A possible glitch outside Whiterun. First image is before DynDOLOD and the second is after, showing new rocks that clip with the city wall. You can actually use the rocks to reach the wall and look inside at the LODs. To ensure this wasn't to do with any other mod I tested with a basic load order - just the USSEP and DyndoLODs requirements. https://ibb.co/iWZ7t9 https://ibb.co/gMA2RU Sorry if this is working-as-intended, search came up with nothing.

Why do the screenshots for my saves look so much better than ingame?
Pegasus33 replied to dunc001's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Have you tried completely clearing your Skyrim folder of any enb files (rather than just disabling temporarily in-game)? Have you ever used something like sweetfx or RCRN that might not have been removed? Some ENBs also have issues with the steam overlay causing what you describe - you could try disabling it from your steam preferences. -
Someone who uses SRLE with ETaC will be able to confirm.. but the only issues that come to mind are - Immersive Citizens - You need to use the lite version for compatibility with ETaC. Realistic Room Rental - If you use this don't install ETaC's Inns. Also install any other appropriate etac patches of course. Regarding your preferred ENB.. you could see if it's possible to make it vivid weathers compatible. There are instructions on the vivid weathers nexus page for that. Otherwise you might need to uninstall vivid weathers and use vanilla weather / CoT or whatever is recommended by the project enb author. You may need to alter lighting mods to taste / enb requirements but that's all very doable.

I *think* if you use DVI then you probably don't need to adjust dynamic range in the nvidia control panel for general/gaming applications. For video to display the full colour range you may still need to set it to full range as per the OP's instructions. It depends on what software you use for video playback. Years ago I always had to set it to full range for video to display correctly, but nowadays it doesn't seem necessary (and I have a HTPC thats used for blu-ray and TV). I even found that having it set to full range was causing some colour issues with certain WMV videos. Basically.. YMMV. If you use HDMI then like someone above said.. you probably do need to set it to full range.

I hate to ask two questions in the same day but..

Anywhere after SFO is fine. Just make sure the esp loads after SFO and that you tweak the skyrim.ini settings according to the instructions for unbelievable grass. -
Ah, thank you. I usually right click, select information and then select the conflicts tab (which cant be done with unmanaged mods). You learn something new every day.

Thanks guys. Couldn't figure out myself how to see within MO how many files they still provided.
-
With a full STEP extended install including the optimized texture pack, is the HD DLC still providing that many important textures? If not I was considering removing the HD DLC to free up some space. Not essential but 4 gigs is 4 gigs. Thanks.
-
I have the same issue with that same texture when parallax is enabled. So don't worry, not just you. Not sure which mod is providing that texture or why it's bugged, but I don't think it's vivid landscapes or noble skyrim. The texture is still distorted even with those disabled. Maybe a vanilla texture?

You install each file twice. Install the body file (the one named Nudes - FavoredSoulMeshes - FlaccidVersion or Underwear - Default) and select the first data folder. Install the body again but this time use the data folder in the body hair level 3 folder. Remember to select merge and NOT overwrite when MO asks. Install the face and select the first data folder - again, remember to select merge. Install the face again and navigate to the smooth optional and install that data folder, again selecting merge. Hope that makes sense.

Yep. :)

MO has "incomplete downloads"
Pegasus33 replied to blackmagic12345's question in Mod Organizer Support
This happens sometimes with MO. If you remove the offending file (and its corresponding .meta file) from the MO downloads directory (inside MO directory by default) this should fix the problem. Occasionally I move everything there to another folder for sorting anyway. -
* means wildcard. So if the instructions are to remove xyz*.ddf you would remove xyz01.ddf, xyz02.ddf and so on.

