I read on Claralux webpage that it had built in compatibility yesterday when I looked at it (Thank you Lexy for bringing it to my attension). There was also another poster saying there was no patch for ICAIO and ETAC, but Jenna Bee says right on her page that there is a patch. I know you people are trying to help but you really should spend the time reading mod pages just like guide authors have to read up on all of the crap. My opinion on Claralux is that it has a lot of options but I don't really like the light posts. I'm not really a fan of Lantern of Skyrim either because there are too many light posts along roads in my opinion.

LOL. I guess life is not always perfect. I'm no expert but I believe ICAIO has become a base mod in a lot of peoples guides so, If you have a city overhaul you probably need to keep that in the back of your head. Also I'm am not sure where you live but people are free to do and make their mods as they wish. I just think its funny when people want to use town overhaul a,b,c ect and than complain about it not working with ICAIO. A lot of my post I was being sarcastic in general and non of it is toward you. I just wanted to post that Jenna does have ICAIO in the back of her mind and she plans on making her new mod a lot easier for her to maintain according to her posts.

The new version of ETaC also has a "compatibility" option for Immersive Citizens. It doesn't really do a whole ton of stuff, since for the most part I just tried to stay way the hell out of ICAIO's way, BUT, for the few remaining little things (wood piles in bushes and such) compatibility-mode. WOO! I tested it with the latest version of ICAIO and it appears to be working as expected. BUT BUT BUT there's really only so sure I can be about that without additional feedback. Which is where YOU come in. Hooray, you! So any of you who are using Immersive Citizens FULL version and would like to help me out with some feedback on any problems and/or things I missed, it would be greatly appreciated. NOTE: This patch does not touch ANY of Immersive Citizen's content. None of it. Not a single. little. thing. It does not even technically require ICAIO as a master file. (It only modifies ETaC's crap as to be -hopefully- more compatible.) It is a good habit to read description pages, forums, ect to update knowledge from 2015. I am waiting awhile than will add it after I am sure it will play well with ICAIO.

Yes, I noticed. Thank you. Everything I know I have learned from the community, so it is everyone else that deserves credit. You know I have been following your new guide seeing what direction it goes. I noticed you are extracting some BSA's in order to get rid of fake esp's. I was just thinking yesterday that I thought I read you could extract esps with MO2 but am not sure. I might try tonight to see what happens. I am also going to apologize now because as I read my posts I notice they have a lot of fragmented thought. I have super poor communication skills when it comes to typing

I think that as long as no one is going in and changing someone's guide without permission, there is no need to lock it down, plus the guide owner can easily convert the changes back with the click of a button I have to thank Tech a lot because I copied his guide into my own account so that when I finally have time to put back into my guide it gives me a head start, plus someone like Tech seems pretty smart with computers already did the work that I would have spent the next year trying to figure out, Once again I thank Tech for leaving his guide unlocked.

Good bye MO2. SE is not worth this kinda hassle.

How do I make MO2 use the entire mod name from the archive?
Razorsedge877 replied to GlassDeviant's question in Mod Organizer Support
I rename my files also. My renaming scheme is a pain but keeps everything organized. 1. First thing I always do is rename the main file to the same as the page heading. Example, I download the main file and it says Vivid Weathers, I than change it to Vivid Weathers Special Edition - a complete Weather and Visual overhaul for Skyrim SE or if it doesn't have a description I would just name it Vivid Weathers = Main File 2. If Vivid Weathers has an Update file I name it Vivid Weathers = Main File Update, or maybe Vivid Weathers = Main File Update = Vivid Weather Update, so that I know what the actual file download is named. People can come up with some off the wall file names. 3. If a file was in the Misc Section I might call it Vivid Weathers Special Edition = Misc File = File Name 4. If its an Optional File I call it Vivid Weathers Special Edition = Optional File = File Name 5. And finally if it is a patch I call it Vivid Weathers Special Edition = Patch = File Name I find this keeps my download directory very organized, I have to save everything because my internet is super slow. I also found out that "-" will always come before "=" so that is why I can name Vivid Weathers Special Edition - a complete Weather and Visual overhaul for Skyrim SE and it will always come before something like Vivid Weathers Special Edition = Optional File = File Name This is the way I do it and I would love it if there was a more uniform system out there that everyone would follow -
GUIDE W3R: The Wild Hunt Revisited (Witcher 3)

Can I ask why you chose that monitor. I'm just curious is all. I have 3 - 27" Asus monitors, and my tower is pretty much all ASUS. everything is about 3 to 4 years old with no issues, So I guess I have had a good experience with their brand. I would love to get triple widescreens but that is a big investment. -

I'm probably going to add a few more mods than start working out my load order staring with realistic water 2. I am hoping to start a CR Patch this weekend.

