  1. Yeah, not a fan of the WAR-EC compatibility patch. Kinda screws with weapon visibility.

  5. Sure, could you show me how to disable the Chinese Pistol? That's one that sticks out particularly, so I'd just want to remove it from leveled lists so it never appears in the game. Also with regards to Yukichigai's fixes, is it possible to merge an already-merged ESP with another ESP? You added a new mod to that section of the guide (for companion levels), so I'd like to know if I have to merge all the mods together at once, or if I can just add this new mod to the merged ESP via FNVEdit.

  7. Do you have NVR3 lower than Spice of Life in your load order? If you do, place SOL lower and you'll notice the difference with regards to items worn by NPCs (e.g. Powder Gangers suddenly start to appear more varied).
  8. Yeah, I've not got many issues with NVR3. The main issue though is how it conflicts with other mods. For instance, it screws up the item variation added by Spice of Life. Backpacks weren't showing up for me until I placed SOL below it in my load order.
  9. I'm using Outside Bets, so I'm also using the compatibility version there.
  10. There hasn't been much in the way of updates in a while. Just check for update in MO, and that should really be all that's needed.
  11. The ESP from the resources download that the guide says to install.
  12. Regarding FNVLODGEN, do we place the ESP after the bashed patch or before? And the guide says to disable "Have MO manage archives" before running it, should we re-enable that afterwards? Also should we remove the esp after generating the LODs?
  13. The ESPs for Misc Item Icons and WRP are marked as "NoMerge" in Wrye Flash, so they're not assimilated into the bashed patch, even though its recommended to disable them when making the patch. Should we remove the tag, or is there a particular reason why its used in the first place?
  14. I'm still using 1.2.18, is it worth upgrading now, or does the new version still have issues?
  15. An instant crash on startup suggests an issue with too many BSAs rather than the plugins.
  16. Yeah, I had that issue a while ago. I recall extracting the BSAs for a few mods, and renaming a few so they were no longer greyed out in MO, then ticking them. Also, with regards to the plugin limit, do ESMs count towards it or just ESPs? Got 80 active ESPs (15 are inactive due to my Bashed Patch), so I'm wondering if I'd be able to comfortably install TTW and accompanying mods in the future in addition to the ones included in the F&L guide and the few extra mods I added myself.

  18. The guy who made the ragdoll and collision mesh overhaul mods has re-uploaded them, and appears to be updating them now.
  19. I see so many people having issues, and just refer them to this guide. Usually they appreciate it, sometimes they complain about it being too much lol. It really is invaluable though, because it let me finally play through the story and DLC without tons of crashes (apart from New Vegas Bounties II and some of its buggy interiors). Oh, it wasn't "too wordy", it was "too comprehensive".
  20. Ah, I see. Nice work fixing it then. Also it's funny seeing a resurgence in mod attention for 3/New Vegas on sites like Neogaf. Someone posted a link to the F&L guide, a couple people complained that it's too wordy, and on that same page you have one guy posting an image and bitching about mods, where LOOT says that his Fallout3.esm is deactivated lol.

  22. The mod page says: Interior Lighting Overhaul - Ultimate Edition This file is a load order fix that meant to be loaded as low a possible in the load order. I'm assuming it's meant to regulate the load order, so it's not really needed if you know what you're doing. BTW, I recall you mentioning a while back that you'd be working on re-textures for the Goodsprings outfits (e.g. Doc Mitchell's outfit). Is that still going to happen?
  23. I know one major performance-killing mod is the Populated Casinos mod, as well as the Gomorrah .esp for New Vegas Redesigned 3. They cause my framerate to drop heavily in the Strip Casinos and the Atomic Wrangler. I suppose some will find the enhanced atmosphere worth it, with actual people populating the buildings, but not me.
