Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Recommended Posts

I have just updated my version of SRLE to be fully compatbile with USLEEP it was a quick a dirty way of doing it but it works.

uninstalled Unofficals patches found the mods that required them, then in TES5Edit renamed those mods in the file header to require USLEEP and not the Old unoffical patches

i did say it was quick and dirty.

The guide as it sits at this very moment is fully compatible with USLEEP except for Even Better Quest Objectives which I have personally disabled until its updated tomorrow.

Current Issue: The recent changes have made my RealisticWaterTwo.esp shoot up my load order (and out of place) so looking for an appropriate LOOT rule to fix it. Giving up for tonight, need sleep.

I did say it was quick a dirty methods I will do a proper complete update once most of the mods that required USKP have been updated it just i am too impatient to wait (plus it helps me to learn more about TES5Edit)

plus i have 2 copies of SRLE Installed so I can mess around with one and leave the other as it is in your guide (helps me when you update to keep it update).

For me it worked best to create a priority rule placing RW2 between alternate start and ELE. There is a version of farmhouse chimneys that is used in nearox SRLE/REGS pack that is merged with its patches. This version of farmhouse chimneys has alternate start as a master and overwrites lots of RW2 records if RW2 is not placed after it.

There isn't a realistic lighting esp in SRLE... so look in the data tab and see where it's coming from.

Great i figured it out, thanks. Messing the ENB manger up, started a chain of effects which lead to RL.esp in it and so on. Two questions Neovalen (i hope i don't ask for too much...).

1.) Should i do the whole conflit resolution part of the guide again, since realistic lightning.esp isn't in there anymore?  And if i do so, should i delete all the DynDOLOD files in the left pane and the "SRLE Profile" overwrite folder aswell?

2.) Sometimes the Candle light glitches out, when i turn the camera infront of a candle. In a specific angle the lightning "shuts down" and everything lies in shadows. What could cause that? Is it the 6 remaining dirty plugins and should i clean them?

Like Darth , i have decided to also wait  with my playthrough  of Skyrim .

I was gonna do one but the resent onslaught of major  mods being updated  which in turn requires other mods to be updated  has made me wait untill the guide is back in a stable form  +  waiting till  SRLE+ explorers guide is finished as well .

Ill still go back ingame sometimes  just to screw around in it when bored  ( read : spawn an army of werewolfs  in different holds and watch the ensuing carnage :p )

with the release of USLEEP and the fact there is now a merge Pulgin for Bijin's Mods and i have merged Brows, Breads, Eyes of beauty and Northborn Scars (will merge CACO patches at some point), my plugin count is back under 200 makes me much happier means I have some headroom.

I just wanna say thank you so much for not only making this guide but updating it as well.  I have been religiously checking your guide alot lately.  And I love the whole layout and everything.  I have not played Skyrim yet, even though I bought Skyrim Legendary Edition on a Steam sale for $19.99, which was out of nowhere when I checked the steam site.  I have also copied the whole guide in my word document while recently updating info like you did on your guide.  I will probably use most of the mods you listed anyways.  And use your guide as a resource.  I haven't install the game yet because I'm lately trying to save up to build my own desktop which will probably be done by mid to late next year.  I'm too excited about this game.  I just found out about this game like 2-3 months ago, watching a lets play of skyrim and I absolutely fell in love with it.  So I took this let's player's list and researched the mods that she used.  And downloaded most of the mods.  I do apologize for my babbling but once again thank you thank you thank you so much for making this guide for a nooby like myself who just bought the game in legendary edition last month.

I only worry with both CWO and DCO is the reported bugs and breaking things... In SR:LE I've tried quite hard to make sure things remain a stable experience. That being said, I've used DCO before and did not experience any major bugs but I know there is one with Miraak boss fight. CWO I hear of things randomly breaking in battles... but I have not actually used it.
