It does run now, but I don't get tree LOD or textures for Skyrim and Solstheim.

DynDOLOD_SSE_log.txt

DynDOLOD_SSE_Debug_log.txt

Since you want to combine LOD from BSHeartland, you will need to uncomment that worldspace in DynDOLOD_SSE_worldspace_ignore.txt.

I also uploaded a new test version, that does not require this edit for combining, so give this a test and report results.

It would be nice if you could list all of the files needing to be Cleaned instead of forcing to close DynDOLOD, clean the mod, re-open DynDOLOD, wait for the process to arrive at the file and then ask for a Quick Clean for another file. Can you do a full checkup in the beginning, list all the files so we can clean the all and THEN we can run DynDOLOD properly. The check is nice, but I had to run DynDOLOD 4 times already, and still counting, to cleanup files from Creation Content of the Anniversary Edition. Already, SSEEdit does not permit the quick clean of more than one file so needing to run SSEEdit for every file and DynDOLOD for every possible file, the task becomes teadious.

https://dyndolod.info/Generation-Instructions#Prerequisites
Finalize the load order.
Clean every plugin that LOOT suggests to clean
Watch this video
The Batch Plugin Cleaner for Mod Organizer or the xEdit Cleaning Extension for Vortex help to automate some of that.

Despite expecting users to have rudimentary modding knowledge as explained on https://dyndolod.info, the basics of cleaning are explained/linked, also with a video and additional tools in the prerequisites of the generation instructions.
The LOOT tool listing plugins that need cleaning exists longer than DynDOLOD and is explained in every decent modding guide. Refer to its linked manual.
The linked GamerPoets video also explains that LOOT lists plugins that need to be cleaned at timestamp 1:14
Additional tools are linked to help speed up the process.

If you only started to clean dirty plugins because tools like DynDOLOD require it in order to work, then I suggest to learn the basics of modding by following a decent modding guide.

I'm aware, I wiped my Dyndolod folder and forgot to do that when I ran the last test version.

DynDOLOD_SSE_log

DynDOLOD_SSE_Debug_log

The result of the new one is identical. Everything looks fine except for Skyrim and Solstheim not getting trees or an atlas texture.

Ran into a Texconv error 80070020 (file access) updating my Dyndolod. I didn't have this issue before.

#"F:\Skyrim Tools\DynDOLOD\Edit Scripts\Texconvx64.exe" -nologo -gpu 0 -y -aw 256 -f DXT1 -bc d -o "F:\Skyrim Tools\DynDOLOD\DynDOLOD_Output\textures\DynDOLOD\LOD"
F:\Skyrim Tools\DynDOLOD\DynDOLOD_Output\textures\DynDOLOD\LOD\DynDOLOD_Tamriel_Alpha_n.dds

Dyndolod has issues accessing its own generated file?

Tried running MO2 as admin. Output folder is outside of MO2. I updated to alpha 198. Cleared out the install folder and deleted all dyndolod files in app data. I have checked the FAQ, and searched the forum to no avail.

Requesting assistance, thanks and have a nice day.

Read the first post and/or https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Post-Logs which DynDOLOD log, debug log and bugreport.txt to upload when making posts.

https://dyndolod.info/Help/Texconv
80070020 - The file can not be read or written to. Another process or thread is blocking access.

If closing all DynDOLODx64.exe/Texconvx64.exe in task manager and then restarting MO2 afterwards does not help, try rebooting Windows to clear it up.

I have read it and more, however, since this is rather a system or software issue, I didn't think these logs were of any use, except the error I've already identified with your wiki. I have now created new logs (see links), with a minimum plugin load out (same result). I restarted the PC as well.

I do not have a bug report to share.

For vanilla SSE plugins, LOOT will tell you which files need to be cleaned. The Step guide elaborates on how to do that.

I've fixed the access issue by disabling the defender real-time-protection for generating dyndolod. Didn't have that issue before. Might be helpful to others. Thanks and have a nice day.

I'm using SR Exterior Cities Series and I've noticed a few minor issues around Solitude, Markarth and Riften.  My first thought was to report it in the SR discord, but I decided to check if the issues exist when not using DynDOLOD and although different, the Solitude towers don't have the same problem.

I uploaded a new test version for you to try. It should generate the texture atlasses of the combined worldspaces again.

It should always work now, regardless of changing DynDOLOD_SSE_worldspace_ignore.txt or not. Please report results, upload new logs if there still is a problem.

Please also upload useful screenshots of the full models with more informative console so we know the reference and base record form IDs. See https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#In-Game-Screenshots

The two towers in Solitude are using the same model.

In Markarth there are a few of the rocks that are significantly darker.  There are probably a few more but aren't normally visible.

In Riften there's the two water gates which are dynamic.  There's also the deck of Honeyside and inside the city that's visible when swimming in the lake there's the railings of two of the bridges and the upper wooden deck.

The latest one works now and everything looks good in game as far as I can tell. Sorry for the trouble.

Out of curiosity, could I know what the problem was so that I can avoid causing a similar one in the future.

The item not found error was due to the BSHeartland worldspace not being commented in the DynDOLOD_SSE_worldspace_ignore.txt. It happened also in every older version.
The atlas textures not being generated was a regression due to updates to rendering processes.

Increase the already mentioned MaxTextureSize setting in E:\Skyrim VR jepster\tools\DynDOLOD\Edit Scripts\DynDOLOD\DynDOLOD_SSE.ini to 16384 or add TreeLODMaxAtlasSize=16384 to it.

I suggest to read the information in https://dyndolod.info/Help/Texture-Resolution how to test/find sensible texture resolutions. increasing by one step should be sufficient.

Also see https://dyndolod.info/Updating how to keep the content of the preset folder to automatically keep the settings of the last generation.

Upload new DynDOLOD log, debug log and bugreport.txt if it exists.

He Sheson, just checking in to confirm that all my issues are solved with the latest Dyndolod version. I am able to run with the 4k LoD settings without any further special configuration. Thanks a lot for the help
