SRLE Extended

Recommended Posts

Redirishlord  just so you know Interesting NPCs actaully I belive thes biggest script heavy mod in Extended. It was Dyndolod before Sheson worked his magic.

I am personally not using Interesting NPC's and i've not got this issue so I am convenced more then ever that Darth needs to save his sanitiy (and mine) bite the bullet and remove this mod from extended. Otherwise he will sacfrice other things to squeeze it in.

Don't worry i'll be nagging him until he gives in cos he has been drive me insane all day about this.

Agreed re- Interesting.

All praise Sheson re- DynDoLOD.

I notice Helgen Reborn has quite a string footprint as well, going to try 2 plays in parallel, one with Helgen for a warrior & one with Summset Isles for a mage. I'm also considering dropping iNeed and relying on Vigor's nerf of health regen to keep me hunting & eating food for health recovery.

I use fUpdateBudgetMS=1.6 and it works great for me.  I don't know if it necessarily makes it "smoother" but it does ensure that, when I have a lot of scripts going off at once, all of the scripts execute.

I use most of a full SLRE and Extended, with a few other mods on top.

From SRLE I'm not currently using:

Bathing

Holidays

KS Hair

Alternate Start

From Extended I don't use:

Helgen Reborn

Lock Overhaul

Easy Wheel Menu

Molag Bal's

Moonpath

College Days

Noble Skyrim

Bigger Trees

Merta Assasin

Jaggersfeld

General Store

The followers I currently have are Mirai, Inigo and Recorder.

The other mods I'm using are:

Gold Adjustment

Beyond Reach

Moon and Star

Hunterborn

Populated Forts and Populated Dungeons (NO Asis Spawns)

Genesis

Dawn of Skyrim

Thunderchild

Music Merge

Smarter Combat Music

Leaf Rest

Morrowloot Ultimate

Probably a few others but I can't think of any more.  These are the main ones.

I had a string count of about 52,500 to start and now it's up to about 53,300.  I'm level 15, beat the first dragon and have done a bunch of minor quests, notice board quests, and about 5 companion quests.  Not only is this the furthest the game has let me get in a while (my first dragon battle in months lasted 45 minutes.  Awesome!) but I've also had maybe 2 CTD, which were completely random and non-problematic when I restarted.  My memory logs have yet to fill up, which is beyond crazy to me considering how little I could do before worrying about them before.  I also have yet to have the annoying CTD on save bug (game is fine, save, load game later, CTD whenever you try to save, google, find voodoo magic, voodoo magic works (how did anyone even figure out that process...scratches head), voodoo magic stops working several hours later...) or any strange CTDs on loading like I would randomly get before the purge.  I do get a little lag going into the perk screen but it's not that bad, maybe a couple seconds, and doesn't seem to be interfering with anything else.  I do notice that the modified health, stamina, and magic numbers lag as well, so that might be a clue as to what the problem is.  It doesn't seem like it should be a difficult calculation but with so many mods adjusting those values, as well as skill levels, it could be.  Sorry for the long post, just wanted to update you on what is working for me right now.

I am taking note here.

I am taking note here.

I'm home now and able to look over my list.  I'm also using:

Verdant

EK Ring Limiter

CS Tag and Track

Artifacts of Boethiah

Art of the Catch

Sky City

Animal Tweaks (with the Skytest patch.  I just merged all the animal tweaks esps into one)

SFO

ELE Lite - Full Version (It looks amazing with Vividian ENB.  The fires really give a different feel to the world now.  Much better than just ELFX, IMO.  I'm using ELFX too, of course.)

Some other minor mods as well but those are the ones that you really notice on a more consistent basis.

@cstarkey42: Can you compare Animal Tweaks to SkyTest?

I have used SkyTest w/out additional spawns & Skyrim Immersive Creatures with Hunterborn in the past and enjoyed the combination. I notice Animal Tweaks is a lighter mod, does it lose what made SkyTest worthwhile, better AI & behavior?

I'd say that Skytest adds a lot of realism to the game in terms of behavior, young animals, and more creatures (even without spawns).  Animal Tweaks is all about difficulty.  Bears are tough, snow cats are fierce, and trolls...well, I've gone way out of my way to avoid a troll.  A frost Troll surprised my level 15, Inigo and Zora and the three of us couldn't even damage it.  Skytest and Animal Tweaks together is a great combination, especially since AT also adds things like not reporting crimes, etc....  The knockback effect is also a great part of AT, especially now that it doesn't send you flying 100 meters anymore.

Great information, thank you. I will add Animal Tweaks.

Finalizing my hybrid of SR:LE, select SRLE:Extended & Dovahkiin Reborn items. Looking very forward Campfire/Frostfall/Hunterborn and the Disparity/SPO/SSR combo with TTRSO filling in gaps & Path of Sorcery/Lost Grimoire taking care of magic.

Does anyone else have issues with their enb if the gamma is set to 1.0000?  The colors seem off but, mainly, when I go into settings and adjust the brightness up or down one notch and then put it back to where it was the game looks much better.  Shadows, dof, colors...pretty much everything, like the enb is only half working before and doing this turns it fully on.  If I go into skyrimprefs.ini and set the gamma to 0.9999 or 1.001 then it looks really good too so it doesn't make any sense to me why it's so much worse at 1.0000.  I set my inis to read only.  I've had this issue for awhile and just left my gamma at 0.9999 but I redid my inis and am curious if I'm really the only one with this weird issue.

I dont see any difference myself.

So I have been informed that You Hunger is very outdated with regards to both Falskaar and Wyrmstooth and can cause CTD and other issue so I am also going to recommend to Darth that this be removed until fixed.

Do you have any more information, if so it needs to be addressed (by me) in the Survival pack as well? Edited by dreadflopp

I was informed about this from Astakos:

"I was examining last night the "You Hunger" mod as I was thinking of adding it to my working mod list.

Upon a very quick look I have noticed that its Realism-Complete edition is severely outdated regarding Falskaar and Wyrmstooth.

It is outdated to the extend that it contains orphan records referencing Falskaar and Wyrmstooth Masters and also quite a few of its parent cells referencing these 2 mods are not updated to their latest version (i.e. 1.2.1final for Falskaar & 1.16 for Wyrmstooth).

If this specific plugin is used as is now presented in the guide it can re-introduce bugs and maybe CTDs especially when the orphan records are referenced."

He has informed the Mod author about it. I havn't had a chance to have a serious look at it in xedit been busy with the skill menu lag issue which I now have decided what I am going to do about.

have updated the main guide and the intergartion guide dropped interesting NPC and all related patches updated the CR

knew I would forget something Morrowloot patch also updated.

Also pulled You Hunger until I know what going on with it.

To bad, hopefully it'll get updated. I'll add a recommendation to use the non Falskaar & Wyrmstooth version in the Survival pack, it should function as intended.
