I ran into a new repository for Fallout mods just this week. I was aiming to mod for Fallout 4 and began the official Step Fallout 4 Guide when I found that site in question.

Long story short, I only went part way into using that Step Guide once I realized I would have to downgrade my Steam version of Fallout 4 in order to complete the entirety of that guide. Since Fallout 4 received official next Gen Update(s) this past year.

Anyways, since I was back into modding mode, which I hadn't done in a couple years, I figured I would try my hand at also modding my Steam version of Fallout New Vegas in parallel with Fallout 4. So last couple days I pretty much made up my mind to go full steam ahead with New Vegas for the foreseeable future instead of FO-4.

While on that newly found Fallout mod site I was paying attention to FO-4 mods & barely skimmed FO-NV ones. Since I've made the switch last couple days I started applying the Step Fallout New Vegas Guide to my build.

I've never played either game yet. While going through the process of following the FO-NV guide I came upon its recommendation to install the Wasteland Clothing Hires Retexture mod. Since Nexus does not have an official mod page for it, and since the official Step Fallout New Vegas Guide has no link to that mod while still recommending users to use that retexture mod if they can get their hands on it, that's the reason why I'm here now.

When I saw that comment within the FO-NV Step Guide I decided to go pay a visit to that new Fallout mod website I had recently discovered. Lo and behold, sure enough, that mode was there, to my surprise. (May the modding force be with you all, brothers & sisters)

That site is hosting files without explicit permission from the mod authors whose work is being hosted. They also don't publish the mod authors' names or other metadata, so we aren't linking to that site from our mod pages. The mod page you are currently referring to alludes to the fact that this file can be found with a bit of Googling, so that's fine. We just don't want to explicitly and officially link to sites like this from our guides as mod sources.
