  1. Darth I dropped you a PM with link to the full texture pack. Not sure if the forums send notifications on PM so thought I'd drop a forum message.
  2. Are arrays not a thing in Papyrus?
  3. Alrighty; I'll send you a PM with the URL once it's done uploading. It'll probably be a while... I have fast internet but large files are large lol.
  4. Very few things are NEEDED... SMC is a large visual upgrade. Whether or not it's worth it is something people have to decide for themselves. Actually integrating it into an existing SRLEX installation is pretty trivial... the bit that takes time is gathering all the mods. Darth to help you evaluate I could just archive my Texture Pack directory (the one with all the individual mods) and let you grab it from a private dropbox or something to save you the time of having to manually grab them all.
  5. Their mod page is very explanatory; everything needed to know about is there. I can answer any questions you may have. I assume since this is a STEP guide you won't be advocating the act of locating the handful of mods that were removed/taken down but they aren't required to make use of SMC... If, however, you are interested in locating those mods I can assist with that as well. My SMC install has everything except one mod that appears to literally be no longer on the internet. One thing you probably will need to do... open up the smc ini file and set the flag for force dlc. For whatever reason it couldn't tell that I had the DLC available so it didn't offer up the full mod list to me until then.
  6. Yes, I'm well aware that it's a script... doesn't change the fact that we can create our own patch for it. I'm a professional software developer I'm sure there are others in this community that are as well.
  7. Couldn't we create a LoTD Patch that has it look for the new merge file rather than the individual ones? Edit: Sorry somehow I missed dunc's post... he's already said the same thing I was getting at.
  8. Another vote for SMC. I run the full SMC pack (minus one mod simply unavailable.. anywhere) with SRLEX right now and man is it gorgeous. Have to pull out a few esps for merging into existing merges but overall once SMC was installed it only took an hour or so to get all integrated with SRLEX.. not counting patchers/dyndolod running.
  9. NLVA w/ Rudy and the alternative/additional texture packs weren't to be pleased with less... It was, in my mind, a large visual improvement. Rudy's default letterbox is 12% of the screen though... was a bit excessive so I dropped it to 8% Looks better that way imo. But yeah, strong video cards are awesome. I really want a 1080 but hard to justify to the wife since i bought my 6GB 980ti within the last year. :(
  10. I'll try to get a few shots later today. All I have right now is one I did while testing stability earlier before mcm setup and such. This is running at 3440x1440 getting 30-40fps out doors. I've since dropped the letterbox down to 8% from the 12% in the screenie.. was just a bit too big. This is using a few extra/different texture packs and NLVA w/ Rudy ENB rather than Vividian.
  11. I thought I'd try out a few different ENBs and noticed that my exterior shadows were just CRUSHED. I also tried with NLVA since some of the enb's I was running weren't set up for vivid weathers... totally crushed with both. I have always just used vividian with the srle setup so I'm not sure what to do to go about fixing this up. Below I've included a few screenshots from daytime headed up towards bleak falls barrow. https://imgur.com/a/vbq4G These next two were taken at roughly the same time of day with an exterior interior (tower near bleakfalls barrow..) scene and and a fully lit one out of the shadows. https://imgur.com/a/mRYP3 These particular screenshots are with NLVA rather than VW but I had very similar results with VW. I tried a few different ENB presets with similarly super dark shadows during broad daylight. My ini files are at.. 12. Correct. I did not mean to imply they were part of DBM only that they are supported with displays and require minimal CR Sorry for the confusion
  13. I updated to Crash Fixes 12 for the crash dump functionality. I'm not sure how useful this may be but.. CrashFixPluginLog.txt: 13 Jul 19:38:29 Game has crashed with exception address 0xF52FBC! crash_2016_07_13_19-38-29.txt: Crash info:2016_07_13_19-38-29 - F52FBC: V(1); EAX(9); EBX(1B37900); ECX(0); EDX(1); ESI(8); EDI(1B37930); EBP(1FC9FEA0); ESP(1FC9FE98); STACK(F52361 60C0F5 9049FE 8C7C32 8C7C5B 401739 8C89B7 B333C0 6F4473 6F3A33 A4E31E A4BB02 A4B4A9 A4B4A0 A4B4A0); Still seeing issues with CACO_AltFloraScript and a few others pretty commonly as the last 3-4 lines of papyrus when it crashes. Error: (0300ED61): cannot enable an object with an enable state parent.stack:[ (0300ED61)].CACO_AltFloraScript.Enable() - "<native>" Line ?[ (0300ED61)].CACO_AltFloraScript.OnCellDetach() - "CACO_AltFloraScript.psc" Line 51 I guess I'll just binary search the mod list until i find the culprit.
  14. Are you planning on adding the BadGremlin mods? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/63537/? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69522/? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/62340/? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25956/? They integrate with their own displays in the DBM and the CR work is mostly forwarding some USLEEP changes IIRC.
  15. It's definitely repeatable.. I've done it four or five times now. The direction of running doesn't seem to matter... after a very short time speed-running roughly the distance from riverwood to lake inalta it'll CTD with no message.
  16. Yes. Speccy is kind of old, it's probably using a 32bit integer for reporting the ram size.. which would roll over at 4gb.. thus leaving 2gb reported afterwards. When I can get back to my desktop I'll confirm with GPU-z
  17. Ah, I did all of the updates last night so I would have missed changes from this morning. I'll check that loot rule and see if it makes a difference. Thanks! My 980ti is 6gb; not sure why speccy reported it at 2GB.
  18. There were a couple cases during load that crash fixes reported an issue during foot IK. The crashes I speak of above were after successful loads and result in a CTD with no message from crash fixes.
  19. I've gone through and updated an older (month or two out of date) SRLEX install to the latest and thinking maybe I missed something. After finishing the update I've tried some stress testing but am crashing within around 3m of starting the game during a speed run from riverwood to basically anywhere. My stress test method was pretty standard: coc Riverwood wait on mcm menus to finish loading tcl tgm player.setav speedmult 1500 Run in any direction staying near the ground. If I point myself down river i tend to crash somewhere above the lake.. I make it a similar distance in other directions. My papyrus log is showing some fairly consistent errors. Papyrus Log at: https://pastebin.com/jCNEqCqu Load order at: https://pastebin.com/6XCuRtps PC Specs at: https://speccy.piriform.com/results/sBF4b8N4gwlXL5duWLtZY2k Any thoughts? My previous install felt fairly stable but I never stress tested it like this so I'm not sure what to expect. Maybe this is normal and loading this much this fast is expected to crash and burn? Unrelated to the above... what sort of performance would you expect someone with my pc specs to get in exteriors?
  20. Thanks for clearing that all up red! :)
  21. In this play through I'm going to be running without YouHunger, iNeed, Frostfall, and Bathing. Should I just remove the ELFX after YouHunger rule or is there something else I should load it after? I'm just not sure if the rule is specifically to fix conflicts between YouHunger and ELFX or if it's just trying to get it 'roughly' at a certain spot in the load order.
  22. I thought part of the reasoning behind MLU was to modify some alchemy ingredients and potions for balance purposes. With CACO loading after MLU are we forwarding those specific changes or ignoring them?
  23. Exactly. Seems a bit of a stretch to include so many patches for such a small piece of the game. Especially when Rustic Children looks great and is a simple replacer.
  24. Konahrik's adds a new dungeon, right? Why would it go into modified quests rather than world expansions. Is it about what overwrites what?
  25. I wonder where on left panel DBM should generally go as it overwrites so many different things with all of the built in replacers.
