Question

(This is a repost from the Nexus forums, as they could not, or would not, help me with this matter, since NMM is completely abandoned by the site entirely. I'd like some help with this, if at all possible. Thank you.)

Greetings everyone! I have a question in regards to MO2 and Nexus Mod Manager. I'm thinking of using MO2 to manage my mods from here on out, but I don't want to go through all the trouble of uninstalling NMM, making my games vanilla, reinstalling all my mods on MO2, praying to whatever Lovecraftian horror who'll listen that I got the load order perfect so that my saves are intact, etc, after I've already essentially done that with NMM after a factory reset almost a full year ago. Instead, since I've essentially got my mod list perfect for now, and will only use MO2 to install a (comparatively) few mods, I was hoping I could get the two organizers to work together.

My question is, how do I accomplish this? I'm aware that MO1 works just fine with NMM, but MO2 does not fare as well. When I tried to install ADAM Reborn for FNV on MO2, it simply would not register in my game, despite it being fully activated in the mod organizer. The only way I resolved this issue was by directly copying the files and esps directly to data (which I know at least one person is gonna get upset at me over). I know that MO2 does not touch the data folder, where as NMM lives and breathes there, but I was wondering if there is a way for the game to use both its data folder and MO2's mods folder at the same time to look for mods, however unlikely that must seem.

Again, how do I get MO2 and NMM to put aside their differences for the greater good? How do I use them together without having to migrate to MO2 outright for both FNV ans SKSE?

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Kindest regards,
Jonah

When you use Mod Organizer, you have to launch the game through Mod Organizer. In Mod Organizer, in the right panel above where you see all your plugins, there is a big dropdown. Select that dropdown and choose SKSE or NVSE and hit the run button to the right of that.