Stormcloak Armor Revival - HD and 4K textures (by skyrimaguas)
Pegasus33 replied to Tobi's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Impressive work for sure. Until now the Stormcloak armor has basically been the same as the guard uniform (which I didn't realize till I read it.. sums up my powers of observation really). This gives Stormcloaks a very distinctive look however without veering too far from the original. -
Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
Pegasus33 replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
I noticed that when the bashed patch is created for the first time, MO doesn't automatically sort it before the dynamic patches. So if the guide is followed exactly some users might run DynDOLOD without the bashed patch being before it. No idea what issues that would cause, if any, but I do remember reading that DynDOLOD should be run after the bashed patch. I know the guide says to run LOOT after an .esp is added, but perhaps a line could be added telling users to make sure their bashed patch is directly after SR Conflict Resolution.esp? -
SKYRIMLE The Ultimate NPC Overhaul by reindeer51 and Robs1981
Pegasus33 posted a topic in Skyrim LE Mods
A lore friendly overhaul for (I think) every NPC in Skyrim, companions included. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60846/? I installed this in my SR:LE setup and I've been impressed. An underrated mod and I'm surprised it hasn't received more attention/endorsements than it has. Screenshots (note: I'm using SkySight skins for males, UNP mature skin for females) - https://imgur.com/a/Ni1Sq Facial features are much improved but without turning everyone into catwalk models, and the characters also feel true to their profession/background. The hair choices are very good too, with the author avoiding most of the extravagent styles and finding the most lore friendly offerings from the various hair packs used. Normally I wouldn't use a mod like this because of all the patching involved.. and I'm still a novice at TES5Edit. Then I discovered this - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/41889/? which did all the work for me. Just note that for it to work with this mod the script needs some extra code, which you can find a few posts down in the mods comments. -
SR:LE without ENB and Climates of Tamriel
Pegasus33 replied to Jakob6174's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
I think your 880M GTX has a similar performance to my 760 GTX, and I can run an SRLE and an ENB fine while mostly keeping above the 30 fps target in difficult outdoor areas (1080p). Some minor stuttering to sort out, but I think that's due to only having only 2GB VRAM. Last I tried JK's I had a lot of fps drops (Whiterun especially). Might be a VRAM issue although I've read of people with much better GPU's still having problems with JK + SMIM. If you aren't using a full ENB though you might not have any problems. About Vivid Landscapes - Do you only have ENB setup for enb boost? If so you won't get any parallax effects. I think your system would be able to handle Vividian. But if you want better performance another option might be RCRN plus a light ENB - something like https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40729/? You could set it up to enable parallax.. and of course you get all the other nice benefits of ENB like improved shadows etc -
I have a GTX 760 2GB and SR:LE runs fine. I went with some performance options relative to the guide.. mostly clutter, bottles, food etc. I used the 1k-2k performance option of Vivid Landscapes. But you have more VRAM than me so I doubt you need to worry too much about reducing your textures. Not tested my new setup much yet but with NLA ENB I'm generally staying well over 30 fps outdoors. Vividian was a little less demanding IIRC.

SR:LE without ENB and Climates of Tamriel
Pegasus33 replied to Jakob6174's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Should be fine assuming RCRN and Imaginator are compatible. Just curious, what are your system specs? Maybe using an ENB will be possible, and Vividian is quite performance friendly. Yes you can add/change/remove an ENB later on. You may need to redo your patches for Real Snowflakes / Real Shelter though if you change weather mods. Yes, just use the Better Quest Objective merged esp now. You can delete the others now. -
Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Thank you Neo.. that's what I thought. Figured out my mistake.. I missed the BUM rule for SR Conflict Resolution.esp at the bottom of it's page. -
Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
Pegasus33 replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Where should the conflict resolution patch be in relation to dyndolod.esp? Reason I ask is - following the guide, the conflict patch comes after dyndolod.esp in the load order. But when running the dyndolod script I noticed a few errors relating to the conflict patch. Can't remember what exactly, sorry. Didn't think much of it at the time. When the script finished and I exited TES5Edit the pop-up offered to save updates to the conflict patch as well as dyndolod.esp (I only saved the changes to dyndolod however). After that when loading up TES5Edit again to run the real shelter script, I got an error saying the conflict patch is a master to dyndolod.esp and needs to load before it. Normally I have the conflict resolution after everything else in SRLE because that's where BOSS places it (since it has no rule). Just wanted to check before I move it before the dynamic esp's. -
I've been trying this out and it's a really impressive mod. Looks good with the enb I'm currently using (vividian vivid) with much less of the glowing skin effect I was getting before. Regarding compatability with Better Males.. the main issue seems to be that the foot mesh in that mod can't be used with SkySight. So if installing SkySight on top of Better Males you would have to hide/remove the meshes folder of Better Males. That means going back to the vanilla foot mesh, but I'm ok with that. Better Males also has it's own underwear texture. It seems fine with SkySight (though tbh I didn't spend much time looking). It also has some tints/scars etc which I think would be fine to leave. I don't think there are any other issues.. Skysight overwrites everything else, with the exception of the beast races which Better Males would still provide. Please correct me if I'm wrong and missed something, I'm not experienced with these things.

Hey all Just started following the guide for SRLE but I'm a little unsure where I should be scaling down quality in order to get smooth performance with my 760 GTX (at 1080p). I understand a full SRLE can use over 2GB of vram, and closer to 3GB if I stick REGS on top (undecided on that yet though). My card has 2GB of vram. Assuming for now I just install SRLE without REGS, what would be suggested, particuarly when it comes to textures? I was thinking about taking interior and exterior textures down to 1k (like STEP), but keeping 2k for armor, trees, mountains and other larger/more noticable things. Any advice is appreciated. :)
