Persistent OpenGL error.  Not always on the same file however.

[02:04] Error: OpenGL: F:\Tools\DynDOLOD\TexGen_Output\textures\lod\largeimperialtentlod framebuffer objects unsupported.

[02:06] Error: OpenGL: F:\Tools\DynDOLOD\TexGen_Output\textures\lod\whtrimstone1lod framebuffer objects unsupported.

Clicking on links in error message window does not open anything.

Clean installed Nvidia graphics driver v565.90 (WHQL) without any "bloatware".

Get new test version from https://stepmodifications.org/forum/topic/20153-error-opengl-framebuffer-objects-unsupported/#findComment-282545 and only set GLDebug=1 and none of the other settings to see if it runs trough. Upload logs in case it fails.

I've been having the red LOD issue that Link01000 mentioned here. I downloaded the latest TexGen this morning (10 AM ET) with the SHA256 hash 697ed7238b1ef1ecb3624ba1b4cb289df96f63e469ac300486cc664e82c6148f (just to make sure I'm on the latest). I still encounter the red LODs, here's texgen logs. https://filebin.net/9rvk6992r6cscgiz

The tools reported their exe CRC32 in the first logline TexGen 3.0 Alpha-182 x64 - Skyrim Special Edition (SSE) (02D44141) so that is the latest right now.

Can you list the filenames of 3 red LOD textures that were generated?

I'll be honest I don't know the best way to figure this out but one of the nifs is architecture\farmhouse\farmhouse05.nif so I opened it in NifSkope and judged by eye which ones they are:

textures\architecture\farmhouse\WoodWalkway01.dds
textures\architecture\farmhouse\Thatch03.dds
textures\architecture\farmhouse\WoodWall01.dds

These seem to be on all the red LOD buildings too.

Hi @sheson,

I also experienced the red LOD textures on the newest TexGen. Nothing else had changed in my LO. I was experiencing the OpenGL error, so I followed all of the existing troubleshooting steps. That led to me using the latest TexGen which produced red LOD textures. I then went back to the nexus version to restart troubleshooting.  I can 100% replicate an OpenGL error on the Nexus version by using 0 direct lighting on HD Grass. Everything else the same and changing to 75 direct lighting and TexGen runs fine. Here is the TexGen for 0 direct lighting and 75 direct lighting. Using Nexus TexGen with default ini both runs. Maybe this is helpful?

TamrielLOD with red textures (sorry didn't save logs etc) but just for reference that it did occur after using the latest TexGen

Interesting! I tried 75 direct lighting on HD Grass and the Nexus version seemingly worked until it got to the end, and then crashed with the OpenGL error.

That probable means the ..\textures\lod\farmhouselod01.dds in your TexGen output is red or partly red?

The problem with the red textures appears to be with stitched object LOD textures. They are not affected by any of the light settings for LOD billboards. It is most likely a bit random due to multithreading what is affected or if at all. I see from the object LOD atlas texture you uploaded it is also the farmhouselod01.dds texture (and one other) as I already suspected it is for @yakmods.

I will post again, once I have a new test version to try based on this information.

Oh sorry, had two posts in one really. The original OpenGL error I can replicate by setting my HD Grass Direct lighting to 0. I only started seeing this error when I started tweaking grass lighting. I can currently run TexGen and complete stitched DynDOLOD texture files without issue using the Nexus version and default ini files. I never changed my LO throughout the process really, just changing TexGen GUI settings introduced the OpenGL error.

Hmm nothing red in your case. Can you check for any other LOD textures in the same folder if any of have red parts?
Otherwise upoad ..\Textures\DynDOLOD\LOD\ DynDOLOD_Tamriel.dds from the DynDOLOD output.

Ugh I am a donut, I didn't have TexGen_Output enabled in MO2. The textures are indeed red. Sorry about that. I uploaded DynDOLOD_Tamriel.dds just in case too: https://filebin.net/0oe3ol0whc2mmglb

Well, almost. I noticed some building's glows are red:

They also don't really change color until you get extremely close. Looks like its this:

image.thumb.png.0fd7d4242819b53bc218a6058f874fe5.png

Opening it and resaving it with NVIDIA Texture Tools seems to fix it.

Also upload the TexGen debug log. See https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Post-Logs

Make sure the texture is not accidently left over from an older generation. Compare its file date.

Make sure all older TexGen output is really disabled before running TexGen. Check the same texture path in the data folder before running TexGen looks properly.
