  3. I meant to reply to this post at the time but completely forgot. If indeed L&D adds to script load if using the degradation feature (and onHit does seem to appear a lot in my papyrus logs) a good alternative would be Honed Metal which not only adds the blacksmith feature but also mages provide enchanting services in the same way. So no more need to invest anything in Smithing/Enchanting trees if you don't want to! Also, I wonder if L&D is one possible cause of the 'too much loot' issue I'm having as it also adds enchanted gear to NPCs. Darth, have you ever considered adding Death Alternative and the Captured addon? No script load at all.
  4. Is there a Changelog for this guide yet? That was a fantastic addition on SRLEX, made it much easier to keep up with things after a few days off!
  5. What's your final few load order then? I was having this issue but even after running the script I still got way more loot than I should be getting.
  6. Guide says the latest CR patch should be from 23/7 but when I click through to download it Dropbox shows it as 14/7?
  7. Just be careful with renaming merged patches as I have said many times before, it tends to break the MCM menus
  8. Thanks for the reply, just needed a baseline for comparison. My early game saves are around 24mb with string count approaching 65k. I know crash fixes largely does away with this concern, I was just interested how this compares with my c.480 esp pre merges build. I'm working now to get script latency to an acceptable level...

  10. Yeah sorry, I already had it from the Heavy Armory page. It was just that from the guide instructions I was reading it that there were two replacer esps from the LotD patches. Maybe you could amend those instructions slightly to say remove both esps and replace with the single esp from LotD (just for clarity)?
  11. So just been checking through the new guide and in the instructions for installing Heavy Armoury it says to replace both esp's with the ones from patch central. I can't find PrvtI_HeavyArmory_DG_Addon.esp anywhere in the LotD patches, only the main one. Am I missing something or is there not actually a replacer for the DG_Addon.esp and the guide needs amending?
  12. Good decision Darth, onwards and upwards! Yes correct Paul. Also reading the author's text Darth quoted above it looks like the Global changes being forwarded from Scarcity to the Bash Patch are what do the main work anyway and why the zeros don't matter one bit.

OK, so reactivating the various previously deactivated lvl list plugins didn't make any difference so they are obviously still included in the patch as the Global float values from the two Scarcity loot and merchants plugins are still being forwarded. And secondly the LVLD Chance None values aren't being forwarded: So looks like the QuickChange script is still required: I am guessing that's how it should look? Anyway, I'm pretty much sure this is how my Bash Patch looked even before I just rebuilt it to test this so I'm not sure whether or not it will have solved my mega loot issue. I'll report back this evening when I actually get a chance to load the game!

  16. I don't think it has anything to do with the quickchange script. I had forgotten to run the script before I started this round of testing and was getting all this loot, so I ran the script hoping it would fix things but it doesn't seem to have made any difference. Do I need to reactivate all the esp's which were deactivated the first time I ran the bashed patch before I rebuild it each time? I haven't been because they always still show up in Wrye Bash as being included even they're deactivated in the right pane in MO.
  17. QUESTIONS I have a few questions which someone knowledgable here may be able to help with. My build as you know is based of SRLEX (actually more like SRLE LotD now) with a boatload of additions. However my question relates to core SRLEX stuff. I have Scarcity and the Bashed Patch correctly placed in my load order and have run the QuickChange script, so how is it that every foe I slay has three times the loot I'd expect to find on a vanilla game? As an example: I'm assuming that's not how things should be with Scarcity? Three bows, a sword and a crossbow on a skeleton? And that's not as bad a the stormcloak soldiers. Also, the guide recommends setting the main game difficulty setting to Novice initially until you gain a few levels. However in the Wildcat MCM it says the game setting has to be on Adept for the Wildcat settings to take effect. Am I reading this correctly, and if so what should the setting be? Also does anyone know of a lore friendly female underwear replacer? I am using the nevernude/sfw body version and hate the green bikini all the female corpses are left with! I'm sure I saw a set of bandage-like wraps somewhere but I can't find them again. Any suggestions? And last question - a few times my game has CTD'd as soon as it starts raining but SPM doesn't show VRAM maxing out. Any ideas what causes this or any tweaks to reduce the load heavy rain puts on the GPU?

OK, so how easy would it be to add to the script so the records in question are highlighted or flagged in some way in the left pane (in the same way that conflicts are highlighted, only in a different color) so it's easier to locate them than currently having to copy and paste the IDs and search one at a time? I have several hundred records I need to locate/amend/remove so being able to easily identity them would make life a lot easier.
  20. Is there a way of automatically removing the records found using the Report Masters script? So for instance I want to remove a mod which has an awful lot of entries in my CR patch, is there a way to report them all and remove them rather than having to go through the report results and manually remove them one by one?

  23. ENB particle patch is included in the VW/Vividian install iirc, so if you're not using that then yes. Not sure about the parallax.
  24. So now well and truly into play testing stage. Seems pretty stable for now, only occasional crashes I'm having are due to maxing out on VRAM rather than errors or conflicts. I have unsurprisingly had to tweak the papyrus ini settings (within safe levels) to get my script latency down to an acceptable average and I have followed every bit of advice re maximising performance particulary on Win 10 (Park Control, CleanMEM, kill background processes, Timer Resolution, ini tweaks, etc) but I am amazed at how well it is running, averaging 40+ FPS in most areas, only dropping when loading new cells or lots of NPC activity. I've dropped a few superfluous mods (including the dovahxxx mods!) and removed the EBT plugins so textures only. I've settled on NVLA with Rudy ENB and it is simply stunning, and like I said I can't quite believe the performance I'm getting on my MOR machine. Anyway, here's a taste of it: I do have a couple of questions. As I've never used DSR or swords on back before how do I get the swords to appear on my back? The unsheath/sheath animations in 3rd person are for sword/shield on back but the sword actually shows on my left hip (1st person animations show drawing from left hip). What should I be checking? I have a weird bug in RaceMenu when I am trying to name my character in that as I type any a's and e's jump to the start of the name, for example if I am trying to type Kai it becomes aiK. Not a major problem as my usual character name is Isyuul which types fine, just wondered if anyone new of this issue and if there is a fix for it? I have tried reinstalling RaceMenu and it's plugins and none of them are merged at all.
  25. I had to add the fx files (initially from the 305 wrapper, but if you're actually installing an ENB rather than just the core three ENBoost files then that works fine too)
