  1. Is there a way to find its id (apart from checking it before picking up, which is no longer an option for me)? I was using a gamepad before, but I realised that it was the cause of the stutter I was experiencing (55-59fps variations). Switched to mouse and keyboard, and now it's a lot smoother. Downside is that the UI controls feel weird compared to New Vegas. Used to pressing "E" to enter and exit menus, and "A" to take everything.
  2. So is it possible to make the UI controls (e.g. looting, terminals, etc) more like New Vegas? Also, does anyone know how to remove Trish's note from your inventory? It's a quest item from Diamond City Blues, but in usual Bethesda fashion, it remains a quest item even after completion.
  3. Confused about NMM. It's supposed to use a virtual folder system like MO, but as far as I can tell, the data folder is still getting modified directly? And how do you choose which ESP to install from a mod that contains multiple ones? Just uncheck the unwanted ones in the plugin menu? Can't wait for MO support.
  4. Can't wait for a mod to stop Garvey from constantly giving you shitty repeat minuteman quests whenever you talk to him.
  5. Do you know if there's a way to disable weather types in the ESP?
  6. With regards to the memory leak, seems as though the rain from Realistic Wasteland Lighting Enhancement has a particularly heavy effect on performance. Was playing for about 20 minutes, then rain started up, and framerate dropped from 60fps to 30fps. Waited until the rain went, and it went to about 40-45fps. Is there a way to disable the rain?
  7. WMX got an update. Main file, WRP patch and DLC patch.
  8. Fairly sure it's just the extra options addon for it, not the original Rebalance plugin itself. Could be wrong though. So the memory leak is completely gone without the plugin? Have you tested it out with a comparison?
  9. A guy I talked to who thinks the memory leak issue is due to Extra Options Rebalance tested with just Darnified UI, PN and Extra Options, and had a minor performance drop after around an hour. Makes sense that it would be exacerbated with more plugins. In my case, the performance drop isn't too extreme, but it's still pretty bad (60fps to 40-45fps).
  10. It'll probably drop the framerate from 25 to 10 on consoles.
  11. Have you tried installing your mods a few at a time like I suggested?
  12. Are you also deleting D3D9 and enbhost?
  13. Likely a mod has some sort of ENB in its files? Do a search in your mod folder for enb, see if anything comes up. Probably the best thing to do is start a vanilla game, and add mods chunk by chunk until your performance drops, then start removing them until you find the culprit.
  14. I generally get about 60, but that does fluctuate quite often, sometimes as low as 40fps, which I think is mainly due to the memory leak. Vegas and Freeside are probably the most demanding areas in the game. Honestly, Skyrim seems more stable in general than New Vegas in terms of performance. Strange that you're getting 30fps at best, considering your GPU is better than mine (970 vs 770 2GB). Then again, I'm using a 4770K and have 16GB RAM, which certainly helps in a CPU-constrained game like New Vegas. Or maybe it's some kind of vsync issue that you're encountering? How does it run without mods? Are you using that Ojo Bueno vending machine mod? It was causing major performance drops in Goodsprings when I used it.
  15. Working on a Roberts patch for Dragbody's NCR Overhaul mod. Currently, the short-sleeved ranger outfits have nipples on the arms. First time working in Blender, so I'm trying to figure a bunch of stuff out like meat caps and clipping. Wrist seam is also still there, though I'm not sure if that's an issue with Roberts itself or an error on my end.
  16. That's what I was saying, there seems to be some sort of memory leak, and at least two guys from the link I posted claimed it's due to the rebalance plugin from extra options. I'll try disabling it and testing performance without it. BTW, has anyone else encountered a weird glitch at the Mojave Outpost where a group of night stalkers literally spawn out of nowhere? Walked past the merchant, and they just appeared randomly (before being gunned down by the soldiers). EDIT: And now a feral ghoul randomly spawned at the outpost. Weird. EDIT 2: Small heads up on the Distributed version of Dragbody's NCR Overhaul mod: It screws up the voice modulation on the face wrap armor and helmets, so that the armor produces voice modulation instead of the necessary helmets. Had to make the necessary changes in the geck.
  17. I'm encountering the same issue as this guy, where my framerate drops from 60 to around 45-50fps after a period of gameplay. Just began a new playthrough, and after loading up a save just outside of Primm, I did the quest to wipe out the powder gangers and appoint a new sheriff, and after completing it, the framerate dropped to 45fps, and I had to reboot the game to bring it back up. Apparently, the cause is the rebalance module of the Project Nevada Extra Options mod. Can anyone else verify that this is indeed the culprit?
  18. I'm using Moraelin's Professional Suits, and I want to add the new suits to leveled lists so that they have a chance of being worn by gamblers and generally any NPCs that wear suits or pre-war outfits. What's the best way to do this in the GECK? Also, is it normal for the bashed patch to not import these particular items for female models?
  19. Came across some good weapon replacers for the 10mm pistol and That Gun. The latter mod requires a WMX compatibility patch to make weapon mods work.
  20. I was getting random crashes already with ENBoost enabled. Also, I'm using an Nvidia card.
  21. Game looks less ass when using ENB, but it does come with a bunch of issues like hair transparency and buggy AO (noticeable when there's smoke effects). Is there a way to separately modify contrast for day and night? With one setting, it can look washed out during the day and ultra contrasty at night. Are there any good presets around for Reshade? Came across a couple, but they don't look particularly good.
  22. Even with the effect turned off in-game, I still get performance issues unless I remove the ENB entirely. Here's a comparison. First part is with ENB completely uninstalled. Second is with ENB activated. EDIT: Seems it was the "ReduceSystemMemoryUsage" setting causing the issues. Setting it to false removed the constant hitches and stuttering I was getting. I've got 16GB RAM and a 2GB GPU, so anyone with a similar setup should also set the option to false if using ENB. This should probably be mentioned in the ENBoost section of the guide.
  23. Game's on an SSD. I've determined it's due to ENB, as the area that I tested out ran a lot smoother with ENB uninstalled (deleted d3d9.dll; simply disabling the effect in-game lowered GPU usage, but the stutters were still there). Hardware is 2GB GTX 770, 16GB RAM and i7 4770K.
  24. Particularly buggy mod? Also, using MSI Afterburner to monitor my CPU and GPU usage during gameplay (CPU usage is ridiculously bad, it only seems to use a few cores out of 8) , I noticed that GPU usage will frequently drop to about 5% whenever I get those short pauses. Particularly noticeable when producing explosions with the grenade launcher. This is after removing a bunch of mods so I'm now down to 117 plugins (with 12 disabled due to the bashed patch). Is EVE likely the culprit in this case because of its effects? EDIT: Seems that ENB (latest 0278 binary) is the issue. Uninstalled it, and now the game runs much smoother, barely even drops a frame when firing the grenade launcher. Would the stutter be an inherent problem with ENB, or a particular setting (e.g. memory amount)?
