SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn

That adds another step to do and also it makes me have to open the mod page as well because sometimes MO version checker is not reliable. -

Okay I just updated the guide for a bunch of the mods, but not the mods included from SRLE. Also @rayhne I prefer your update posts which include the version as well. It really helps in updating, save me for checking back and forth from the mod page. -
Worldspace conflicts and how to solve them?
reddvilzz replied to darkside's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
I'm wondering if it is Landscape conflict or NavMesh conflict let's say if mod A is overriden by mod B but mod B messed up the landscapes/NavMesh badly while after testing mod A is not that bad. If I forward the NavMesh and Landscape records will that works? In a condition where I can't move mod A to get pass mod B load order because master dependencies and such. -

Yea it is very useful to help me keep my LO updated thank you for that. I'm trying to keep the guide updated as well but been busy in this month. I hope I can update it soon enough. So darth do you think I should change DCO to optional for users that have already downloaded DCO can install it? If you logged in on the guide page yes you will see it and you can help updates it if you want. -

That would be great if you can provide the updated CR without DCO, I'm not exactly using LotD and also I've made my own CR for my LO so I don't use the pre made anymore except for the NPC Retexture CR. I'll try and update the guide maybe today or tomorrow. -

I have not moved out of classic Skyrim actually. But currently I'm making my own CR based off LotD guide and bunch of other mods I added. And what I thought since the guide is FINAL for now I don't see a very good reason to update the guide. Maybe I have a wrong perspective about this and still should have update the guides to follow the latest mod updates. -

AFAIK Scripts, seq and interface folders need to be copied as well. Its not that much compare with textures and meshes -

It's not needed anymore. The guide is just left as is because it is pretty much complete for now. I'll remove that later. -

Just change the new version name to the old version based on SMC that will trick SMC to use that version. -

Well I think it is since it is an "assets" I forgot to mentioned that as well. Thank you for mentioning it.As for regenerating Navmesh in CK that's not that hard actually but it is more job to do nevertheless. I'll just let Paul and jd decides for it. -

I think the best solution for that would be to include the facegen on the premade ECTV. It would mean lots work renaming the facegen according to the renumbered forms or changing the formID in the esp itself, downside of this every time you do the merge you have to change it again, but I don't see any other way. Unless you want to post a How-to on the guide and let the users do it themselves. This assuming you wanted to save the hustle and don't want to make the premade ECTV larger in size. ECTV does contains lots of records maybe that causes the mismatch and grey face because Merge Plugins have to renumber the conflicting. And I don't know if every setup even though they followed the guide precisely will make a differences on the formID that are being used while merging. -

Sounds like a corrupted download files maybe? Try redownloading the mentioned file. -

I was doubting myself about my explanation but glad you understand it. Just ask if you ever find yourself stuck. -

Merge Plugins is used to merge esp/plugins only hence the name "Merge Plugins". If you set up the merge plugins correctly from SRLE and checked "copy assets" you only need to merge the plugin, the assets will be automatically copied. When you've merged the plugins from specific mods you can either disable the mod (untick it from MO's left pane) or if the guide told you to move the esps of certain mods to its own folder then you leave the original mod where the textures/meshes active. Because the way merge plugins copy assets worked is that it copies the assets from where the esps are. Sometimes this is done to save some memory space, it kind of tricking merge plugins to only merge the esps only. Basically if you merge mods, obviously you will disable any plugins you have merge or in this case of the guide put it on the optional. It's personal preferences to manage and makes everything looks tidy and neat after merging. I hope I answered what you ask. It's kind of complicated for me to understand your questions on this part because english is not really my main language. -

Welcome to STEP! I don't really get what you meant here. You can delete the texture folder from the unoptimized version if you want but don't delete the meshes. Because while optimizing you only optimized the textures not the meshes It's easy to add mods, the hard part sometimes only when checking for conflicts and compatibilities with the guide. You can add it, check for conflict on xEdit and then test it out in game. -
What to do with Script Conflicts?
reddvilzz replied to reddvilzz's question in General Skyrim LE Support
I've found another conflicts between Cutting Room Floor and Enhanced Skyrim Factions but this time the scripts are very different from each others. Can't post an the whole scripts now not on my PC. So well now what? Haha I'm confused. While I can just merge those 2 scripts if the scripts are easy like the one I mentioned on the top. But if the scripts are like CRF and Enhanced Skyrim Factions conflicts, okay I give up merging that. -

Will this solve the conflicts?Even though the Wheels of Lull packed in bsa it still use the same script while in game right? It's just a matter of priority. At least this is what I thought on how skyrim works. Correct me if I'm wrong. -
What to do with Script Conflicts?
reddvilzz replied to reddvilzz's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Okay I tried compiling the script and set it up like this on the StringCompile.bat "D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Papyrus Compiler\ScriptCompile.bat" %1 -f="TESV_Papyrus_Flags.flg" -i="D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\Scripts\Source" -o="D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\Scripts" pauseand this on the run command of notepad++ "D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Papyrus Compiler\ScriptCompile.bat" "$(FILE_NAME)" "$(CURRENT_DIRECTORY)" The script location is here C:\Users\Vague\Desktop\Skyrim Stuffs\Champollion-V1.0.1-x86\tif__010012da.pscthe command prompt keep showing this endlessly -

I've merged the Order My Item mod with some other mods and for Wheels of Lull I don't merged them.So what are you suggesting hishy? -

What I do if I found a grey face bug is this - Open MO data tab and go to textures/actors/character/facegen? (I believe, I don't really remember the directories) and choose the respective folder. - go to find the facegen file for the actors ID, and see who else overwrites the facegen - rearrange left pane to the facegen recommended from the guide. -

Huh that's weird. Masterlist updated perhaps? Now that Enai's Sacrosanct is out I'm considering to use that instead of Better Vampires
