  1. I asked NMC about the texture seams in the game, and he linked me to a mod called Operation Fixed Terrain, which apparently evolved into Mission Mojave. Has anyone here used it, and is it recommended? Also, does anyone else use the Diversified Mojave Wasteland mod? Been using it in my playthrough, quite like how it varies up npc outfits along with Spice of Life.
  2. I think this mod might be a good suggestion for the guide (NSFW) - https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/51630/? Adds sweaty skin for Type 3 and Roberts, along with Women of the Wasteland if you have that installed. Look pretty good in-game, especially if using ENB. Comes with compressed versions for those with lower spec systems. Only issue is that New Vegas Redesigned 3 assigns custom normals to certain NPCs, so you'd have to replace those textures manually, which might screw up the designs.
  3. Yeah, I'll message Someguy about it. I managed to get around it by going to the target first, then going back to the shed. Stopped crashing when I did it that way. Pretty bizarre glitch, especially considering how it affects other saves.
  4. Yeah, something's wrong with the storage shed in Ulam Cavern. I tested it, loaded up a non-crashing save from before entering the caverns, and when I got to the storage shed, when I tried to exit, it crashed again, just like before. Also messed up my save from right before entering the shed, it crashes my game whenever I try to load it. Posted my load order below. For reference, the quest is called Revanche. https://pastebin.com/hFLJRsPQ Also a minor thing, whenever I open and close the pipboy with a modded weapon equipped, I get a corner notification saying "added". This doesn't occur when my gun is holstered. I'm using the pipboy 2500.
  5. Ok, New Vegas Bounties II is causing some serious issues for me. I'm doing the quest where you take out the Ghoul militant leader in the caverns, and for some reason, whenever I load a save from that area, I get a CTD. Also, my most recent save is from a storage shed in the place. That one loads, but whenever I exit, I get a runtime error. I've got a bunch of saves from before entering the caverns thanks to CASM, and they still work perfectly fine.
  6. I'm using the normal ENB binary, just with a few tweaks to make the game look less ****. Edge AA does a good job, the problem is the ENB itself seems to sharpen the image a little too much.   7. Ah, I see. Sounds very convenient then. BTW, do you know if it's possible to modify the sharpness of an ENB? Right now I think I want to try softening it a bit to help make the game look less jaggy.
  8. What assets would these be? Generally, the only result I get from merging plugins is the merged ESP.
  9. Just updated FNVEdit and the Merge Plugins script, when I checked to make sure the script works fine, it showed me this window. Are the options and directories correct, or should I change them? Also, the Legacy Support script being obsolete was left out of the changelog of the guide, didn't realise until I noticed that it wasn't anywhere on the page.
  10. Kinda torn on whether to use accumulative aa with ENB. On one hand, it does a good job with reducing jaggies on particularly bad spots. On the other hand, it sometimes produces artifacts and white outlines.
  11. I personally keep downloaded mod files in a separate folder on my HDD, while New Vegas and the mod directory are kept on an SSD.
  12. Nah, it's part of the mod. Removes shirts from business suits for some reason.
  13. A minor note, I really think that the Type 3 mesh for businesswear looks stupid as hell, and should be hidden in MO.
  14. For companions, I just use JIP, and tell ones that I won't be using to sandbox in the schoolhouse, while two sandbox in the truck.
  15. I've mainly been using the schoolhouse for my playthrough, but I recently downloaded the Mobile Truck Base mod, and I think I'm gonna use it as my main home from now on. Small but comfortable space, sortomatic function, very cool fast travel alternative, and incredibly good for immersion purposes (adds another dimension to NVB II for me, with the travelling to areas, then going from there to the target location). Only issue is that it could do with some more lockers for armor, and companions can sometimes get in the way, but otherwise, great mod that should be added to the guide.
  16. After you're done with STEP 2.2.9.1, d'you reckon you could add an extra section for mergable armors like you've done with weapons? There's a bunch of great individual armors out there like Modern Gunslinger and Geonox's Restored Riot Armor.

I don't think that's needed, I just extracted and hid the BSAs for Advanced Recon and JIP Companions (is it advisable to do this with JIP, as it's not mentioned in the F&L guide?), and now I can use the mod. Would I have likely been passing the character limit before? Also, should I untick the vanilla and DLC BSAs? I noticed that I have the update.bsa unticked, should I leave it as is?

I tried using this mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55531/?), but whenever I launch the game via MO (I'm using the 4GB launcher, but it also occurs when using the default exe and NVSE), MO locks for a few seconds, then unlocks while the game doesn't start. I thought it could be due to too many ESPs in my load order, but no, enabling a bunch of unused mods while disabling this one resulted in the game launching normally. EDIT: I think this may have something to do with the BSAs. I've posted a screenshot of my BSA list in MO (the mod has a BSA, but it's not shown because it was disabled when I took the screenshot). Generally, everything is ticked except for CaliberX and Nevada Skies. But when I enabled all three of them just now alongside the rest of the BSAs, my game wouldn't launch. Then when I only enabled any combination of 2 instead of 3, the game did launch.
  19. Played DEIMOS, thought it was incredibly disappointing. Buggy NPCs, linear fetch quests, barely any dialogue options. Was expecting a lot more. Project Brazil seems promising, but it ends abruptly and the second part still isn't out yet. Also they really should've separated the Atrium into smaller chunks. Right now it's a huge performance hog, brings me down from 60 to 26-30 FPS. Gets even worse after the prologue.
  20. Is there a way to fix the clipping introduced by the new Combat Ranger armor gloves in ADAM beyond replacing the mesh with the vanilla version?
  21. I asked the mod author for Roberts, and they said it's a known issue with the current version, probably going to take a while to fix. I replaced the NCR heavy gunner armor mesh in the NCR Trooper Overhaul mod with the salvaged power armor mesh from the Drags Ten armor pack, also available on the Nexus. Looks way better IMO, especially considering the original is just the bounty hunter outfit with body armor thrown on top. Is Dragbody busy with that Haven mod (I can't recall the name)? Would explain why NCR Overhaul is still unfinished in some areas, like with female compatibility. God another question. Is it possible to adjust the intensity of certain effects in ENB? Muzzle flashes and explosions appear a lot less heavy than without ENB atm.
  22. Is anyone else having issues with mis-matching skin on the tribals in Honest Hearts? I don't recall it being this bad in the vanilla game. Also, does anyone else have a glitch where one of Graham's dialogue options doesn't display properly? It says "NVDLC02JoshuaAboutZion".
  23. Figured out how to get the Edge AA working. You need to actually enable ENB with shift+F12, while the guide says to turn it off. Made a few tweaks, and now the colour palette looks much better to me, with less of those ugly yellow-tinted skins. Is there a way to lower the sharpness? Currently it's a bit too sharp, which makes the aliasing stand out more.
  24. Yeah, performance is generally similar for me. Steady 60 except for areas like the Strip and Freeside/Westside. I'll test a few vanilla interiors when I get the chance, but I get the feeling that it'll have the same result, because a few of those areas have similar FPS drops to the areas in the mod. BTW, I notice that a few mods were removed, like ragdoll overhaul and collision mesh overhaul (the mod author said he deleted them in a brief fit of rage). Would it allowed to upload them from a site like mediafire, or is that against the rules? Because I still have them in my load order (as well as the downloaded rar files), would be a shame to keep them off the guide. Also, are there any mods out there that fix the shotgun animation glitch where if you reload while moving in third person, your character will briefly spazz out before you get control again? Happens during VATS, which can be a giant pain in the ass.
