SRLE: Legacy of The Dragonborn Reqtified
jdsmith2816 replied to paul666root's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Requiem has already adjusted dragons to be balanced. Even adding DCO on top was a bit much as a melee character due to stagger. Diverse Dragon's was added just because of the variety.. In MCM if you set it to be unleveled they match the Requiem lvl 75 dragons and it appeared balanced in my playthrough. I successfully defeated a few varieties of dragons. Adding on difficulty modifiers will likely make your game ridiculously hard. Having said that... yes you can add dragon modifiers but you'll need to conflict resolve it to the Race Adjustments.esp That file is essentially the CR patch for everything that modifies races. -

You never open it with all plugins.. You only choose the ones you want for each merge. -

Eh, I'd argue it's easier with the modular patches... Turn off the USLEEP mod groups except for things you know won't need updating and then just look at those particular things piece by piece. Since everythinge lse is already covered bymodgroups you aren't drowned in a sea of unrelated red noise... -

Because some things need to overwrite SMC.... but we don't necessarily want ALL of it to overwrite SMC. ;) WLSO is very very user configurable... Just stick with optionally 1 weather mod (Revamped Exterior Fog is considered a 'vanilla' weather mod for this purpose) and optionally 1 lighting mod.. For most ENB's that don't have notes on what weather/lighting mod to use I always choose Revamped Exterior Fog + Dark Dungeons for ENB You can literally run every ENB on the Nexus with some configuration of WLSO... Dahaka requires some custom work but it's technically not on the nexus ;) NLVA itself does not require a wlso__ patch... Just install it after VW on the left side.. Enable VW, disable the VW ESP... leave VW enabled after merging as the assets are used... That's it... do the rest of the WLSO merge as normal. I should have updated the WLSO page by now but I've been lazy... sorry ;) -

That's what i said..... don't run SMC from inside MO... which it appears he did since he has textures in his data directory.. -

Be sure not to run SMC inside mod organizer. -

RMA includes a version of Sensible Hardcore Compass.. Just install your customized SHC directly after RMA on the left side. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76261/? -

Yes... please always install all the relevant drivers for your hardware after installing Windows rather than relying on the shitty one-size-fits-all microsoft ones... -

You can waste time trying to uninstall unimportant mods and then fixing the things you break... Or you can spend that time trying to figure out the actual problem. Your system, assuming no actual hardware problems like bad memory sticks, CAN run this load order without freezing / crashing just fine. Your specs are more than good enough. A much weaker system can run this load order just fine assuming proper texture choices and leaving out optionals. -

I don't understand... how can you get motion sickness from 30fps? Did you have motion blur going or something? -

Yah I agree too. We dropped back to just SFO (assets only) + EVT and grasses -

Smooth 60fps is in no way worth the tradeoffs you're making. Each to their own but IMO you should FPS lock at 30 and ensure you never drop below that point. Things will still be smooth as your FPS won't be fluctuating but you'll unlock a much better skyrim for yourself. Ah, yes the ---> Isn't part of the merge name.. Just ++++ :) Assuming your ENBoost is setup properly then you're literally running out of memory on your machine. My only suggestion would be to recombine using SMC lite and give it a try. Alternatively just play without SMC and drop a few texture modifications of your own in there. :) -

You can use any follower you want but you probably will want to apply Requiem specific perks or they'll be a push over. That's not how MO works... if you put the file int he appropriate profile folder it will apply the changes. Have you scrolled down the list? There's actually alot of plugins that ARE in alphabetical order... roughly. This has always happened to me... I've taken to moving the file out of that folder... and then while the file dialog is open just dragging it into the browsing part of the dialog... or into the folder.. I forget which... In any case this will make it show up and be selectable. No clue why I have to do this. Alternatively you can just get the path to the file and edit the settings.ini in the merge plugin profile folder to set the path manually. -

My SMC outputs a folder called SMC inside of a folder called Output... I do not have it set to compress or optimize. -

The merge says to only use those plugins if you installed the ECTV Additions.... If you did not then of course you will be getting missing master errors.. Simply don't include those plugins with your merge..
