Not sure if this is relevant but I noticed that at the end of DynDOLOD worlds.pas I got; [insert time here] Waiting for LODGen.exe to finish... Repeat every 5 seconds - for 10 minutes till; [insert time here] (something like) Looks like LODGen.exe is still running. Tired of waiting. {Success message here.} Done Point is that during the 10 minutes of this posting every 5 seconds the LODGen was running at a slow steady pace. As soon as the; {Success message here.} Done, happened the LODGen.exe sped up considerably and finished 5-10 seconds after. Thought it deserved to be mentioned but as I said, not sure if it is relevant. -

If I Moved a couple of mods, 1 esm and 2-3 esps can I just, TES5Edit-Sort Masters, for DYnDOLOD.esp or do I have to re-install and rebuild DynDOLOD? Also since I am here, can I do the same for STEP Extended Patch since LOOT reorders the masters and STEP Extended Patch.esp grumbles in Wrye Smash? -

This is what I believe to be the correct placement: DynDOLOD.esp Bottom last. --- Bash,Dual Sheath, etc. Patches can follow after Tex & Worlds are made. DynDOLOD mod (MO left pane) DynDOLOD TexGen output mod (MO left pane) DynDOLOD Worlds output mod (MO left pane) These go in this order, close to the bottom but not necessarily required to be last. As for the TexGen being Optional. I can not say. But You would miss out on additional rules and Better eye candy LODs If I understand it. EDIT: You can look at the manual provided with your Download in DOC. -

Is it Possible to have TES5Edit display any ERRORs during the whole LOD Gen process at the end of the list or will we always need to scan the whole list for ERRORs? -

I completed the task but had these Notes show up in the right pane of TES5Edit. The above is an example of several spots in the log. I assume this is normal behavior though and not indicative of a problem. I removed the Vanilla Skyrim LOD Billboards and Vurt SFO 1.87 Basic LOD Billboards prior to starting as mentioned by Tech. As stated earlier I have STEP Vanilla Optimized Textures - Standard Varsion <---(Note spelling) And STEP Texture Compilation 11.1.2 For Reference: System Info OS; Windows 8.1 Pro Processor; Intel i3-3220 @3.30GHz Ram; 16 GB System Type; 64-bit OS, 64-based processor Video Card; Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB Driver Version; 347.52 Native Resolution; 1920x1200, 59Hz I do not have a powerful nor very modern PC With Shift + OK: Background Load = 8 sec. Apply Script TexGen = 2:19 Min Apply Script World = 31:04 Min Additional 9 Min for LOD building to cease. STEP Extended LOD TexGen Output = 8.41MB STEP Extended LOD Worlds Output 2 = 1.09GB I also have several mods not on STEP Extended and as stated on the previous thread did not install BURN, Freeze & Shock, and Wet And Cold. Plus I saw that you mentioned on the other thread about not hidding some files anymore. I have all the that were required to be hidden, throughout the various Tex Mods, MO Hidden. -

Thank you. Then I should be good to go with the 48 mb output file. I do have the Comp file. EDIT: Ahh, ok I did not have that line in Skyrim .ini. I did not see it as a requirement. Either I missed it or it had not been posted. Thanks for the help. -

I am a bit confused, I have STEP 2.2.9.1 Extended installed, wo/Wet and Cold, In Mod Organizer. I have DL'ed SFO LOD Billboards and place under SFO. SMIM has SkyFalls & SkyMills patch and I have SkyFalls & SkyMills (1.5 Vanila Sails) so should not need to do any extra with those. DynDOLOD.esp is at bottom of Load order and activated. Extracted TES5Edit folder from DynDOLOD 1.28 7zip and droped Edit Scripts into TES5Edit 3.1.1-25859-3-1-1. All 3 High Resolution Texture Packs are activated as well as the Unofficial High Resolution Patch. Not sure if it matters but: Wrye Bash Patch is not built nor activated. Run TES5Edit - through MO, select all, Shift + OK, Wait till background is finished. Right click DynDOLOD.esp and apply Script. Choose DynDOLOD Worlds, OK, Select All. Select Output - desktop\DynDOLOD Output Click Medium. Now here is the confusion; STEP Wiki says wait time is generaly 30 min to 3 hrs. And that the output folder should be around 1.4 gig for STEP Extended. For me - (Apply Script done) Processed Record: 0, ElapsedTime: 07:47 And - 48.9 MB DynDOLOD Output folder size. Now I do not see any ERRORs but I do get; So what have I done wrong to where I am not getting the results that STEP wiki says to expect? EDIT: Complete failure on the spoiler tag, sorry. EDIT 2: Forgot to mention Vanilla Skyrim LOD Billbords placed under UHRP. -
Unmanaged DLCs and Cleaned ESMs

Hi guys, I am wanting to get rid of the unmanaged DLCs in MOs Archives and Data tabs. I have created Mods for MO with Cleaned DLC ESMs. If I copy the DLC BSAs and drop them in the respective mods can I hide the unmanaged ones? Or is there some other way to do it? Or would you advise against it?
