Question

Posted (edited)

Hi,

during the steps of the Skyrim Revisited:Legendary Edition (https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Neovalen/Skyrim_Revisited_-_Legendary_Edition) I came a cross a thing I dont know how to do.

Under some mods there is a yellow text: BOSS Masterlist Update required. The update guide (https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Neovalen/Skyrim_Revisited_-_Legendary_Edition/BOSS_Masterlist_Updating) tells me to select the ESP in the lower-left pane. When I open BOSS UM I dont have anything in the lower left pane as you see in my screenshot: Posted Image

Also I tried to search for the ESP in the lower right panel, but I could not find the required ESP to update. The Step Tutorial just says:

  • EFFCore.esm BOTTOM ESMs
  • EFFDialogue.esp BOTTOM Extensible Follower Framework

I cant figure out what to do. Anyone can help me with this? Since there are alot of mods requiring this step and I already invested tons of time in the Step guide, dont want to end it now without any effect.

1) Are you running B.U.M. through MO? If not there's your problem, you will need to go back and set up all the tools to run through MO.

2) have you activated the mods in the left hand pane of MO, if the esp file is not showing in the right hand pane before you run B.U.M. then it wont show up.

3) Not sure about this one but is the esp activated in the right hand pane of MO, again may cause B.U.M. to not see it.

If not one of these three then I don't know.

I started BUM seperatly, the guide suggested to run it as administrator and not with MO afair. Will try it with MO as soon as I get home. Thanks

Sorry if this is off topic... I'm wondering why BUM is suggested for use in SR:LE anymore. I used to use it but it gave me all kinds of problems. It simply would not allow me to create simple rules because some of the ESPs could not be chosen in the interface. Anyway, finally switched to BOSS's built in rule creator and now I have no problems and rule creation and management is really easy now.
