GUIDE Optional Edit to Guide for Nemesis

Currently says:

1. Click on the button and select, [Create empty mod].
2. Name it Step SkryimSE - Nemesis Output.
3. Open the Executables menu and choose [Nemesis].
4. Tick the Create files in mod instead of overwrite (*) checkmark and select Step SkryimSE - Nemesis Output from the dropdown.
5. Click [Apply] and then [OK].

Optional edit:

1. Click on the button and select, [Create empty mod].
2. Name it Step SkryimSE - Nemesis Output.
3. Open the Executables menu and choose <Edit...>.
4. From the list of Executables choose Nemesis
5. Tick the Create files in mod instead of overwrite (*) checkmark and select Step SkryimSE - Nemesis Output from the dropdown.
6. Click [Apply] and then [OK].

Spent a few minutes trying to figure out what I was trying to find so this might help other inexperienced modders like myself.

 

Having said that I think I understand better what "Executables menu" means now

Where are you clicking on the Executables menu for <Edit...> option?

I changed it to:

1. Click on the button and select, Create empty mod.
2. Name it Step SkryimSE - Nemesis Output.
3. Click in the top menu and choose [Nemesis].
4. Tick the Create files in mod instead of overwrite (*) checkmark and select Step SkryimSE - Nemesis Output from the dropdown.
5. Click [Apply] and then [OK].

Click the Executables dropdown at the top right and click <Edit...> at the top of the list.

This opens the Modify Executables dialog so it's pretty much the same thing.

I never even noticed that option when clicking that dropdown, lol. I was trying to right click on those options.

Necro-posting this topic because this helped me a lot. I really recommend changing the guide to this language.
