SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn

I have, in nozzer's words, self delivered an uppercut. It turns out I had missed the fixed mesh installation instructions for installing real roads. -

ok game is running well, except when i try to choose the solitude start with Dyndolod active. Crash fixes throws me this error. "Skyrim has crashed because an object reference with form ID: 0x6885A, base form ID: 0x1CD87 and type: 0x22 failed to produce loaded node most likely due to corrupted mesh or other reasons." Forum search turned up a problem similar that was fixed by re-installing stunning statues and making sure the subdirectory of meshes for no snow under the roof was correct. I did that, and re ran dyndolod. still getting same crash. EDIT. Checking in tes5edit. The first form id is solitude exterior, from main skyrim esm and USLEEP. the base form id is referenced by skyrim esm, landscapes merged, and dyndolod esp. it is referencing a mesh from Real roads. should i reinstall real roads? rerun texgen.exe? or both? new to dyndolod so kind of lost here. -

Yes just now. Found an old thread on this forum where another user had same issue. Was caused by an error between skytest and the CR. Going to check now if I installed proper versions of skytest and it's patches. As a error check in tes5edit revealed a problem record referencing "encwolfice" and deleting said record fixed the issue. -

OK wierd issue. Finished install went to load game. Get to main menu screen. Logo shows up but no menu. Narrowed problem down to the CR esp. But no idea how to fix it or what to look for in TES 5 edit to clear it up. Game loads fine without it active. The second I load the CR it won't even give me a menu? Suggestions? -

Once I create the bashed patch can i set all esp files that were merged into it to hidden in the left pane of MO so they are not still visible in right pane? -

36 hours... dang lol. I'm just now getting to the npc textures after a week and a half. But I work 6 days a week so time is an issue. First time I installed it I was on vacation took 4 days. -

Using option 2 npc retextures. Got to mature skin. It says optional but for the npc version 2... can I replace this with my favorite skin texture mod? Or are there any dependencies on mature skin? Personally dislike that texture -
SKYRIMLE SRLE extended LOTD. Suggestions for new additions.

It's nozzer's guide and I am quite happy to support whatever direction he takes it. The guide as is as well as Neos old conflict resolution sub page, teach us enough about advanced modding that we can pretty much add anything we want into the build ourselves. For our own use. If some of us want to use a couple steam exclusive mods like the quest series that can't be found elsewhere, then gopher has an excellent video on making a steam mod installable via mod organizer. No need to pressure nozzer or be rude as a certain post was above. Darth mathias trusted nozzer to take the project over. That's all the confirmation I need to support whatever direction nozzer wants to take the guide in. -

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/82708/? Adds ks hairdos to npcs without changing their faces. With its patches for faalskar and wsco as well as many other mods could be a great addition to option 1 of npc retextures -

doing a test install of new guide and found this. , under the install for LOTD v18 final. should this loot update not be moved further down the guide to the section for ELFX? seeing as its plugin is the one we are updating the metadata of? other than that so far looks great. "Loot Metadata Update Required:EnhancedLightsandFX.esp - Load After LegacyoftheDragonborn.esp" -

This is an amazing guide. one thing its missing is a music overhaul. I understand that everyone's taste is different and that plugin space is an issue, but I have a suggestion that I have used with this guide for over 2 months with zero issues. Music Mods merged. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68256 What I like about this is that you can install as many or as few of the music mods as wanted.. including the option to install music from oblivion/morrowind if you have those games. all it does is provide an esp, either replacer or non replacer as you want, to use music from pretty much every major music mod out there. users can decide which ones are best suited to their tastes. sadly immersive music is down but all of the other music mods he links to are still up. just a suggestion, keep up the good work. -

Many thanks for all your hard work. I learned more about advanced modding concepts following this guide for 4 months than I did in 5 years of stumbling around modding by myself. Thanks for your contributions to the modding community, for the patience you have shown to many newbs such as myself, and for the amazing guide, and the vision and commitment to see it to completion. thankyou. best of luck with everything. -

would it be harmful to create a TES5edit merge patch to go right above the bashed patch or no? any benifits/dangers? -

Has it been tested to install the apachii hair versions of inhabitants of skyrim instead of just the face tweaks versions? For those of us that want to keep the same sort of look we got from the old srle optional npc retex section? -

I had same issue with that. Ended up taking it out of the merge and placing it near bottom of load order. -

Has anyone added the most recent update of beyond reach to their load order on top of the guide? Suppoosed to be stable now and supposedly only touches a couple soundtracks from the base game according to its reddit thread. -

I dropped in dawn of whiterun with zero issues. (For the person looking to drop in a city overhaul without patching) Question. I have in my load order, the srle lotd conflict resolution, a modified srle extended CR with ONLY the edits affecting civil war overhaul, a Claralux CR, and a few of the newly added civil war overhaul CR files... can i merge all of those into a single esp and if so what order should i use other than alphabetical for the ones jd smith provided? -

Shoudnt cwo be fine with that edit though as it was the only edit in last guide and was stable then? Or what fixes would need to be made? (If you have time, pm me about it, very interesyed in adding cwo to my load order) -
hmm. what does your crash fixes ini file look like? can you post it in spoiler tags? as well do you have the latest version of crash fixes downloaded? I had several mysterious crashes until I checked version and updated to latest. Could also check your enb settings in enb local.ini. by default, ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true, but if you read the page description on nexus it is very clear to set it to ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false. I was getting a "failed to allocate memory crash once per hour or so until i changed this. also, did you make sure to install skse plugin preloader as per guide instructions?
