  1. Looking at Loot vs Horizon. I've used both before, Horizon had come a long way in a short time. How things should be: I've not played survival mode FULL STOP. I've looked at about 12 different mods and how they handle "Balancing" I'm a little confused with remove healing effect from food and raise the RAD Damage they seem to all do. Personally I'd be inclined to lower healing and increase HOT i.e. (instead of 10hp over 3sec i'd have 2hp over 15sec) For Rad damage I'd have things like Mirelurks/Radscorpions would have higher Rads other creatures (even though they have mutated) would have lower Rads Crops Med Rads. Cooked Food would have Low/Nil Rads (IF the ingredients are not soaked in RAD Source) but use the "Lead Belly" and "(Magazine) Wasteland Survival #03" perks to alleviate it.Comments?
  2. As I'm fiddling with the Balance/realism/survival thingy I'll reto-activaly-auto-magicly mend/adjust the CORE and modern weapons so it's all consistent. Anyone one know of a durability mod (that is not script based) There was one so AP rounds were more useful but it's hidden... I'd like to mend equipment and weapons.

I'll remove them soonish I just have not had a chance to get back to the CORE in a while there are lots of things to do just time is my enemy.....

  5. I fixed A boo-boo I made, and while I was doing it, I thought I might share so you can do-it-yourself!! Or at least have an idea what your looking for when creating/checking you own mods LL. (Check your BASH Patches ZOMG!!!!) This video is a bit more complex but straight forward. If you have questions ask so I can make better instructional vids.   6. You can just have place everywhere in the FO4 folder just have to disable the mod in MO2. If you want it to work in MO2 try putting CustomControlMap.txt in the empty \Fallout 4\Data\F4SE folder (the file is located in the F4SE zip file)

  11. So I've stared at it for a bit. I think....(the other mods for ingestables were just cruel and unusual punishment.) Cooking 101 and Chem 101 as food/chem controllers Mashup of FO4 LOOT and Horizons for level lists and other stuff This will give you a progression feel (with level/perk requirements) with useful food that can cook(Not kill you 35 rads for eating a squirrel?). I'll make up a preliminary patch so you can look at balance in comparison to those other mods you guys listed.

I'm not looking to add a bunch of mods to the CORE but make the Realism/survival base. The Core - All the basic stuff and Overhauls for vanilla+ experience.   15. Leveled Lists? Clothing/weapons/items are all done.....There is a 'new" mod coming that will be the base for all that (doubt it will be bash compatible. Hmm would you like a quick vid on how to add your mod's level lists?
  16. Project Overlord Looks Very interesting basically Modern weapons with CORE and some new mods in a single esp? this is excellent!!! I can delete the modlist and point it to that.......;) JK Might have a serious look at it to be the base for modern weapons then streamline the Wiki for it. wow soo much extra work. zzzzz Seen the RIP one.

No I haven't I was persisting with the other one as I wanted to make crafting edits to do a material swap on the PA Frames I've located this https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15399/? and currently looking at it to perform the task (so you can have multiple PA Skins.) Rechambering Plus; Also testing/looking at this. I don't use Weaponsmith/Loads, etc. but like the added functionality here, and I like that it makes pipe weapons more useful. My ideal situation is one in which advanced weaponry is much more difficult to come by, and places a lot of emphasis on crafting. Y'know, destroyed world and all. Pipe weapon overhaul adds a Calibers+loads like function - old realism section Moved away from WOF as the tracers were not to my liking.
  19. Arbitration: I only use the AI section of it in modern weapons (I know it's wasteful) the reason it's there is that I've parked it till I decide to Push the wiki. If I start balancing the game via mods It will limit the user base of the patches. I may start the realism section back up. Was removed as It required Divine intervention to get the patch working again. Other then the mods you have pointed out, are there any game-play balance/overhaul mods you would recommend? A list is cool I just DL them and scan in fo4edit

Well The wiki has been heading this way for some time in my mind. with mods like these I have to choose the direction of the play-style the Patches would provide. I'll have a think over it.....

  22. Shoot them in the Face!! Then complete the Bounty quest to return the faction to friendly. I recall one of the Minute Men Overhauls have a cross patch for Gunners might dig around for that. Also could be a UF4P script issue I'll examine it later, Thanks for the heads up.   24. I'll make a ADDON section tonight for food/crops an you can have a play/review I'd like to make wastland survival more important to game play rather than a useless talent.
  25. It's a heavy ENB Not recommended to <980 on a 1070 I bearly notice it running other than heaps of lighting areas and loading to menu time
