Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Recommended Posts

Well I really enjoy Somber (the normal version) although it's not set up for CoT or ELFX. Also performance-wise it's way better for me, maybe because I don't have SLI who knows?

About the override... I know how to create the copy new override option to a new file, but which column do I select for it? This copies the entire contents of the column you select as far as I know.

Hey neo, I finished the guide sometime on Monday. IMO you really should put more information into the conflict resolution part. It's not the first time for me using TESVEdit, but for example changing the OBIS bandit record was a bit unclear to me. You can just add another subguide for the changes that are not standard and keep the standard procedure as a small introduction at the beginning of the section.

I also noticed some conflicts that weren't resolved. Is this intentional or did you miss sth?

Why is Better Dialogue Controls part of the guide while Better MessageBox Controls isn't? Are the message box controls fixed in one of the (un)official patches already?

Edit: I notice that Better MessageBox Controls is listed as Redundant. I still wonder what has fixed this issue though.

Generally i investigate any conflicts and resolve them. Others don't need resolving and are intentional. If you have questions about one in particular shoot me a pm.

Love the guide, Neovalen!

Here's a very minor thing I noticed:

In the step for "Bring Out Your Dead", there's no special instructions to remove the BSL and TXT files.

Just for consistency. :P

Thanks, will look tonight.

Extensible Follower Framework includes this fix.

I believe Extended Followers Framework has inherited the changes.

I noticed there is a Book Covers of Sky rim patches mod which includes patch for Complete Crafting, among others (including The Choice is Yours which I also use plus Reqiem and Skyre).

Yup - the Complete Crafting one only changes the text of three books to cope with renamed raw materials. TCIY amends one Note. I have recently added support for Non-Automatic Skill Books and will soon be helping REZ Sorting Mod get a little more exposure.

Neo, for the Chargen mod, do we download Core + both Morphs files (so 3 main files in total) or only the file " CharGen Morphs v2-1-4" .

I'm not sure what ' ECE'  refers to in the 3rd main file.

ECE is enhanced character edit. Do not use that file.
