SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn
jdsmith2816 replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Hard question to answer. It really depends on your familiarity with modding and how hard the new mods conflict with the existing ones in place... I have a highly customized version installed that basically doesn't crash in my typical 4-6h play periods. This took alot of time to get right and I had to resolve alot of conflicts myself. Removing mods not included in the CR patch is fairly easy and as long as you also remove anything depending on it you're probably good to go. Adding new mods that touch things that are already being modded will require custom conflict resolution. This includes a new dragon mod. The people in this community are generally pretty helpful just post when you have problems... we'll either be able to solve it or we won't ya know? Good luck and have fun :D -

I kept forgetting to save and wind up losing 30-60m of progress and I hate 'wasting' time more than anything. For me it was re-introduce some form of autosave or quit playing skyrim. -

I utilize AutoSave Manager.. it's fully configurable and does hard saves instead of auto saves. It also supports incremental saves such that there's a rotating queue of X save slots.. when it reaches x it overwrites the save in 1 and continues. I have it configured to incremental save every 10m and upon dungeon clear and quest completion. -

I believe that's accurate. Remove the two included ESP and utilize just the replacer from CCOR -

For Wildcat to work properly you have to play on adept and then adjust the damage values in Wildcat MCM. This could account for some of the problem you're experiencing. I'm around lvl 8 in my play through wearing slightly overpowered gear (lvl 1 spawn of un-enchanted KoTN armor and sword from https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/18114/? ) and I still get smashed pretty regularly. Having said that if I let Minerva and that mage from Dawnstar do everything it's a breeze... -

Yes, I'm suggesting to REMOVE those two entries from darth's CR patch as the quest is already fixed by the CACO Undeath patch. All those two entries do at this point is remove CACO drops from clams and oysters. It's my bad as I originally suggested we add those two entries a few days ago... I didnt' realize that the CACO patch had updated the recipe to utilize CACO's version of black pearl. -

After investigating the changes in the CACO Undeath patch in depth the CR on 00085F83 and 0403828C can be removed as the CACO patch has modified both the recipe and the lvl list to require CACO's version of black pearl. This means that, in either case, the quest line will still work. The downside to leaving our CR entry in is that the CACO ingredients you'd normally get from clams and oysters become unavailable. My apologies for the initial recommendation a few days ago... it was made before I noticed we had a CACO Undeath patch. -

Not trying to beat a dead horse but why would you say no? Trying to learn. My reasoning was that ELE is a lighting space mod and we should trust it on everything lighting but it's opinions on ownershp are irelevant. On the other hand LOTD patches are mods relating to items and thus it's opinions on ownership are probably relevant. I'm assuming there's something that's been added to Anise's hut or otherwise involved in the museum that should be acquireable without having to be a thief or slaughtering anise. -

ELE is overwriting as it should be however LOTD Patches specifically removes the Hagraven ownership in anise's house so we should forward that, yes? -

You just need to right click on the formid header and choose Add. It'll put a new one at the end that you drag the new formid into. I've done this in my CR esp. On another note... 000DDF7C <AnisesCabin01> "Cellar"* Conflict Resolution - Use Record from ELE_Legendary_Fs_Lite.esp then move Owner HagravenFaction "Hagraven Faction" [FACT:0004359E] from LOTD Patches Merged.esp* Problem Resolved - Changes from Enhanced Lighting for ENB and Legacy of the Dragonborn Patches needed to be merged. paul does it help much if I go ahead and type them out like that or should I just keep listing them the other way? -

Ah, good catch I didn't realize SNAM was one of the merge at runtime records. I recall being told previously that formid's had to be resolved as they weren't merged at runtime. -

Need to CR ForgottenCity and wheelsofLull as formids aren't merged at runtime: 000A8023 00107B9A I think we need to forward teh Wheelsoflull SNAM record at 04035472 Sorry about all the posts I'm done for now... I had planned to keep editing the original but I didn't realize there was a time limit on editing. -

