Neovalen Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Do we know if it will be DX9 or DX11?It's 64 bit, so DX11 is almost guaranteed.
hellanios Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 It's 64 bit, so DX11 is almost guaranteed.Yes, but it could support DX9 as a least requirement and DX11 for recommended.
TechAngel85 Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 It's not something that has been officially confirmed. It'll probably be on the System Requirements when they are released.
Guest Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Yes, but it could support DX9 as a least requirement and DX11 for recommended.I'll just leave this here again: https://developer.nvidia.com/content/terrain-godrays-better-use-dx11-tessellation
Greg Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 https://twitter.com/DCDeacon/status/743170497752371200 Chatting w/Todd just now, able to confirm on Skyrim SE for PC:64-bitSaves should transferSeparate creation kit to upload mods to Bnet This seems to indicate saves are compatible and we'll be getting a new Creation Kit, although I'm not so keen on mods being segregated on Nexus, Steam, and Bethesda.net.

Nebulous112 Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 So every mod needs to be at least run through the new CK... thats gonna kill any abandoned mods.If all that needs to be done is to load the mod in CK and save it, couldn't users just do that? Some mods currently need to be cleaned in xEdit, etc. People could just make this CK saving a similar (albeit annoying) habit with mods that weren't updated since SSE release.
Kesta Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 If all that needs to be done is to load the mod in CK and save it, couldn't users just do that? Some mods currently need to be cleaned in xEdit, etc. People could just make this CK saving a similar (albeit annoying) habit with mods that weren't updated since SSE release.Once changes to the .esp have been figured out, we could even get an xEdit script to take care of that the same way as we clean mods actually. I think Beth can not see the problem, because they only think with Bethesda.net in mind, and mods will need to be loaded in the CK before being uploaded there anyway.
TechAngel85 Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 I was thinking the same this hole time. It might be as simple as xEdit script to make mods compatible. As far as abandoned mods, we can only hope that Nexus will change the views and ToS, but don't count on it. The parlor view in the community is really becoming apparent with this news. Open Modding! Viva la revolution!
TechAngel85 Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 No more abandon mod talk here please. Lets stay on topic. I've split the posts off to here: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/10758-abandoned-mods/ Continue replying there please.

I thought I may have gone back in time before those posts were made or something.
Fantomax Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Skyrim Remastered? So we might need to buy it again just for some improvements? No, thanks. I'll stick with ol' Skyrim + mods. The fact it only supports 64-bit only disgusts me more. I prefer TES6
Nebulous112 Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 It will be free for anyone who has Skyrim and all DLCs on Steam.
