monique1337 Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 I have a problem with the 2.10 version of STEP. Since you added vividian-extended weathers, I'm not sure how to run CoT. STEP requires vanilla extended weathers as a master, but I need the CoT patch, not vanilla. Can I just change the master to the CoT patch? Use both (probably not)? Or do I have to skip the compilation entirely?
Kelmych Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 I use Vivid Weathers and I had to remove the records in the STEP Extended patch for Vividian Extended weathers (there are only a few such records). You will likely need to do something similar to use CoT.
monique1337 Posted December 31, 2017 Author Posted December 31, 2017 Thanks, I'll give it a shot. Still have no idea why this was even included in it, let alone the core version, since it will basically have issues with any weather mod, even vivid weathers, unless you change it yourself.
Kelmych Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 Vividian Extended weathers provides some additions that are still close to the weathers in vanilla Skyrim. The STEP pack goal is to provide enhancements that remain fairly close to vanilla. Other weather mods like Vivid Weathers and CoT make major changes to Skyrim weather. They can, however, be added to a STEP build without a lot of effort.
