Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Recommended Posts

Speaking of Wrye Bash - the splash screen wasn't updated for 304.4 but the actual version is correct.

Yep... Noticed that.

I was checking for updated mods and wondered... is Skyrim Flora Overhaul v2.0c going to be considered for SR:LE or is the ugrids needed to get the best form it still stopping its inclusion?

I have it on my PC as I run ugrids 9 myself but hard to recommend for everyone until LODs are done... I did note a few issues also however... Bandit by the tower outside bleak falls barrow inside a tree (he was "leaning" on the vanilla tree).

um Neovalen, I have to ask you a question.

Is Skyrim Revisited : Legendary Edition be used as it is, or used as a basis.

I ask this because, well I usually go mad by installing tons and tons and tons of mods, ending with an unstable, full of merge game.

As it is, I don't know what do to, I'd like to add requiem but it will imply to add more and more to benefit fully from it.

Hey Neo

I'm finally getting around to updating the new conflict resolutions that you did and either I'm confused or there is a typo.  For

you say to use the record from deadly dragons and bring forward the script from the USKP but the script is part of deadly dragons.  There is, however, the "WI" property that is in the USKP that is buried by the DD.esp so I wasn't sure if you meant to bring that forward or if I'm missing something.  I'm still getting through the new edits so those are the only 3 that I have found so far.

You can use it any way you like but things will keep getting added that modify gameplay, etc. It is already complete enough to be used as is but things can be added on top if so desired.

You can check vs my downloadable patch or I can check when I get home. The intent is to bring forward the WI property iirc as that script is from uskp and is not included with DD.

Do you know what the "cantwait hascurrents" record does under combat style/record flags?  EFF has it in the XFL Plugins.esp for several of the csHuman records and the defaulcombatstyle record and I'm not sure if it is safe to overwrite with either Erso's enemy ai or skyre's enemy ai module.  I tried to google it but couldn't find any information on it.  I'm not sure why eff would edit those records to begin with but I'm guessing that, since it does, it must be something important but I really have no idea.

Thanks.

I have found a minor bug in Atlas Map Markers with the pond with the skeleton arm with the sword near Whiterun being called "The Lad of the Lake" instead of "The Lady of the Lake".

I will report it to the author but if anyone wants to fix it in their own playthrough using TES5EDIT, here is the line to edit...

Atlas Legendary.esp - Worldspace - 0000003C Tamriel - 00000D74 - Persistent - 050F41CD - Map Marker - FULL Name - The Lady of the Lake

Hi Neo,I am in the process of re-creating the SR Conflict Resolution.esp, based on the wiki documentation, and I found some differencesbetween the downloaded copy and the documentation, not sure if these differences have been left over from your testing, but wanted to check. This is what I have found so far:Armor section  0701961C DLC2TT2EnchNelothsRing  Conflict Resolution: Use record from Clothing & Clutter Fixes.esp then move the    MagicDisallowEnchanting keyword from Unofficial Dragonborn Patch.esp. Remove the TNAM - Template Armor.  Problem Resolved: Fixes from unofficial patches were not properly forwarded. This seems to be not needed as the Clothing & Clutter Fixes.esp, already has these changes.Book  00026700 MGR01Book1  Conflict Resolution: Use record from Book Covers Skyrim.esp then move the DESC - Book Text    from Cutting Room Floor.esp.  Problem Resolved: Changes from Book Covers Skyrim and Cutting Room Floor needed to be merged.Seems that the OBND - Object Bounds > Z2 property was changed to 1, were all over esp's are set to 2.  0005D2EA FreeformWinterholdCollegeANotes  Conflict Resolution: Use record from Book Covers Skyrim.esp then move the DESC - Book Text    from Cutting Room Floor.esp.  Problem Resolved: Changes from Book Covers Skyrim and Cutting Room Floor needed to be merged.Seems that the DATA - Data > Value from  Cutting Room Floor.esp, was also moved.

I can answer the Book one for you... I recently recalculated the OBND values for users of the Bookshelves Updated Script SKSE mod so that we could fit a more accurate number of books onto a shelf since there were many variations of OBND values in vanilla. After a hiccup where I revised the OBND by hand because the CK was a bit over-zealous, the standard books are now set to -9 -11 -1 9 11 2.

This gives 29 thin books on a shelf instead of the vanilla 18. The exact width of a thin book is 3.25 but I am bound to integer values so had to select 3.0 as the width rather than 4.0.

As for the text changes in Cutting Room Floor, I will have a look and see what it is. If it is a lore-friendly edit, I can easily include it in the next version of BCS. I will check vs USKP for edits too. I think it is relating to Faralda's Notes which were originally a Note and are currently a Journal in BCS and Tolfdir's Book which has revised or tidied text in Cutting Room Floor.

===

EDIT : I have made the following changes which will be in the next release of Book Covers (no date set yet)...

Faralda's Notes - Value and text contents from Cutting Room Floor but Journal model, OBND and weight from Book Covers Skyrim.

Tolfdir's Book - Contents from Cutting Room Floor.

This should mean that those edits in the Conflict Resolution Patch can go at the next Book Covers release.

"Lad of the Lake" is actually correct.  This is how the location is listed in the Prima guide.
