F4NN
Can someone give me a fix for the "No game data on top level" bug for this mod? It seems to have been packaged incorrectly for MO and I accidentally skipped the tutorial to fix it. For the past hour I've been trying to figure it out. Thanks! phazer11
Um... this isn't a mod, it's a tool.
F4NN
Um... this isn't a mod, it's a tool.Yeah, sorry about calling it a mod but that doesn't solve my problem with the tool and MO. I just want to know how to organize the files so it works. Here's a picture of it incase you need it. https://imgur.com/WTuJ5jx
phazer11
You don't install it like a mod, you run the .exe (after opening the archive) and then click the folder icon and direct it to the folder you wish to optimize. Still don't know why you don't use DDSOpt but hey.

Still don't know why you don't use DDSOpt but hey.I'm just following the guide to install S.T.E.P and it tells you to use mod organizer. I'm just following the instructions but it doesn't have any on this problem. Is DDSOpt like this tool? I know I have that installed. If I do use this tool, am I not supposed to download it to MO? Would I direct it to the Skyrim folder to optimize it? Thanks.
peppergomez
Constructive feedback for the STEP instructions-- if there's no reason for us to use this tool after completing the DDS Opt process, I think the STEP page should tell us so. One less thing to worry about.
DoubleYou
For which reason we are dropping it from 2.2.9 as it is entirely redundant.
