Hello Darth,

I think you might need need to add a User Rule for BreezehomeFullyUpgradable

Quote from Immersive Citizens AI Overhaul.

- The main plugin (Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul.esp) must be positioned below:

  • any plugin which edits Breezehome, Honeyside, Vlindrel, Hall Hjerim or Proudspire Manor
  • any plugin adding new houses (more information is available here)
  • Deadly Dragons
  • Enhanced Skyrim Factions - The Companions Guild
  • Interesting NPCs
  • Requiem
  • Touring Carriages

So it would seem o.k. as it is by reading that.

However after checking more on the compatibility page it is mentioned in the 'Compatible and supported mods' drop-down list that

Breezehome FullyUpgradable (must be positioned above my plugin)

it says under the Compatible or supported plugins that Breezehome FullyUpgradable (must be positioned above my plugin) so it need to go above ICAIO whcih it currently does, but thinking about it, it does hurt having a user rule to also make sure.

Farmhouse Chimneys is now added to SRLE base :)

Would you consider testing Dawn of Skyrim as well?

looks like Neo beat me to it. we will need to change his fomod instructions if you end up use Arthmoor's 4 villages I'll look into it.

looking at the 4 villages mods in TES5edit there doesn't look to be any major conflicts and things would to moved into the CR and Males of Skyrim will have to be updated apart from that yeah looks good I test in game tonight (really got to study today)  I'll see what Darth thinks but I cant see why it shouldn't be included in SRLE Extended.

Well, you can still use ETaC modular and include the cities/settlements that are still compatible with ICAIO. Pour into the mix Arthmoor's towns, DoS full (that u r using) and JK's Superlite (extremely minor incompatibilities with ICAIO). You will have a nice layout, although I am still missing ETaC Rorikstead!

True, that is an option but my LO is tapped out.  I'm not sure how I could fit ETAC full, I definitely can't fit the modular towns.  The bigger problem, however, is that adding separate towns runs the risk of a future conflict as ICAO is updated.  I would have added Rorikstead and run into problems last time and would add Falkreath, which would run into problems next time (ICAO changlog says it's up next).  I almost added JK's Falkreath and Morthal to my current game and am glad I didn't.

Except for the MMO part, I share many ideas that cstarkey42 has been mentioning in recent posts. Immersive Citizens has pretty much decided my town overhaul setup and I'm glad I adjusted my load order for it, not using JK's cities and/or ETaC does wonders for performance (who would have thought!).

The decision to drop ETaC was a tough one, but I wasn't going to drop Immersive Citizens and I desperately needed some performance. I now also use Arthmoor's 4 town overhauls + farmhouse chimneys and its patches. It performs and looks great! (Well, performs greater than before. I still refuse to give up the SFO+Unbelievable Grass Two combo.)

I agree with cstarkey that between JK's cities & Dawn of Skyrim the latter is your best choice performance wise. I also tried both JK's Cities Lite & SuperLite (with and without its DoS performance/clipping patch) and in the end just reverted to simply using DoS for the best looks vs performance ratio. You could also try using only the performance version of DoS provided by the JK's cities lite installer, I have not tried this yet.

Then something entirely different.. about Summerset Isle. When I added it to my load order a couple of months ago, loading times (both the initial main menu loading time & in-game loading time) drastically increased. I have no idea what caused it, but I read that esmifying the esp somehow fixed it and tried it.. and it surprisingly did decrease my loading times. The desciption of the nexus page states however that "ESMifying the esp is not recommended or supported". For me it made a significant difference though. So I'm wondering if any of you experienced increased loading times, if you tried esmifying this plugin and if that made any difference.

I also held off on Summerset Isles, opting instead for Beyond Reach, Helgen Reborn and Moon and Star (all added in SRLE Explorers).  I had Summerset but having so many large worldspace additions was a concern.  Dropping it did seem to improve performance a bit as well.  I'm playing as a Nord so will add SI on a elf mage character, after I've finally played the other new worlds and can remove them.  I'm also only using Arissa, Inigo and Recorder as followers in my current game.  Those, along with Interesting NPCs, give me more than enough followers to choose from.
