Skyrim Flora Overhaul and Loot
madskyrim replied to madskyrim's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Well SFO - Dragonborn.esp is dependent on SFO.esp. -
Using STEP Extended and installed Skyrim Flora Overhaul plus the Dragonborn Addon. When I run LOOT - I get this Load Order: SFO - Dragonborn.esp Skyrim Flora Overhaul.esp Is this correct? Shouldn't it be the other way round ?

My last memory block entry is : 316 219 I do not crash ingame while playing. Well haven't played much actually since this CTD was/is driving me nuts. (I use this method to test, since I read that if you die it is better to exit game and reload; since reloading ingame is bugged).

I am using the ENB Boost. I think it is working since when I load up game, in screen I get the Notice "ENB Boost working but no renderer" - something similar. I managed to get the SKSE memory patch to work via the shortcut indexer ---> -forcesteamloader This is my memoryBlocksLog: logging of blocks enabled logging max values only Timer disabled Block1 Block2 512MB 256MB Also even with all mods (STEP and REGS) disabled, but only the Winterhold Mod mentioned above active, I still get the Crash to desktop when loading from Main menu ingame. This occurs once I level up. Before levelling up I do not crash. If I gain enough XP points to levelup to Level 2 but do not access the Skills Interface I do not crash; however once I level up my stats or/and my perks I crash. Can someone with the Destructive Winterhold Ruins enabled try to load from Main Menu ingame and see whether any problems are encountered ? Something I noticed while Testing: I have this scenario: Save 1 = a save game at level 1 Save 2 = a save game at level 2 I boot game from desktop and load Save 1. Loads fine. Then ...... I exit to Main menu ingame and loads Save 2. Loads fine. Then ..... I exit to Main menu ingame and loads either Save 1 or save 2. Both crash to desktop.

I have STEP-EXTENDED-REGS (and some other additional mods) ..... I am experiencing weird crashes on loading. 1. Booting up game from Desktop. Last Saved Game loads fine. 2. Loading Saved Game during gameplay (no quickload) .... Saved Game loads fine. 3. If during gameplay, I exit to Main Menu and load Saved Game from there .... game crashes. Any ideas ? Edit: I found that the problem occurs after my first Level Up. Edit2: I found the culprit. The Mod causing the CTD is Expanded Winterhold Destruction Ruins. However how this is related to the Level Up Mechanism is just beyond me !

madskyrim replied to CJ2311's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)

Step Extended 2.2.9 and Explorer Pack
madskyrim replied to madskyrim's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
Hi again. Thanks for the previous answer. The problem is the more I ponder on this STEP-REGS the more I am getting queuries popping up in my mind. The REGS wiki says that REGS should be installed right after ALL CORE-EXTENDED has been installed. But the last patches block is again worrying me. So should the order be: Core-Extended Step Pathes Bashed Patch Dual Sheath Redux Better Shaped Weapons FNIS REGS REGS Compatibility Patches .... ? Because if this is the case, will Dual Sheath Redux Patch Proccer and FNIS Patcher work on the REGS files ? -
Step Extended 2.2.9 and Explorer Pack
madskyrim replied to madskyrim's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
Thanks for the answer. I have another question. In step-extended, when installing skymills and skyfalls should the falskaar and Wyrmstooth be selected as well in the options ? or is this taken care of by the REGS STEP EXTENDED Patch ? Also considering MO, should Falskaar and Wyrmstooth be installed before SkyMills and Skyfalls ? -
I installed step by step STEP EXTENDED using LOOt and its rules. The Loot Rule for the Step Extended Patch.esp is to give priority of 989000 .. so that the esp is always in the end of the list. The problem now is with The Explorer pack. Installed all and when I came for the REGS PATCHES I got completely lost. A userlist for the Regs patches is given for BOSS only. Also the Step Extended patch.esp is always at the bottom of the list (below the Regs Patch - Extended.esp). I think the Regs Extended patch should be below the Step Extended Patch. Which are the best LOOT rules for the Regs Custom patches ?

I am about to install the XP32 Maximum Skeleton Mod. The Step Guide (Skyrim Revisited Leg) mentions the 2.06 (Groovtama's XPMS Extended).... However the Nexus Site has the Mod updated to 2.14 (Groovtama's XPMS Extended) . Which version should I use ?

Sky-Re sometimes tells you not to install certain .dds files. Should the corresponding _n.dds be installed ?

I am in the process of installing Werewolf Mastery Mod with the Loot Optional update. The BOYD esp conflict editing states: Select Bring Out Your Dead.esp and WerewolfMastery.esp then click [OK]. Expand "Non-Player Character (Actor)" under WerewolfMastery.esp and select the "0001A692" node. However under "Non-Player Character (Actor)" there is no such nodes. All nodes start with 0005. Also the right-pane shows only werewolfmastery.esp and nothing else. Using: Werewolf_Mastery_v3_0_and_Moonlight_Tales_v1_13_Compatibility_version          BOYD version is 1.2 (1.1.7 not available on nexus) Any suggestions are appreciated.

DROPPED Unique Region Names (by Thingy Person)
madskyrim replied to blacksol's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
On Nexus author states: Version 5 is NOT compatible with Hearthfire and may cause problems with Open Cities and other mods. Version 3 is completely safe to use in this regard, but has problems where the wrong name is shown in certain places (such as Riverwood). Is this Mod (version 5.0) safe to use in SR ? Regards -
The SR steps actually tells you which files NOT to install. So, since the mod was updated, it is difficult to assess which files are safe to install. Especially since the author says that the Mod is a non-Standalone Mod.

Langleys Wood Metal and Stone Texture Workshop Mod has been updated to 1.5 in Nexus (and old file removed ..... seems to be happening alot lately in nexus; ie removing old files) ! I am quite afraid to dabble with this mod, since it seems to have many conflicts with other mods. Is anyone able to advice which files are safe to install from the entire 1.5 packet ?

Planning to reinstall SR from scratch since I was getting alot of CTDs. I have some questions prior to start from scratch to minimize disaster as much as possible. 1. The Unofficial patches' version in SR are not the recent ones available on nexus. Is it safe to use the latest nexus versions ? 2. Some Mods have been updated since SR was lastly updated. Should I use the Mods' Versions indicated in SR or use the latest available on nexus ? 3. The Mod: UNP Blessed Body is not available anymore on the nexus site. The site redirects you to UNP BLESSED BODY- UNPB REDUX PROJECT [https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/37900//?]    Should I use this ?
