  1. Yeah I am not talking about the monetary aspect but where I get my enjoyment from. Modding is kinda like free lego. For me at least.
  2. Also another thing I would consider for me generally not a target for this kinda thing. The great thing for me about mods is finding new mods and trying them out developing a new load order and so forth. Its like playing with lego. The great thing is the building not necessarly the playiing with it. I have one complete walkthrough of skyrim when i still didn't mod it on an old laptop. the rest are like 10 to 50 playing hours with varying mod load order. So I really am not the target audience.
  3. But there aren't more responsibilities for any modder to support their mod more than before are there? This is the biggest problem I have with a payed mod. If the mod is free I have no problem with switching it out if it ceases to work but I would most likely be reluncant to do so if I paid for it. So this would prevent me from using that mod ever from the start. I could see an argument for certain mods that are just so essential like the unoffical patches that could be a requirement for all future mods but even then that just covers such a miniscule part of the mod authors.
  4. Yeah defenitely go with the first one. Its Asus so good product quality and it is so much overkill. The second Asus is so targeted for overclockers that it doesn't really make any sense and if the price is the same i would choose asus over gigabyte although i currently have a rather cheap gigabyte motherboard and it is doing its job quite well even with my overclock from 3.6 to 4.0 Ghz. But Asus is really the brand to go to. Other than that there really is nothing to say if money is no object as all the necessary features are there in all motherboards and performance is less regulated by the motherboard than ever for Haswell. And please don't buy a 1000+ Watt Power Supply like Freyrgjurd suggested. It's too much power and I doubt that two 980 will even go to 750 Watts unless you buy those Kingpin EVGA edition cards and put it under dry ice cooling.
  5. Yeah Passmark gives you a very good multi threaded workload most likely. Which is where the FX-8320 excels at but it has nothing to do with gaming performance unless you stream to twitch or smth. But for most Games an Intel i3 or i5 is better. And if you want to stay under 800 an i3 is a valid option.
  6. You definitely would need to overclock to make your choice worthwhile. https://anandtech.com/show/8864/amd-fx-8320e-cpu-review-the-other-95w-vishera/5 See here the 8320 is only better than the i3-4330 if it is overclocked to 4.8 GHZ. But they are the same price so it depends. Don't know how profficient you are with that so you have to decide for yourself. And you should really use two memory sticks as dual channel is a really big improvement and you can go four sticks later if you really need 16 gb.
  7. At the moment there are only the Amulets listed under the Main Modules Table in the detailed Instructions. Shouldn't there be Rings and Circlets be listed too? At least there are also opions listed for Rings which only are necessary if you select Rings under the Main Modules.
  8. No thats not really what I meant either. Even the normal installation will not copy the elemental staffs pack as there is a coding mistake in the original installer. The user rpsgc on nexus describes it better: You have an error in the installer's XML regarding the Elemental Staffs patch. It says "013 Elemental Staffs" but the actual folder in the archive is "013 Elemental Staffs Pack"You get this error:16:05:07 [C] failed to extract Data013 Elemental Staffs to : 013 Elemental Staffs not found in archive
  9. Also important is that at the moment the installer is a bit wonky as it doesn't copy the meshes from the elemental staff pack into the virtual override directory. The author acknowledged the problem and promised to fix it tonight but I still wanted to bring it up here for fast installers. I just did another manual install and merged the few missing meshes into the mod. Don't know if there would be actual problems with the mod but still.
