  1. Ok. Thanks. I didn't know how to do that before. I'm asking because I recently tried overwriting this mod with Unique Grasses (2k version) and my fps tanked so I had to uninstall it.
  2. I'm not using this mod. I just use his robes mod, his mage items mod (spellbreaker and azura's star) and the dragonborn bow replacers. What does this overwrite from Cabal's? I didnt think Cabal's armors/weapons touched anything from the Dawnguard DLC.
  3. Yea, im' pretty sure all actor stuff should be in textures/dl01/actors, NOT textures/actors/dl01. Someone should bring that up to the mod author's attention. I'm loving the stahlrim + nordic bow/quicker/arrow replacer mods. Wasn't there already a mod in testing for Ancient Falmor Armor and Auriel's sheild?

  5. Anyone have any experience with the 1k version of this mod? The 2k killed my fps.
  6. Commenting so that I can follow this thread. I didn't realize how many other mods this guy has done. I'm definitely interested in the dragonborn stahlrim bow replacer. EDIT: Just realized that this mod includes a bunch of his other mods. He's not very good at deleted obsolete mod pages. Quite annoying actually. EDIT2: Unless I'm mistaken, the files are not packed correctly. There is a texture/dlc01/actors folder AND a texture/actors/dlc01 folder?

  9. Neo, why don't you use this in Skyrim Revisited? Is it completely overwritten by Vivid Landscapes - Dungeons?
  10. The spell wont work, even on low level skeletons. They don't flee when entering the circle.
  11. Mod author is a Woman ;-). Same girl who made the original CoT Snow Patch that was later integrated into Prod80's CoT Weather Patch.

  14. I feel ya. Sometimes it's useful to really understand WHY you are doing something, not just if you SHOULD do it or not.

  17. STEP ended up deciding on Cabal's for forts? I was starting to get a headache around the Cabal's Fort's/farmhouses vs vivid vs whatever. The consensus was Cabal's for forts? Does STEP recommend that optional rounded texture for exteriors?

  19. Just make one Vivid Landscapes All-in-One thread. Why are there multiples of these? He doesn't even update the single mod pages anymore. All the new versions come out in the all-in-one file.

  22. That looks normal to me, right? Just right click your overwrite folder, click 'create mod' and name it 'Dual Sheath Redux Patch' or something. When it creates the mod in MO, just activate it (which will activate the esp). What is the confusion about? DId you have stuff in there previously that shouldn't have been there?
  23. Well thanks. I appreciate it. Yea, I figured I could run 2k since I run every other mod in like 2k and 4k and realized my FPS was like halved. Maybe that's because grass textures move with the wind and are tied to the CPU for physics? I have absolutely no idea. Just made that up.
  24. Oh ok, I see how this works. I'm assuming I have to install this similarly to Dual Sheath Redux Patch (execute it through MO and then create the .esp from the overwrite folder)? Does anyone have any recommendations for a texture pack? I'm assuming since STEP uses bellyaches animal pack, bellyaches AV pack is an obvious choice? If I install that, do I need the Bellyache's animal pack mod from STEP (not sure if I'm overwriting textures?)
  25. I might have asked this before...but does AV just randomize textures for animals and creatures as to increase diversity, or does it actually add its own textures?
