Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Recommended Posts

Ok I won't ask... what was your mistake? :;):

Regardless of where the Microsoft installer is placing the SDK, all you need to do is replace that path in the commandline.

simply replace the highlighted text with:

"C:\program files (x86)\Microsoft Kits\8.1a\bin\NETFX 4.5.1 Tools\corflags.exe" /32bit+ "c:\Program Files (x86)\steam\steam apps\common\skyrim\papyrus compiler\papyruscompiler.exe"

"C:\program files\Microsoft Kits\8.1a\bin\NETFX 4.5.1 Tools\corflags.exe" /32bit+ "c:\Program Files (x86)\steam\steam apps\common\skyrim\papyrus compiler\papyruscompiler.exe"

All that needs to called is the "corflags.exe", it makes no difference where the commandline is pointing as long as that file is found there.

on one hand I thought that the folder name shouldn't be a big deal, but on the other hand I thought maybe if it was default installing into Program Files and not Program Files (x86) (as Neo's instructions indicate), then maybe it wasn't installing properly or maybe I wasn't getting the right stuff.

anyway, I haven't tested it out yet, but I'm thinking that there is a slight possibility that maybe perhaps I shouldn't actually type "<Full Skyrim Path>" and instead replace that with some other stuff, like, the full skyrim path, could be. I'm so embarassed

The biggest issue is between Immersive Citizens & JK's Skyrim + ETaC. You could switch out JK's Skyrim for Dawn of Skyrim, disable the REGS Patch - Riften Navfull (it has JK's Skyrim as master, you could get the version that is relying on Dawn of Riften and was posted a couple of weeks ago somewhere in the REGS forum and use WB to change masters to DawnofSkyrim-Allmajorcities.esp) and go with a modular install of ETaC. The problem areas for ETaC are Riverwood, Whiterun outskirts and Dragon Bridge I think(?) I only removed the Whiterun Outskirts optional ('Immersive Whiterun' + its CRF and ELFX patches) and decided to keep the rest. I'm just hoping the issues won't be that noticeable :P I loaded IC after ETaC and its patches.

had the same problem when i merged with hunterborn..it's located in data\interface and should be in Bathing in Skyrim Merge\interface\translations\*.txt

Ok, I copied the file from Bathing in Skyrim's main file into the merged patch file and still have the same problem. Either I'm missing something fundamental here or something is messing up my merging.