Can Someone help me solve why Wrye Bash isn't keeping my install order
-
I pretty much agree with you guys on Open Cities, Genisis, and Follow Me Swim After me. I was just looking for someone to back me up I guess. If I do use Open Cities It will be down the road being its not a necessary mod. I spent most of my day downloading and adding more to the guide. I also ran SKSE for awhile and everything works fine. I have a dozen or so more mods I may add than I will try straightening up my load order. I know LOOT keeps Putting Realistic Waters at the top and it causes major seams if you do not lower it. I also Updated Veydosebrom - Grasses and Groundcover. I am pretty sure I did the installer the correct way.
-
Can you give an opinion on open cities. Do you think it is unecassary even though it is pretty cool. I am worried about Nav Meshes. I am not ready for that yet. I am also starting to check out ETAC since it states being compatible with Immersive Citizens. I am also very curious about Genisis Surface Spawns, Run and Swim after Me, and Genisis Unlimited (Makes spawn points in dungeons.)
-
I do not see Unique Uniques mentioned on the description page. I will take it out of the guide. Do you unzip every file to make sure the installer is structured properly? I cant remember what mod it was but I seen your guide had instructions to repack it ever though I figured out by luck it needed repacked. I also noticed I do not need White Phial Replacer. Or maybe I need the optional for 50% the size, I have to look that up
-
Lol. Phew is right. Making and up-keeping a guide is takes up a lot of time and I even cheated. I'm not sure what you do for a living but I pretty much never even used a computer till about three years ago and had to teach myself everything (well of coarse it was a Gopher SKSE vids using NMM and than figuring out MO, and now its Wrye Bash, ect) which in itself can eat up a lot of time. So now it is time to learn conflict resolution. Fun Fun lol I will look up Unique Uniques, Thank you for pointing that out.

How do you check for mod updates with Wrye Bash
Razorsedge877 replied to Razorsedge877's question in Wrye Bash Support
I hope vortex takes the best of MO and Wrye Bash and combines them. I prefer bain over fomod because i csn easily see the options i chose in the installer but i like MO because its easy to compare mods. I think i have also noticed i can rename a mod as long as i dont change the nexus id# but i am at work and cant try right now. I like the screen shots. I am trying to get a guide going and will need to learn how to do this in order to ask coflict and load order questions. -
I dont need Noble Skyrim. I had been thinking about getting rid of it. I guess i had ben comparing the two for conflics with MO. As for Windsong i will check it out. I have been curious about cbbe also. The problem with cbbe is maybe armor converions. Do you think LOTD is to far down on my install list. I fivure as long as it doesnt overwrite any textures from my graphics section i should be fine. I also think my mod naming system is different than everyone else, example cutting room floor = main file, cutting room floor = optional = file. I do this in my mod manager because if i am in my downloads forder and i hit the name colum it puts everything in alphabetical order and is very easy to organize. I just hope the names arent long winded.
-
Thanks for checking out the guide. I also was like should I wait for you guys, wait for Vortex ect, ect. I just decided to go with it. I kind of tried breaking it up between visuals and gameplay. I figured doing it like that would give people a vanilla exp or a modded exp by adding the gameplay section. I'm not sure if that is a crazy idea or what. Well bI hope you check in once awhile to offer your opinion
-
I also should post that all of my links are to the old Nexus pages. My internet is very crappy and comparing the download size and size specified on the mod page is alot easier in KBs. If needed I could post both links. The only dfference is you change www. to rd.

Hi everyone. I have been trying to get the ball rolling on publishing a guide with LOTD (and maybe open cities). I have asked TechAngel85 for permission to copy and paste a lot of his very well put together guide to speed up the process. Like a lot of you I have a very busy life (single full time father to a teenager, work too much and martial arts classes) so anyone willing to offer input or help with patching and so on would be awesome. The main thing I do not want from this guide is nudity, skimpiness, A ton of porting mods from Skyrim LE, and a ton of patches that are not Nexus related. If this guide catches on I would rather just make a nexus page. This guide will also need SKSE. basically I do not want a guide that is so complex that we are flushing out bugs a year from now. This is a first for me so please have patience. So I present to you a very rough draft. I pretty much have just installed the first half including the UI. I figure this will be a good spot just to test how the game is working. I know I had to get rid of Simply bigger Trees Billboards and any LODs in HQ Tree bark because I was getting 2 dimensional trees in the big lake before Riverwood, I also Have not rum DynLOD yet. (I haven't fixed this in the guide yet). I probably will work on the guide more Thursday or Friday so I hope to hear from you guys. https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Razorsedge877/Skyrim_Extended_LOTD_2#Player_.26_NPC.27s

How do you check for mod updates with Wrye Bash
Razorsedge877 posted a question in Wrye Bash Support
Sorry if I have missed this answer somewhere. I currently use MO2 to keep my mods updated but there has got to be an easier way to check for updates with Wrye Bash
