Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Assuming the readers have the Skyrim Revisited : Legendary edition. With all the most recent updates as of 01.05.2015. The date of this post. Have Latest Java (8) and using Mod Organizer.

To get Perkus Maximus With PaMa Patches (PCaPP) to properly work with Skyrim Revisited : Legendary edition.

Do following:

1. Download both mods with MO:

T3nd0's Perkus Maximus:  https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59849/?

PerMa Compatibility and PaMa Patches (PCaPP): https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59257/?

Heres a proper DSR patch for perma https://www.nexusmods...im/mods/64647/?

2. Install both, In Perma (Perkus Maximus) check all settings. In PCaPP, only select compatibility to the mods you have when installing.

3. Put them on the bottom of the mod install list

4. Deactivate double esp's like if you have immerisve weapons.esp from the original mod, it needs to be put to hidden in MO. Because PCaPP has replacement esp's.

5. Run Boss.

6. Then either use MO's lock ability or BOSS Userlist manager to sort mods into correct place as follows:

- after ESM's load order location (After very important esp's aswell - list may vary from user to user)

PerkusMaximus_Master.esp

PerMA Expansion 1 - wintermyst.esp

PerkusMaximus_Mage.esp

PerkusMaximus_Theif.esp

PerkusMaximus_Warrior.esp

- General mods

- Extra Late (bottom but not after compatibility patches)

(First Pre PaMa.esp's)

Pre PaMa WAFR CCOR BoYD Patch.esp (The one you choose when installing PCaPP)

Pre PaMa SiC Patch.esp (The one you choose when installing PCaPP)

Pre PaMa CCF Wintermyst patch.esp (The one you choose when installing PCaPP)

Then regular PerMa patches

PerMa_survivalism.esp

PerMa_USKP master patch.esp

Wyrmstooth - PerMa Patch.esp

7. Get ready for patching. First start with removing old patches:

Remove the old RSpatch

Remove the old TES5Edit Merge Patch

Remove the old Bashed Patch

Remove the old Fnis

Remove the old DSR patch

Deactivate SR Conflict Resolution (the one Neo made)

8. Remake RSpatch

Reactivate SR SR Conflict Resolution

9. Deactive Perkus maximus and Compatibilty patches

10. Run TES5Edit and merge all mods and remove all Levelled references from the Merged Patch, and Clean Masters.

11. Reactive Perkus maximus and Compatibilty patches

12. Run Bash Patch

13. Add to Perma Block list:

dD-DG-DB-Immersive Creatures EBT Patch.esp

ORM Convenient Alsvid.esp
ORM-Arvak.esp

to stop Convenient Horses.esp and dD - Enhanced Blood Main.esp being sucked into patchusmaximus.esp

14. Run Perma's .Jar file or add to executable from its install directory, to make it create the Perkus Maximus.esp

15. Run FNIS / Dual sheat redux / other patches.

----------

End of Loadorder should look like this:

  • 160.RRR_ELFX-Patch.espesp
  • 161.CCO_SIC_Patch.espesp
  • 162.CCO_Frostfall_Patch.espesp
  • 163.PerMa_Survivalism.espesp
  • 164.Pre PaMa SiC Patch.espesp
  • 165.Pre PaMa WAFR CCOR BoYD Patch.espesp
  • 166.Pre PaMa CCF Wintermyst Patch.espesp
  • 167.ELE_Legendary_Fs_Wt_Lite.espesp
  • 168.RSPatch.espesp
  • 169.SR Conflict Resolution.espesp
  • 170.TES5Editmergepatch.espesp
  • 171.Bashed Patch, 0.espesp
  • 172.PatchusMaximus.espesp
  • 173.Dual Sheath Redux Patch.esp

----------

Do this every time you add or remove a mod.

Please correct me if im wrong

lets make it clear for everyone what to do.

I will edit this post fast to make it updated to what the experts say.

----------

If you have problems with making the patch, try run it through the debugger found in the same folder.

Debug - moreheadpsace - 32butandMQ.bat (i had to do that)

----------

Update:

Nozzer66 - (remove all Levelled references from the Merged Patch, and Clean Masters.)

Darth_mathias - (Details to installation)

Yes I know, you have to make it yourself using TES5Edit. It's not hard to do.

EDIT: A small change to step 6. Wintermyst has to be after Master and before Mage.

9. Deactive Perkus maximus and Compatibilty patches

I gues deactivating the 3 folders installed?

-Perkus Maximus - Maximum Perk Overhaul

-PerMa Compatibility and PaMa Patches

-A Lot of Dual Sheath Redux Patches

10. Run TES5Edit and merge all mods and remove all Levelled references from the Merged Patch, and Clean Masters.

sorry for being dumb, what mods please?

No. Deactivate Perkus Maximus temporarily first. Mod Organizer will show anything that depends on Perkus Maximus as having the ! in a triangle around it. Deactivate any such mod temporarily. That's all you need to do. It's hard to give a full list of them all as what will need to be done will depend on what you have installed.

I have made clean SR:LE but now I'm stuck at point 6 - I don't know what patches should I use, what should I disable or how to sort them properly...

how to sort them properly

Hello Drusek, firstly, look at the text again.

6. Then either use MO's lock ability or BOSS Userlist manager to sort mods into correct order.

If you have SR:LE you have used Boss userlist manager, use it again to put them in the order the mod author tells you too. Usually Boss handles it but when not you step in to fix.

what should I disable

Dont disable anything in step 6.

I don't know what patches should I use

Only use patches to the mods you have.

I have 1nivWICCloaksCRAFT.esp and 1nivWICCloaks.esp - which one should I keep?

I have "Wyrmstooth - PerMa Patch.esp" that author doesn't seem to have - should I keep it?

I don't have "Pre PaMa CCF Wintermyst Patch.esp" and I don't know where to get it from.

1) Do you want the cloaks able to be found on others or just craftable? If the former then you use the 1nivWICCloaks. If you just want to be able to make the cloaks yourself, use the CRAFT one.

2) Yes.

3) All the Pre PaMa patches are in the installer on the PCaPP page. You choose what you need from that. the CCF Wintermyst patch is amongst them.

PCaPP has patches for the WIC cloaks mod in it. You just need to pick the one you want. You do need to watch it though as other mods, like Complete Crafting Overhaul for example, ALSO provide replacement .esps for WIC, so make sure you have the correct esp for the job.

It gets a little fiddly at times, but as long as you keep your wits about you it all comes good. :)
