world space and cell conflicts in xedit

How do I solve world space and cell conflicts which edit the same space/cell, can i just overwrite a mod with another one which i want to win? Will doing that cause any issues in game?

Rather than asking this as a general question, it would be easier if you would provide an example. Solving conflicts all depends on the data you are trying to modify, and the proper knowledge of what those changes do.
