I'm really not sure what to say in regards to this section. My computer works as described in the guide... but I keep getting reports that people get different results. Who is right? I imagine we both are depending on your o.s. system settings... etc Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk -

Switched full bore into the new Memory Patch 3.0. This means the following: Memory Patch 3.0 added (top of guide in Script Extenders). INI tweak added to SKSE.ini section. Safety Load removed. Stable uGrids To Load added. -
NEO, could you zip that thing up and post as an attachment? (TIA) ...the link does not work for me Thanks for setting configurable values that are a bit more user friendly (no offense to sheson). It is probably a good idea to instruct users as to those settings. Correct me if I am wrong, but MemBlock1 should not need to be set excessively, and it probably does not ever need to exceed 512 (and should probably be lower, and can be set to any factor of 4, right? .... e.g., 4*X). Explanations of MemBlock1 and MemBlock2 would probably be beneficial (where is Monty when we need him?). Here is my assessment of TESV.exe when running at uGrids=11 outside of my house in the Haafingar. I believe that this indicates that MemBlock1 dictates the cap for the first block addressed at DFEE0000 and MemBlock2 corresponds to the cap at address F81F0000. Is this correct? Is it also correct to assume that these could be set to something like 420 and 160, respectively? What are the ramifications of crossing these thresholds? What about raising them too high?Try the link again, I had to reupload it and change the address (see post above yours). As for the rest, testing will tell! It simply uses whatever values the users puts in. What is too high, too low, invalid, etc is unknown and the reason it is BETA. Sheson only recommends 512 and 256 and that has worked just fine for me. The settings SSL listed (1024/1024) cause the game to crash for me.

Sorry uploaded the wrong file... will re-upload one sec! Edit: Fixed

In case anyone cares, I updated the dll located here. SKSE.ini must be modified to include the following for the patch to work: [Memory] Enable=X where 1 is ON and 0 is OFF. MemBlock1=YYY where YYY is a size in MB (use increments such as 256, 512, 1024, 2048, etc.) , if you DO NOT set this parameter then it is set to 512MB per the original. MemBlock2=ZZZ where ZZZ is a size in MB (use increments such as 256, 512, 1024, 2048, etc.) , if you DO NOT set this parameter then it is set to 256MB per the original. To verify you installed properly check that the following file exists in Documents/My Games/Skyrim/SKSE/skse_steam_loader.log: "Skyrim Memory Patch 3.0 by Sheson Active. MemBlock1 = YYYMB, MemBlock2 = ZZZMB."

If it fails to load it will remain at the bottom in Tes5edit. Remove any refs in the patch then right click clean masters on the esp. Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk

Yes the link I posted earlier is still valid. Replace the skse provided DLL in your skyrim folder. Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk

I will crush my enemies, see them driven before me, and hear the lamentation of their women.

Unfortunately for Skyrim ENB its just an overlay. No perf change. Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk

I like letterbox cause of the UI elements being on black (my settings are tailored that way as well. I also like it because the game feels more "epic story" with them there... at least to me. There is no performance diff on or off since its just an overlay. Yes, going to readd the dragon texture pack very soon. :) -

A few new mods, a few more conflict resolution updates. More work tommorow, hopefully have the IA DSR patch done then put it in the guide. Here, have a post card! -
Thats exactly what I supplied: 1. Install ENB binary. 2. Install ini from supplied link and tweak it for your system. As the description states: "Have you tired from CTDs when game is heavily modded? Unable to install HD texture packs without CTDs or travel in the world very fast? This patch fix the problem and also it bring you higher performance even without memory fixes enabled. THIS IS NOT GRAPHIC MODIFICATION, so feel free to use with vanilla game. THIS WILL NOT DEGRADE QUALITY IN ANY WAY TO INCREASE PERFORMANCE."

Immersive Armors v7 support coming as soon as William and I can complete the DSR patch... 300+ shields... F MY LIFE! I have a BBQ to be at tonight so work won't start until after that's done. -
Developments on the ENB front: 1. I was having some massive water flickering and other issues on the world map, disabling occlusion culling in enblocal.ini fixed the problem. So this is basically out there to let people know so they don't have to suffer as I did: Under [PERFORMANCE], EnableOcclusionCulling=false SR:LE has already been updated for this change. As a warning, this parameter was added by the ENB binary with a default of true for me... so careful if using an out of date ENB! 2. Using the following tweaks I was able to up my MINIMUM fps to 28-30ish for Unreal Cinema ENB in pretty much most areas: enblocal.ini: Under [ANTIALIASING], EnableTransparencyAA=false (HUGE!) enbseries.ini: Under [RAIN], EnableAntialiasing=false and EnableSupersampling=false In actuality I was getting 40+ in most locations. 3. I agree with Rune11's assessment that I wouldn't mind seeing some clouds using Unreal Cinema. Aiyen, where would need tweaking you think? (bloom maybe? Its only set to 0.2 though...) 4. I'm still going to try out a few other ENBs for variety and will provide some feedback. So far I've briefly tried Phinix Natural, Skylight, and Weather Patch ENB. Will provide more feedback at a later date.
