SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn

Sorry to ask again but to be clear, sept 4 guide requires the old files version of CR on the nexus and NOT the new npc standalone CR as well? -

Does the CR main file from yesterday still include the old npc retexture CR? Using the guide from sept 4 now and it doesnt mention downloafing the npc CR separately. -

Curious if anyone else had this issue? and @edynacio to fix this do you mean you simply deleted this file from the caribou gone mod before running dyndolod? asking as i am soon to run dyndolod on my installation of SLREX LOTD and want to avoid having same issue. -

question.. i know when merging plugins the merge is supposed to go in left pane beneath all mods it is merging the esp's of. just did the landscape environment and clutter merge and according to integration guide it is supposed to go right after farmhouse chimneys merge, which places it 3 slots above blowing in the wind, who's esp is included in the merge. is this correct or should i move the merge to below blowing in the wind b4 deactivating the blowing in the wind mod? -

For the lod problem of whiterun trees a few pages back does one still have to do the fix detailed by paul? Or does latest conflict resolution fix it by itself? -

Oooooo.... if we can add the new ultimate npc overhaul that would be amazing! Loved the old mod. New version looks even better. Prob a lot of conflict resolution to add it though, maybe could add to a future version of the merged npc retexture esp? -

Sorry for an offshoot idea but I was wondering if we should create an official slre screenshot thread. Where you post your best screenshots along with telling whether using base or lotd or the old extended version of slre as well as what enb and what (if any) graphical changes you made to base guide. -

just finished the collectables stage working on the flora changes now. ok update.. for some weird reason, deleting the line -forcesteamloader and retyping it fixzed the memory issue, im now clocking 512 in block one. but still getting instant CTD loading any outdoor cell, whether by loading into an interior cell then trying to go outside, or by using coc commands -

so go on with install? im still getting instant CTD trying to load any outdoor cell.. all indoor cells work fine. no message from crash fixes when i crash either. Could it be something that will resolve itself once i get to the Conflict resolution stage? -

ok i am totally lost. Crash fixes ini has the two tweaks set to 1. SKSE ini only has the tints set in it. memory blocks log is still reporting block 1 as 256. and still crashes any outdoor cell. SLRE base profile is runnin g fine, with same settings in all inis, (double checked Crash fixes ini, and SKSE. ini) its memory blocks log is reporting block 1 512. my SKSE loader has -forcesteamloader set in arguments. google is telling me nothing.. why isnt this profile recognizing the memory fix? to be clear, SKSE ini reads... [General] ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 [Display] iTintTextureResolution=2048 and crash fixes ini has [Patch] UseOSAllocators=1AlignHeapAllocate=1CustomMemoryBlock=1CustomMemoryBlockTotalSizeMb=96 -

ok tis may be a dumb question.. I reset my SKSE ini to SLRE base defaults now my, ie , 512 for default, but for some reason its not applying to game? as my memory blocks log is reading as follows. Block1 Block2 256MB 256MB Why isnt it seeing the ini where I have set Default heap to 512? also have the SLRE Base Allocator tweak set in skse.ini as well as -forcesteamloader set in MO. -

I will check that and report back, only tweaked SKSE.ini as the guide for the LOTD versions says at top, " SKSE.iniIt is advised to adjust the following in your SKSE.ini file: [Memory] DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=1024 ScrapHeapSizeMB=256" Ah you replied as I was typing this lol. i shall report back in a sec with that change -

ok question.. at top of guide it says and i quote... "Best advice when installing SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn is to test after each section, if you CTD or ILS after a section then you know something needs adjusting." Well ive just got to end of the colletables and treasure hunts and whenever i try to load an outside cell i get a CTD. This is with the original SR CR mod disabled as well as Dyndolod and profile folders for SLRE BASE disabled. No message from crash fixes.. my memory blocks log telling me default heap size is 768 which makes no sence seeing as i put it to 1024 manually in SKSE.ini. but no message from crash fixes makes me wonder if its not a VRAM issue? i have 4064 set as im running windows 10 and have a 4 GB grpahics card -

Will they cause CTD tho? Or impossible to say without further testing? -
Or what about adding Claralux to the LOTD guide?
-
Forgive the noob question but how would I go about CR for this mod? I watched the video on Neos guide found it quite confusing
-
Question... I would love to install just Claralux on top of the current SLRE LOTD extended guide..... should I be good to go or will I have to install any patches? What about custom CR I will have to do? And if so.. I find CR very confusing. Can anyone point me at some sort of "dummies guide" for it? Thanks for any answers

If your making major changes but one wants to follow the guide as is now.. any way to keep a link to guide as is now without fut8re updates? Asking cause I have 20 mins or so a day to Game with work and RL so following a guide like this takes 2 weeks and I'd like to avoid any big changes mid install -
Wondering why the additional patch for elfx is needed? As I installed this for my base SLRE a week ago. Simply used the vivid weathers version and kept the in game data files from vividian for the vivid weathers Merge. Had too much of an fps loss with the enb DOF so disabled it and used dynavision for DOF and then used imaginator to tweak the colors. Not noticing any bugs.. the dungeons are a LOT darker than they were with vividian and elfx but I find it better looking. The elfx effects still work well light comes only from sources and has realistic levels. Wondering though.. if I don't install the ELFX patch will I run into stability issues later?

i like verdant as well but for some reason suffer random ctds when using it even with a vanilla skyrim install. UBG2 has always had zero issuies for me but is a tad more fps heavy -

personally not a fan of vurts grasses.. wondering if instead of SFO on steroids one could install Unbelievable Grass 2 as it uses the same tweak from the original Grass on steroids mod? and if doing so would one have to update the conflict resolution at all? -
After some reading I am going to try creating a partition on my hard drive and re-installing windows 7 so I can dual boot. That part seems simple enough. My question is is there anyway besides transferring my game folder to a flash drive, to transfer my game folder to the Windows 7? I only have 1 hard drive on the machine and buying another or an ssd is not really an option atm. Any help is appreciated. I'd like to transfer my mod organizer setup containing over 300 sorted and edited mods without having to reinstall and download whole thing.
