant. No new error log generated, either (not sure if it is supposed to be generated for in-game errors). How should I proceed to hunt this down? Thanks.

Thank you! Those settings helped quite a bit. Could be tweaked a bit more. But that can wait until the next time I run DynDOLOD. The match is pretty close now, as it is. Thanks again. edit: ENB is definitely in play here, too. Without ENB, it is a perfect match (using the above settings). With ENB, I will need to tweak a bit darker.