Thanks for the clarification SirJesto :) Waited too long to edit these into my other cr post.. We also need to CR issues between AAE and Undeath relating to Skeleton/Draugr/Warlock NPC records: 0002D1DE 0002D1E0 0002D1FC 0003B547 0003BE1E 000524E5 000548FE 0005B752 000DA06B Since Dreadflopps Module Patches is tagged DELEV it's cutting out the GemCoral entry added by LOTD Patches Merged to the DeathItemSlaughterfish record at 0003AD9A The previously mentioned CCF/Undeath ones could be fixed by swapping load order but I'm not sure what else would be affected in this case. -

We need to CR issues between DBM and ICH specifically: 04038ADD 2400FC78 24042965 24042966 24042967 24042968 2404296A 2404296C 2404296D 241226C5 24166B5A 241972C1 241972C3 We also need to CR issues between CCF and Undeath: 0010CFEF 0010CFEA 0010CFEB 0010CFEC sirjesto: Why did you re-add argonian khajit orc and their vampire races back to the helms in question when they were removed by ICH. Was ICH incorrect in removing them? Not assuming you're wrong just trying to learn more when I can. Also what does the DNAM Male Priority and Female Priority actually drive in-game? My googling seems to be failing me this morning. -

What to do about the DBM Helgen Reborn 00008F41 FieldStation1 conflict? DBM wants to remove alot of trees/rocks in the cell it adds the new field station but also does what looks like a major nav mesh change... Helgen has also done some nav mesh work in this cell and moved around the same trees/rocks. The way we have it right now Helgen is winning which probably isn't good for the field station but I don't know what impact this section has on helgen... Another navmesh conflict for htem in 00009903 -

SirJesto do you plan on adding an Undeath patch? It's got some conflicts with AAE in the skeleton and draugr entries iirc maybe others. -

I was going through TES5Edit looking at the CR and various conflicts and we may want to look at the below. Several of the undeath questions will probably be resolved/changed with immersive lichdom so maybe don't spend much time on them undeath conflict with caco; the black pearl from the clams is an important part of the quest IIRCDBM weapon records in most cases i think we should be taking the MLU.esp DNAM and CRDTimp helm relating to undeathimp helm relating to DBMccf rleating to undeathfalskaar relations relating to undeathaae relating to undeath NPC records specifically skeleton and draugr setsaos relating to thunderchild should the aos SNDD records be forwarded?all of the undeath spell records... 04035472 should the SNAM for wheels of lull be forwarded?000131ef should probably forward the magicnoreanimate00106092 undeath relating to aurora should we forward the lich staff changes?000a88c8 crf relating to undeath000a8023 forgottencity and wheelsoflull formids 00107b9a forgottencity and wheelsoflull formids 00069ceb violens relating to dco 02004d5b use TCIY record take model and art from DBM -

Darth/Paul do you think we could run Immersive Lichdom as part of the guide? It's an expansion to Undeath that fixes some issues and expands on being a Lich significantly.. really completes the Undeath experience. There are mergeable patches available for the conflicting mods in the load order. IIRC the remaining CR required after the patches is fairly inconsequential. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60783/? -

Best way imo is to go down the integration list removing/adding/moving mods on the left side one at a time. When having to add a new mod refer to the guide for instructions. Once all mods are atleast installed and in the right place i'd skim through the guide looking for mods that have to be updated with new options, drop in the new CR Patch, and re-run all the patchers as normal. I'm almost done with that process, has gone pretty smoothly so far. Not sure if Darth is going to integrate Immersive Lichdom into the main guide or not but I highly recommend you take a look at it if you plan on doing the Undeath storyline. -

Could we include Immersive Lichdom? Somehow I overlooked it when reviewing the mod list before but it's basically required for any Undeath Lich play through. Patches exist for the relevant mods in our load order. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60783/? -

I really liked the ability to have smiths temper my equipment. When playing a mage I'd equip my follower gear and temper it up without having to spend points on smithing. -

I have an aptly named 'g:\SkyrimTools' folder and amongst it's contents are a few copies of MO. Just name the MO folder differently and you can have several copies there with their own profiles and mods as long as you're using the stand alone version instead of the installer. I create differently named shortcuts on my desktop for the different mod organizers. -
Does anyone feel like their followers are playing the game for them? I have Gor Recorder and Sofia... i barely get to get a swing in on most fights before everything has been mowed down. What difficulty lvl are you all playing on?
