lrogers287 Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 (edited) Hello I am sooo close to being through the STEP patches. I am successful in launching the game withe STEP Conflict Resolution+ update (merged) plus the standalone CACO patch. When I enable any of the following patches - CCOR, WACCF, Lighting and Weather (red box in below snip) the game gets through the Bethesda splash screen and CTD. It happens with all patches enabled as well. This happens with or without the CACO patch enabled. I downloaded and reinstalled the mods to no avail. Is there any verbose mode to enable on SKSE Loader ? Any other troubleshooting tips? here is the gameplay mods installed. Edited September 20, 2024 by lrogers287

DoubleYou Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 Please enable the plugins in the Plugins tab of the Left Pane as indicated are inactive. Also, it looks like you missed installing Odin. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/46000

Here is the LOOT output with all patches enabled. Expand Please check your MO left pane against the Step 2.3 modlist (left pane). Install Odin as the guide instructs. Once you verify all mods are installed and enabled, enable all plugins in the MO right pane. Then sort with LOOT. Pay attention to LOOT warnings and errors. It's telling you what you need to do.
lrogers287 Posted September 21, 2024 Author Posted September 21, 2024 (edited) Thank you all so much. I successfully launched. Should I fix this LOOT error? I assume so. There are a number of patch advisories from LOOT. Should I apply what they suggest (as it was not included in the STEP instructions)? Edited September 21, 2024 by lrogers287

You dont have to bother about the rest of the Loot-messages. The Step patches takes care of that. Read "Final sorting and Cleaning" section at the end of Step 6.
lrogers287 Posted September 21, 2024 Author Posted September 21, 2024 Ok done and it launches fine. 1

Caveat: only pay attention to LOOT warnings (yellow) and errors (red) when running the Step build. The general advice is given without LOOT knowing that we've patched these ourselves in the Step Patches.
